The communication is a little lacking and when I called in to address an issue the customer service rep acted like I didn't know what I was talking about and wanted to argue with me. Never argue with the customer.

I got their direct mail piece and called for service. They were extremely responsive to questions and had me on the schedule in no time! I appreciate good customer service and we are off to a good start.

HORRIBLE company! Do NOT go with them. They will NOT communicate back to make things right! Take it from us - Dr Green Lawn care does not keep their word. We had prepaid service agreed upon for an allotment of time. Sounded like a good deal in the beginning.... During that time and after - my husband and I called several times stating that nothing was working (their treatments did NOTHING). Then, we sent them pictures. They would act like they would send another specialist out or would do something to compensate but nothing ever happened. our front yard basically totally died went down to dirt and got weeds even more everywhere - so we had to hire elsewhere to get it totally replaced (new grass and all). Then, we get another bill out of the blue saying that they had another treatment done after all that and after all our attempts to communicate on their poor service during the treatment time we had already paid for. This bill was "supposedly" for another treatment they did (WITHOUT our permission) once random day. We immediately called and they claim that we didn't state specifically to stop further treatments or plans... SO UNETHICAL!!! This was a couple of years ago - they keep sending that bill even after we said we didn't ask for another treatment and that our service with them had been long over and we had to get a new yard (basically). They kept sending bills, emails - we kept calling to talk/ and get it figured out. I called in October of this year to talk to management or owner. The customer service lady said someone will call me back, then in November we get a creditor letter saying that due to our "lack of response" they sent it to a creditor. It is very very wrong! We've NEVER had this poor of experience with an company like this. I called just today - and got a totally different person who had excuses as to why we couldn't talk to manager or owner.... DO NOT EVER go with them - STRONG WARNING!!!! Pictures below.

Been using them for 5+ years now...

Pros: Overall, the healthiness of our backyard grass has gotten much better. The front yard has seen less crabgrass over the years (it still comes back though). Shrubs appear to be a bit healthier than when we started service. When I call to complain if something hasn t been done right, the owner has always been helpful in trying to find a resolution.

Cons: Front yard grass continues to thin out and has found some fungus now (not necessarily their fault, not sure). Always have to double-check throughout the year that they actually come out enough times as agreed on for service. I pay for an annual service up front and continue dealing with payment requests throughout the year...not a massive issue, but annoying for sure.

Overall...it s a slightly above average service that I always consider changing each year but don t want to because it s convenient and the owner is always accommodating when I let him know there s an issue. That s worth it considering all companies have their challenges.

Do not use! You will regret it, I promise. Signed up solely because I thought the seeding and aeration portion was a good deal. It turned out to be a nightmare. The guy showed up the day of with no gas for aerator, so I had to fill it up with my gas. Then, it seemed like he'd never run an aerator before. Tore up the yard and the seeding was spotty at best. Had them come back to reseed. I wish I had taken pictures at the time, but I did not. Once my yearly commitment was up I called multiple times to try to cancel and they would always push back. Eventually, I got confirmation of cancellation and they still showed up and charged me. I am still fighting with them over this and they have sent me to collections. All their service vehicles look terrible. The quality of work and service matches. Bookkeeping is suspect and customer service is too. If they say they showed up and spayed, you will be charged. When they show up and spend 5 minutes on your yard, you will be charged. You will regret using these people. I have since signed up with another company that is head and shoulders better.

That how my grass look before Dr. Green, I try many products but no much success. Now definitely I see improvement in grass condition. It still some weeds but it only middle of season and it need time. I sign up this late summer, I will upload more picture next year in Spring then Blue Violet get to bloom, when we can compare result.
One year past and I still have a weeds in my yard, keeping calling to Customer service and they truly great people. But I don't see the results that I hope to see after almost end of second year.
