Great medival grounds with a lovely walled rose garden and tranquil wooded walkways behind the cricket squares

Lovely building with a couple of saints relics in. Monks not very friendly and some are quite snobbish. Mass contains more Latin than I like

Lovely building from outside but that s all we saw. Dropped by August 2020 but was told by unfriendly monk that we weren t allowed to even walk round the outside of building due to Covid.

Impressive building. Sadly didn't have time to go inside.

A haven in the midst of the sea of the tranquil Somerset countryside. What a beautiful place. What wonderfully welcoming and hospitable monks. It was a privilege to stay here for 2 nights on a retreat and I thoroughly recommend that you also take a retreat here. I plan to return to the quietness and peace that this glorious work of God offers to my otherwise noise-ridden existence.
