DoubleTree by Hilton Monrovia - Pasadena Area Review

Spent a week here and truly enjoyed our stay. Great staff and large rooms/bathrooms. When we're back in LA, we're definitely staying here again.

I would recommend this Hotel. I got a great deal through a booking site and had a great time. The room was clean. The view was great as well as the location. Clean room and friendly staff.

This is a Hotel management outfit for profit not customer experience. Hilton should be ashamed!!! Outdoor patio closed to maximize profit not customer comfort/experience. Why??? Health issues outside!?!?! We can maintain less, minimize expenses and maximize profit to a fault. Fitness center is closed for the same reason. Coffee shop closed for the same reason. Other Hilton properties in Montebello and Arcadia have theirs all open. Wise shoppers chose elsewhere!

I love the lobby scent! What is it, and where can I get some for my house? Smells so fresh and welcoming!

Front counter staff was also super pleasant. My husband and I were offered doubletree s famous cookies upon arrival and departure. Each cookie was warm, and had the perfect balance of chewy and crispy, and loaded with huge melty chocolate chips and chopped walnuts. Just heavenly!

Rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are remodeled and modern. Tons of free parking. Close to the freeway and so many delicious restaurants!!

The only cons of this hotel: wall a/c in the rooms are outdated and noisy, the shower water pressure could be stronger, and the sliding bathroom doors don t lock or close completely (you can easily peep the person in the bathroom).

Wonderful place, Nice rooms, one of the best beds I've slept in for a long time. Great staff, very helpful, everyone was very nice and friendly. Good location, with lots of shopping and restaurants in any direction. Great value, I would stay here again, no reason to try anywhere else in the area.

We been staying there a few times this year, our biggest complain is the marihuana smell, I guess is nothing they can do, about that State regulations...
This time the room was dirty especially the bathroom, the front desk were really nice about it, trying to get it clean unfortunately cleaning stuff never show up, the supervisor cleaning lady was there when I show them the pictures and she said it will be take care. What we learn she did calls instead SUPERVISING. We end up changing rooms in the night Is really disappointed to pay for that

Great suite room. Loved the tub. Hated the security guard chasing us down to put a mask on.

Here s a quick review. Walls are thin so be prepared to hear people in nearby rooms urinating and talking. The wall AC is really loud and blows out air that smells weird. Plenty of parking spaces but they re all extremely narrow. Staff is super friendly. Lobby is gorgeous and always smells great. I wish the rooms were as nice as the lobby. Their complimentary cookies are delicious. Would I stay here again? Maybe.
