Dr. Gino Mercadante Review

I've given this office a chance for over two years and have been disappointed with almost every interaction. It's great if you only need to go 1x a year because they have a lab right inside the office; but if you need something more or a referral to a specialist, etc - STAY AWAY. I am never able to see the doctor I want, I've had multiple referrals slip through the cracks, I have had to call multiple times to remind them to send referrals for MRIs, physical therapy, etc.
The office staff or whomever answers the phone could use a lesson in customer service. I am in the process of transferring my records to a new office now.

My husband John has been seeing Dr. Mercadante for many years and has never had a problem with test results, having prescriptions called in to our pharmacy or anything else needed from his office. From what my husband says, Dr. Mercadantes' personality puts his patients at ease and makes his patients feel better before they leave, by providing them with straight answers. Starting well over a decade ago, Dr. Mercadante earned my husbands trust. And lastly, his office staff has always been great.

I have been with Dr Mercadante for over 20 years . everyone in that office has been great to deal with and the doctors and PA have been the best. Yes they tell you you need to come in for your normal physical's but that"s how they know your doing well and not just when it's a Emergency . Grow up people . this place in my opinion is the best.

No matter what I need the doctor's office always comes through. I often find the office busy, yest everyone gets taken care of. One day a elderly man with a bleeding head was walking really staggering, down the street towards Dr. Mercadantes. He had fallen on the sidewalk. I was coming for my appt. And helped him in. His head had really been injured. The doctors and the staff took great care of him, finally calling the ambulance. I love them all

I've been going here for 10 years, and my parents even longer...I've NEVER had a problem making or rescheduling appointments, nor have I ever had someone talk down to me or even be rude. This is my personal experience, and have to disagree w negative reviewers. I'll be staying w them.

This is the best clinic i really love this place the Doctor and the nurses they are so sweet I'm so thankful thank you everyone!!!

Went with a shohlder injury. Now is 5 weeks later, told i nedd a specialist. Still waiting for a referal. Called daily only to be told it hasnt happened yet. Today is my last day as a cow

They have the best PA s that are very thorough with ur health. Their hours are really 7:30am during the week during covid. Everyone is so kind and professional in the office. Make sure u call tge office to be put on the list before u go.

I had been a patient there for over 4 years (until today) and I've never even seen the actual Doctor even in the hallway. It's all PA's and I went in today for a problem with pain in my hand and right away before she even asked about my issue the PA starts in on me about how they are NOT an urgent care place and I need to come in for yearly physicals etc. Right away I realized it's all about them booking appointments to get MORE MONEY. The woman was rude and just plain ARROGANT the way she spoke to me, it was disgusting!!! Not to mention EVERY time you call, they answer and put you on hold immediately. The place is nothing but a cattle call. After I left I thought about it, called them back, cancelled my next appointment and then changed my PCP. I would NEVER go there again. It's a joke. The ONLY good thing about that place was Dr. Henderson, I can see why he left!!! UPDATE: I love these reviews to directly disagree with REAL reviews. People are intelligent enough to know it's the doctors office making those reviews. LOL

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE!

I Would like to personally say that Dr. Mercadantes office has been one of the best doctors offices that I have seen ever!

Anytime we need anything they are right on it! Never a question asked. This office has Been around for a long time and they are not going anywhere anytime soon.

Sometimes they get delays too with other doctors not getting back to them, is it anyones fault NO!

WE are all human, we all have multiple things on our minds just like they do in this field of work. At times the answers don't fall as quickly as we would like. If you all could learn patience it would go much smoother
