They had popping corks that I needed and some jig heads I was looking for. Live and frozen shrimp, frozen mullet, etc.

Great people work here that are super nice and really friendly

Will go to fishing franks nextime most of the live shrimp were dead within 2 min of putting in bait bubbler .commented to attendant that shrimp were inactive he said I. Can try another bait place if I want.
I will take his advice and and hope other people do the same

Worst bait shop I ever been too. I was the only customer there and the worker was assisting me first. But when some other customers came in he completely ignored me and started talking about stories with the other customers for 15 to 20 minutes. It just made me feel ignored completely made me feel like I was not welcome to a certain degree. Would not recommend this bait shop to anybody. very little supplies, and rude customer service.

Grab a beer and sit under the shade and enjoy Charlotte Harbor it doesn't get much better.

The young guy that helped us was great. He helped with a newbie that didn't know about Florida fishing, helped finding bait and poles for the kids.Great place

The fish were waiting. I arrive at the Downtown Bait&Tackle. Bait bucket in hand. 3 dozen live shrimp an a hand full of tackle.
All set one stop. They've got it all.

Knowledgeable employee. Very friendly with good tips. Always happy when buying bait and they its fresh.

it had nothing to do with the face sheilds. I tried to just purchase an energy drink and leader line. Your guy behind the counter insisted on telling me repeatedly "Energy drinks arnt good for you" even though I ignored him repeatedly. Then he placed his dirty bare hand on the mouth of my open soda water I brought into the store. Ive had only good experience up to this point. But you all not only sell energy drinks, you sell alcohol. If your employee is so concerned about the negative health effects of the products you sell, so much so he won't allow a customer to purchase the product. Why do you sell it in your store?

Stopped here for bait when I was on Vacation and they had good size live shrimp. Price per dozen wasn't bad like some other places I've been to. I would recommend.
