Downtown Brunswick Food & Wine Festival Review

Excellent and creative shrimp and grits (Charleston sautee). I don't eat pork so they substituted the ham for the salmon catch of the day. Wonderful! It had the best okra I've ever tasted on top. My friend had an amazing chicken and sausage special. We ended with a chocolate bread pudding. Great friendly service as well. Local customers a the next table said they had enjoyed every menu option ever selected. Don't miss this comfortable and reasonbly priced jewel of Brunswick.

This place is awesome. So glad we went there this afternoon on our way home today. The food was delighful and the service was amazing. The prices were good. Loved it. Next time we are in the area we will definatly go back. The menu is fun with great options you can't miss.

Deliscous burgers. I've had the "Raj burger and the pimento cheese burger. Both are excellent. My wife raves about the bean patty they do every time we've been. Great selection of craft Brew as well.

The Colypso Nachos are the best! We make it a point to stop by every time we pass through!

Very cool atmosphere. Recommend for those traveling on I-95 for a great lunch. Food is excellent and large portions.

I really loved this place! We came here for lunch while on a summer road trip and ate outside. The food is really next level fantastic and they support any customized order you may desire. For example, my son ordered shrimp, beans, and rice (not a kids combo on the menu) - without batting an eye, they took the order and served delicious food. Very friendly, great prices. Perfect in all ways!

My top place for delicious american food. i had a cousin come into town and she asked me to go back here. the bill was decent for the quality. ambience reminds me of colorado springs area.

My wife and i visited here today march 7th 2019. wasn't extremely busy sat right down waited for waitress for over 5 minutes another couple sat down 1 table over from us and waitress immediately acknowledged this couple who from the conversation we over heard are regular customers in mean time we are not regular customers got there order and then come to our table to get our drink orders. then she came back with drinks on tray and proceeded to carry on her conversation with regular customers again with our drinks on the tray for another 3 to 5 minutes really poor service not very attentive to her surroundings as the place was starting to get busy. after all this we finally order as you can guess regular customer got food before we even got our appetizers then 10 minutes later pur order came out my wife ordered the fried green tomatoe sandwich which was not very tasty i ordered the pimento hamburger it was excellent the fried okra was as well.now my wife and I will not be back to establishment again funny thing is we know people that work here and they did excellent but not our waitress...

Stopped by on a whim based on Google reviews. I am glad I did! They're fish of the day was grouper and I was able to get a very nice grouper tostada four less than ten bucks. The place was extremely busy and I found the only table left. I was still able to have a bowl of soup and entree and was out of there in 35 minutes. Great food great price very friendly staff.

Wow, great find! This place has so much character! The food is delicious! My wife had the catch of the day, mahi mahi on the calypso salad and I got the special, tika chicken curry, I am not a fan of curry, but it was wonderful! They have me a sample to try, very nice staff.

This restaurant is excellent. The food is fresh and flavorful. Great local beer. The waitress was able to have the chef make a custom vegetarian option that was not even on the menu for my wife that was exceptional. Great sized portions of home cooked, fresh and flavorful cuisine

Whenever we're in the area we make it a point to eat here. We have never been disappointed and always find the staff friendly and the food very well prepared.

The food is amazing!! We got the nachos and the flavors melded together beautifully. Dinner was even better. Before you leave try the Chocolate Bread Pudding Sundae it was like heaven on Earth! Our servers were attentive and kept our drinks topped off. We ate outside so the two that were working made sure that no table was waiting for drinks or anything.

It is my favorite restaurant in the Golden Isles. Regularly updated specials as well as standbys on the lunch or dinner menu.

Always great service and creative dishes served in a fun setting.

We just left the Indigo Coastal Shanty (dinner) and the food is awesome! My dish was very good but the black beans and brown rice side was really good. I'm allergic to chocolate, so I had the pound cake with ice cream for dessert (oh my gosh)!
The service was really outstanding and for Glynn County that means 'out of bounds'.

I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! Everything was fantastic! We got there 15 minutes before they opened and they welcomed us, got us drinks, and we're so incredibly nice. We can't wait to go back!!

Unique & tasty menue. Moderately priced. Super friendly staff. Really cute decorations. Ate outside, early evening, was like sitting in a magical garden.

What a find! By just looking a little past the exits along I95 we found this great, great restaurant. Food is terrific and interesting and like another person said referring to the staff 'coolest, kindest people'. We'll be back.

Wow! This is a place where your taste buds will overload with new experiences. It's a little off the expressway, but certainly worth the diversion. Chelsea was a natural @ making our visit delightfully enjoyable, including her photo skills @ the giant Live Oak.

Good food, friendly servers, attentive staff. It was a little noisy, but that depends on the customers and time of day. I would go again, definitely. I might time the visit so that it's less crowded, but staff was excellent in managing crowd.

Excellent service, amiable staff, delicious fusion food. We had to wait longer than anticipated for a table due to a rain storm and they wouldn't let us pay!

Pimento burgers and tostada special were great. Service was pretty good after the 3 tables that arrived after us were greeted and drink orders taken. Homemade hot sauce was awesome! Finally if you don't get any kind of side with a burger, the server should mention beforehand so you can have your fries with your burger and not after.

Potato soup was delicious. Also had the Mezze appetizer. Unfortunately we were too full after that to order an entree but there was a lot of yummy looking things on the menu.

We love the Coastal Indigo Shanty! Their food is far from the typical restaurant fare, and their seasonings are delicious. The staff is friendly and well trained, and though the restaurant is small, the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Coastal Indigo Shanty is one of our go-to favorites!

Great portuguese-style kale/chourico soup made with tomatillos instead of tomatoes. Unusual, creative food combos. Price/quality ratio outstanding. In love with the staff!

The chicken curry was divine. Sweet potatoes with the coconut milk made it so smooth and tasty and the sweet potatoes were the perfect accent accept.

The was the first restaurant we went to and dine-in sincethe Shelter-In-Place order backing March. We sat on the porch with our dog and had such wonderful time. Our server was amazing and the food was amazing. The nachos were out of this world fab & the Fisherman's Bowl was so hearty and tasty! We will definitely go back when we come back in July!

Small menu but everything I've had was wonderful. Caribbean fare obviously prepared with much thought and care. Each dish sampled was inventive and delicious.

The food here is amazing. Both the item me and my girlfriend got were very delicious. Atmosphere is a little off and is filled with old retired people. It didn't feel rushed but we sat down, ordered, ate our food, and left in like 15 minutes so I'm not sure if that is our fault or what.
