They simply bill you based on what you've been paying. I live alone and I'm also a professional truck driver so I'm only home 10hrs which is just enough time to sleep and consistently 3 to 4 days out of the month. My bills stays between $60-$70. There is a base fee for sanitary $19.50 they're basically charging me $20 usage to have water which includes 4 toilet flushes and a load of laundry and the rest are just fees.
I usually don t write reviews but Maria was extremely unhelpful and needs to undergo training. She seemed to have an attitude like there was something I did to her. (She did not look at me while I was speaking or greet me until I greeted her.)
After I filed out my paperwork she never even looked at it, or gave info on the 24 Hour time frame or the $50 charge to expedite water set up.
Then she proceeded to enter in a LATER date in the system instead of the one on the paperwork without calling to let us know the chosen date was not available without the $50 expedition.
I was waiting all day for someone to show up between 7:30 and 5:00 pm (for no reason) because of her poor communication/customer service. BTW I only knew this time frame because I HAD to ask her, she our paperwork and said ok with a blank expression. Feels very discriminatory
so I usually don't have trouble paying my bill. But the young people working there need to learn how to count money. The fact that it took 3 people to figure out that if the bill is $32.97 and I hand you $40.97 just hand me back $8 was an act of congress to get my change. If you hire someone to handle bills and money make sure they can count.
Further more when she asked did I want to add all to the account the past 3 times I did that it was never credited and I lost my money. The girl acted like I was taking the $8 out of her pocket. Really need to re- evaluate your employees.
The woman I spoke to today was very rude. She spoke to me in a manner as if I should know everything about the water charges. She keep cutting me off during the call and hung up on me before I could get my last question out. I will be glad when I move from Douglas County so I won't have to deal with their rude customer service.
No program for those affected by covid-19. No program for elderly disabled with dementia. No heart. No soul. Just a cold "give us money for excessive fees or get lost". God doesn't like ugly and this company is the epitome of ugly.
They're alright. The billing cycle is a little strange though. I don't know if it's just me or is the billing cycle every 2 weeks?
My 3 stars is based on there payment methods. I always do online payments. It s semi convenient, but if i didn t have my account # I would be in trouble. Your payment methods need to be updated and the service fees need to be removed. I made a payment today before my due date but still charged a fee.
Super irritated with Douglasville Water right now. Not sure what the water problem is probably because I was not notified, called, left a note, or any updates as to what has occurred, what to expect. I received an email today letting me know that card on file has expired but nothing about the water outage that has been prevalent since I woke up this morning. I understand ish happens but updates on the issue would be freaking excellent.
paid bill went to dr came home and water cut off, now they say on list to be turned on, and shows on bank it hit before the time they say it was cut off
it was paid so shouldnt been shut off and shouldnt have to wait to be turned back on
I had a great first time experience here! I dealt with Ryan over the phone who was more than helpful! When I came into the office to drop off paperwork everyone was friendly and answered any questions I had.
