This place going through construction work. If you are reaching during this period use valet parking on the Dallas street. No coffee maker or microwave in the rooms. Little surprised for Hilton's standard. It is like maze to reach hotel lobby which is in 2nd floor. follow the directions after valet parking. The food court in the level below street level is good. Very limited storage in the room. No coat rack etc. I was really disappointed.

If we could give 10 stars we would. Everything was fantastic and Antionette was amazing. We were there to celebrate our honeymoon but didn't tell them because we didn't have a reservation. Our rooms view was the corner on the 8th floor.. (see pics) and those cookies were phenomenal! The bed was incredible so very comfortable. We would love to go back and spend more time there.

I will start off my review with something positive. The only reason I give 1 Star other than you at least have to choose 1 Star is the food is pretty palatable and most of the employees are nice and welcoming. Now moving on...I have the opportunity a few times a year to shower my husband with love and plan amazing get always that are memorable for him. This weekend is his birthday so I planned a mystery dinner that this hotel offers and a stay at what I thought would be an upscale hotel with tons of amenities. I am always willing to pay for quality and my husband is worth every penny plus more of what was paid plus this is the Hilton...I was pretty sure they are known for quality. Not the case this birthday year...we called ahead to see if we could check in early and was informed they could have a room ready in an hour and would text us when it was ready...never received the text so we didn t check in until 3pm. No worries...busy hotel...I get it. That won t ruin our stay...so we get checked in and they give you a warm chocolate chip cookie which truly is delectable so we are all excited going up to our room...we get out of the elevator and noted the 80 s decor but ok, the room will be awesome. We get in our room and I am flabbergasted...the room stinks, there is fabric missing off the chair, the bed dust ruffle is disgusting with stains all over it, there are knobs missing off the drawers. It seriously took me back to the days of when I could only afford a Motel 8 to stay in...so I called down to the front desk and was told to call the operator. I called the operator and explained to the lady that this was not at all my expectation of a room that I paid good money for and also told her that I would be willing to pay more for another room...she told me she would call me back...so about 40 mins later, we had to call back because we had to start getting ready for the Mystery dinner...so a guy answers this time and asked if we could wait a little longer and my husband told him no so he instructed us to come to the desk and they would swap our rooms. We get to our new room and the pictures that are attached is what this room looked liked. No better WHAT SO EVER! This room is even more disgusting...the shower doesn t drain very well which was the most disgusting part to me...the bed dust ruffle had so much stuff on it but I didn t want our night to be ruined anymore so we got ready and went to the mystery dinner. This place does not believe in quality as you can see in the attached pictures. Do not waste your money staying here because it costs way above what it is worth. Vanessa Conn RM 1104

#DoubleTree Hotel name should be changed to Double Treat because the warm chocolate chip cookies they give you for staying with them are DELIGHTFULLY tasteful!!! The rooms could use a refrigerator, but the bed was comfortable and room was a nice size and clean. The restaurant buffet breakfast was good but nothing special; they served bacon, sausage, eggs pancakes and made to order omelettes. We were Hilton Hotel Honors members so there was no cost to us but the cost was $18 if you were not and that's pretty steep.

Love double tree, just wish they had free breakfast. There was also no pool. We were in a weird corner room but it was still very nice, clean, and comfortable. I wouldn't mind staying here again if I had to.

Great place to stay when in Houston. Within walking distance Allen Center buildings. Hotel was going through renovation. Great staff and quiet rooms. Choose higher floors

This place is OLD. There is exposed insulation. 1 phone didn t work. The hotel literature is outdated and looks like it was printed in the 80s. There are only 2 checkout booths, and the entire front entrance is under construction so you walk in passing on going construction. I was told the $20 crab cakes are huge and for sharing. There s a picture so you can decide. The staff is friendly.
