Very clean, the staff was super friendly and courteous, the shuttle services were so appreciated. The on-site restaurant had really good food too! The convenience of being so close to the airport was also a bonus.
Location is phenomenal, especially the river side. Great access to the river walk along the south side of the river. Great access to near by restaurants as well.
There is a nice pool deck that the kids liked.
The rooms need updating, especially in the bathroom and the patio door (lots of outdoor noise was audible at night) but the beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay, especially the warm cookie greeting.
One more thing, parking on site is an additional cost per night, conveniently located under the hotel, but parking is not secured from the river walk side.
The staff went above and beyond to provide an outstanding experience for the 60 guests at our USN ship's reunion. Everyone was unfailingly helpful and friendly, the facilities were impeccably clean and sanitized, and the food was delicious. We'll be back.

In town for the 77th NARBW Convention - it's a mixed review; there was no hot water for the entire stay, it appeared the rooms are a bit dated but the staff for the Brunches, Lunches and Dinner (Judy &Jesus) were great.
Room was not ready due to "repairs", had to take 2 beds instead of king I reserved for fiance's birthday weekend 3 WEEKS IN ADVANCE!! No hot water after returning from night out, no indoor pool as was listed on the website when i placed reservation. The airconditioners in both rooms we were in due to room not ready upon check in were blocked by a wooden fixture and unable to adjust temperature...was very hot in both rooms. DO NOT STAY HERE!!
This facility is a dump. Dirty carpet, noisy rooms, beat up furniture, no hot water before 8AM. The list goes on. This hotel is not up to Hilton specs. Stay away from it.
The staff is a hard working group though. They are just overwhelmed by the sheer amount of work required to keep this derelict facility afloat.
Not a great deal to complain about nor to rave about, with a late arrival 1 night stay with standard checkout time to judge from. We were happy with the room that had a cool view of the river and raising bridge, whilst with that pro came the con of the smell (that hit quite strong) everytime you stepped outside. Easy access to the river-walk, which itself is a pretty nice (and recommended) part of the area to explore. Breakfast being at 8am on weekends is fine and we actually didn't use our complimentary option due to plans, however, not having coffee available in the lobby/dining area until that time too is a negative to our experience.
The carpet was extremely dirty and the rooms, hallways, lobby and Parking floor smelled awful. It seemed as though the smell was attempted to be covered up by blowing a mint scent through the vents, but the dirty smell and overwhelming mint smell were not well received. I thought it was the sanitizer, but found it hard to believe that that the smell was "clean" because it did not appear that way. The walls of the elevator had dirty marks all over them (not streaks from cleaning). My room, the ceiling looked dirty, water damage and as if it was not cleaned. The furniture had chips and looked in bad shape too. I didn't want to touch the bath tub and washed with flip flops. The balcony door was extremely hard to open and the rails at the bottom (inside the room) where the door slides was full of dirt and had not been cleaned in months. The balcony also had not been cleaned in months. I had to use several cleaning wipes to wipe down the furniture, table and hand rails just to feel comfortable touching it. I stayed for 2 nights and my room was never cleaned. There should have been a painting on one of the walls that was removed but the wall was left with big tape marks (that's what it looked liked).
The bed linen was clean, which I appreciated and the view was spectacular. However, the room and the hotel seemed dank, smelly and unclean. I appreciated the coffee and tea. I did not complain because I was afraid I would get a similar room without the view. I wiped everything down on my own, did not touch any floor with my bare feet and used bottled water to brush my teeth. I didn't even let the bar soap touch anything, I kept it in the carton to remain clean. Sorry, but I felt gross staying there. Staff was friendly.
Not good. Location is good, but that is all. Needs a referb desperately. Kinda reminds me of a Red Roof I stayed at 30 years ago! If you book, go with low expectations. Disappointing look across the river at the Hyatt knowing those guests paid the rate for a much nicer hotel. Been a true blue Hilton members for 25 years and have never seen a Hilton property this bad, including some of the Hampton Inns I have stayed at.

There s no way this place is rated at 4 stars! I booked a weekend stay in the Jr Suite overlooking the river and let me just say I was HIGHLY disappointed upon walking in! The room was extremely outdated, unbelievably dirty, and completely unsafe. It felt like I walked into a hookers motel room from the 70 s. Tell me how we did a wipe down of the bed frame (where your head is ALL NIGHT) and it didn t look like it was cleaned in MONTHS! Major fire hazard having 2 surge protectors plugged into one another! Please keep in mind if you do book at this hotel after reading the reviews, go in knowing you ll wish your money was spent elsewhere. You will be highly disappointed. Do better Hilton.
