Dr. Joel Rose D Review

Dr is good but to crowded in waiting room but reading material plentiful.

Would not recommend for Spanish speaking people to come here unless you predominately speak English----

Made an appointment specifically because the Spanish speaking staff said they could translate for a Spanish speaking patient. The doctor was okay but didn''t speak Spanish. When he called in the staff to help, the staff were rude and impatient. They were visually annoyed by the doctor's request for assistance in speaking to the patient in Spanish. When the patient was unable to answer questions immediately, the staff gave the doctor an attitude and stormed out.

The appointment felt very rushed and staff was unable to communicate what would happen next in regards to follow up appts with the patient.

I absolutely hate this place. Not only is it unprofessional and dirty but the receptionist is atrocious. She is a litte miss know it all and quite frankly she projects her misery at the workplace. During my appointment with Dr.Rose, he kissed one of his assistants to say bye (on the cheek I think, I was uncomfortable and didn't even bother to look) in the middle of my appointment. All in all, HORRENDOUS SLOPPY PLACE.

The office is very small and old-fashioned. However, Dr Rose is a highly knowledgeable and kind optometrist. His three secretaries are bilingual in English and Spanish. They were all helpful and courteous (although the secretaries self admittedly gossip a bit too much).

Because of the small number of staff, the patients receive individualised attention. I would recommend this practice.

My experience was wonderful with dr. Rose but his Assistant its not experience and in what she does very rude and then she talk about u in Spanish to the other worker not professional .

Horrendous customer service, especially from the receptionist Francine or Fran or whatever her name was that attempted to "help" me. She is rude and takes her frustrations out on you even if you're being polite. I simply asked a few questions about Dr. Rose's practice and she proceeded to give me attitude as if I were in the wrong. Then, when I finally asked for her name she flipped out at me demanding a reason as to why, mind you I was calm and polite the entire time though my patience was running thin. I told her I wanted to speak with the Doctor as I have a right to before entering any establishment and she hung up on me. Calling again, she finally agreed to let me speak to him. I was so angry at this point that I just flat out told him this is not how a business should be ran. It displays a lack of awareness from not only the staff but ultimately the Doctor, as well. I will be taking my business elsewhere to a place that is not rude to their customers.

The doctor was nice however the receptionist was disgustingly rude. Her attitude was horrible and very unprofessional along with the fact that the staff and receptionist like to speak in Spanish to each other about the patients because they must think that no one else can understand them. I even tried to ask her how long the wait time typically was for contacts she proceeded to tell me that she didn't know what kind of agreement I had made with the doctor, so I really don't know what she was talking about or trying to imply because I thought that it was just something standard where she could tell me how long the wait time was to receive my prescription. Overall I like the doctor he was very nice but because of the staff I would highly recommend finding somewhere else to go where you don't have to deal with a nasty attitude.

I like Dr. Rose and I think the staff is courteous. Been going there years now, since I was working, I'm retired now, maybe over 5 years... not a problem. I have a friend that takes her 8 year old there also. She and her son likes it there.

The office was in a very clean order, the receptionist was very nice and has good energy. Dr. Rose was very nice and did a great job on my case. I very much enjoyed going to his office and seeing how all his co-workers get along. Highly recommend going there!

I love Dr. Rose. He has been my eye doctor since I was a child. I have been his patient for over 15 years. I highly recommend him to anyone who is seeking an optometrist.
