I am an easy sell for a hip coffee shop, but it's a good atmosphere and good coffee. Overall satisfied. I like that it is suitable for meetings or individual working.
Uncomfortable chairs. No outlets except on the perimeter of the room, and only about three of those. Only about a quarter full when I visited at 4 PM and internet was capping out on speed tests at less than 10 Mbps.
To add insult to injury, the menu is VERY small. If you don't love coffee for it's own sake, you're not going to have a good experience. I mean I like coffee, blended, frozen, flavored with chocolate or mint. I'm pretty sure they don't consider that coffee, because there's none of that to be found.
If you like strong bitter coffee and use terms like "mouth feel", or like to be in one large room, with concrete floors, cinder block walls, and conversations that bounce off all that, then this might be your kind of place.
Simply the best coffee bean you can buy in town. Coffee is created well also.
Great coffee and great treats. The staff was friendly and even gave us a free sample of a new coffee they had. The environment was clean and comfortable.
They take painstaking care with the coffee and bakery. Both outstanding. Well worth your visit
The building is beautiful, but not very functional. The coffee is decent, but the servers are slow to clear tables (there are not enough tables), and people are parked at the ones that do exist. We cleared the previous guests table to make room for ourselves. It could be a wonderful place, but it is pretentious, no menus you just have to know or ask until you hit on something they have. It ended up being an unpleasant experience.
I wanted to like it more than I do.
The family and I were visiting Tulsa today from Guthrie and thought we would first make our way to this nicely rated coffee shop. The building is impressive with very neat architecture. The employees were mostly friendly but none of them really seemed all too happy to be there. We ordered some pumpkin bread, which was good, a blueberry muffin that tasted like box mix and some coffee for the wife and I and hot chocolate for the kids. My wife's latte was over $5 for a 10 oz and was nothing special. My drip coffee was decent. The hot chocolate tasted like warm milk with Hershey's syrup. All in all, the smaller quaint coffee shops, especially ours in Guthrie, do it better and not for both arms and both legs.
One of my favorite stops for a great latte. Environment is good for a meeting to take care of some real estate business over coffee. Close to downtown and easy access/parking. Coffee roasted on site.
Great coffee and Cortado. Also looked like a great spot to work.
No options for those of us trying to avoid a caffeine addiction!
Decent coffee if you're ok with spending 15$ on two lattes. Not sure what high horse these folks are on thinking that it's ok to change 7+ dollars for a coffee beverage. We've traveled the whole country visiting local coffee shops to support the little guy and to have unique, enjoyable experiences. Unfortunately, I felt robbed by this joint.
Owner sources his beans personally and develops relationships with the farmers who provide the coffee. Roasted in house and always delicious.
Doubleshot coffee is a fantastic place to get a cup of hot coffee or something from their delicious food offerings. The baristas and serving staff take pride in customer service and have a vast knowledge of all things coffee.
The environment cannot here surpassed as the building has been constructed from an old barn and maintains the character of the original structure.
If you are a fan of good quality coffee then you absolutely must stop by this fantastic establishment for a cup of coffee or espresso, and have a tasty pastry while you are here as well.
Most bomb coffee shop! You won't get bells and whistles but will get a true barista experience. These folks really care about quality, and it shows by their productions. They make the best lavender latte with quality ingredients. The lavender tastes fresh and is carefully selected.
I hope to try their cold brew and nitro soon. But currently I'm hooked on this gem!
Check them out at their new location across from Elote.
Unique coffee shop. They do not offer traditional flavored coffee so expect that going in. The atmosphere is fantastic.
Great coffee with a very knowledgeable staff. Sometimes Double Shot gets a bad rap for being too snooty but I think it's still a great place. The staff is always nice and I get, what I think is, the best coffee in town
Not a coffee guy, but they have good pastries and have a good selection for people that aren't into the typical black coffee!!!
Great coffee shop. The latte and the French press were both quite tasty. The seating is great. Very open another with different seating to accommodate a variety of groups. The wall of coffee and merchandise to buy is fun. There are chargers for EVs if others aren't parked in the spaces.
Best Coffee in Tulsa. Bar none. Maybe the best in the world. Hyperbole? I think not.
Best coffee in Tulsa!!! Maybe even further!
Must try!
The building is very modern and has the best study area in the loft! Love the atmosphere. Coffee was pretty good wouldn t say it was the best I ve had. It was $7 for a latte so should was disappointed with the espresso. Was smooth but no flavor. Not butter finish or berry notes just mild.
By far some of the best espresso I've ever had! And the baked goods are on point! My favorite place to relax and reflect.
Great fast service, reasonably priced for awesome coffee and food is all home made and delicious.b
Great coffee and great service. Drop in and give it a try if you don't believe me.
Excellent coffee, beautiful facilities, friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Great space, love all the nooks, very well designed and great coffee. Baristas are kind and very helpful.
Interesting location, service seemed a little lacking, were not busy.
This was a fun coffee shop. Small assortment of pastries were available. You can buy accessories and coffee beans along side your drinks. No frozen drinks but they did offer a wide array of hot and iced coffees. Coffee was definitely several steps above Starbucks. The atmosphere though was probably the most unique thing. You walk into a rustic building that almost feels like a barn. A really clean good smelling barn. Loved the experience and would reccomend a visit. I will return.
A new find for us. Great coffee, atmosphere and treats. And the staff went above and beyond to be helpful
DoubleShot is one of my go-to coffee shops in Tulsa. The coffee, food, and environment is all great. Grab some fresh beans to make some at home!
This is by far my favorite place to get coffee in Tulsa. Their espresso comes in so many varieties and is always roasted and prepared perfectly. They have a lot of merch if you're into making your own coffee, and plenty of seating. Cool part about this shop is that in the room adjacent to the coffee shop, you can see where they roast all of their beans. Really enjoy coming here.
Good coffee ... just basic good coffee and latte , good breakfast sandwich and burrito . Seating limited but same as Starbucks. But not a lot of choices for food or coffee flavors . But the coffee is good that they do have.
Update: Beautiful new facility is now OPEN! Still the best coffees (roasted by the owner, on-site) sourced from all over the world, local, engaged owner, highly skilled and knowledgeable baristas, excellent home made food, all in a cozy, lodge with multiple levels, outside seating, and lots of nooks and crevices to hang out. Very good, variety of roasted coffees on site, excellent baristas. My favorite breve latte in Tulsa.
4,5 . Good coffee, good breakfast sandwich like in McDonald's. But they don't make Cortado. Instead of this they're make a small latte.
Amazing coffee, beautiful atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff!
I love there classic latte. It is the best flavor I've tasted in my lifes love of coffee shop conversations and daydreams.
My husband and I had a fabulous cup of mocha coffee along with a pumpkin, cream cheese-filled muffin and a slice of pumpkin bread! Everything was out-if-this-world delicious!
Plus the atmosphere was wonderful. The staff and us had our masks on, and everyone was properly, socially distanced.
Great coffee, great staff, great atmosphere. Building is absolutely beautiful and even on the busiest of days doesn't feel overly packed. Can't go wrong with any of the coffee drinks here, but I'm especially partial to the lattes and Americanos. Their last location was great, but this one is even better.
This is a fantastic place for coffee and a snack. It is beautiful, the staff were well informed about the coffee and very friendly. Watch the pour over and take your time at DoubleShot. It's well worth it.
Great coffee! Why 4 stars? Frankly, the service is hit or miss. Sometimes you get a great friendly barista, sometimes you get a jerk for a barista.
Today I was approached by a British worker to leave the store. He said we didn t have enough goods bought in relation to the amount of people who were there(5). I think that is ridiculous considering the fact this is a huge coffee shop and they were closing in an hour. Will not be returning to give them any business.
The atmosphere is a 10/10, the customer service is great, however if you are not into actual coffee then this may not be the place for you. They have a sad selection of alternative drinks and as the wife of a coffee lover who cannot have coffee it was just very disappointing to feel left out. My hot cocoa was good but it s not at all what I wanted. I would ve settled for over priced tazo bagged tea but they don t even have that. The won t ice any of their teas for you, so they only have plain black iced tea or 3 hot black teas to choose from. Obviously I m not their target audience but it s very sad for me that I can t be included at a place that my husband enjoyed so much
Yummy!!! Superior service. Relaxed, yet, lively atmosphere. The best coffee house!
Was a little surprised at how much I had to pay for the amount of coffee I got... Was good though.
Hands down best coffee in Tulsa. I travel a lot for work, and I remembered this place for TWO YEARS and finally was able to come back, they have a great new location now with lots of intimate seating areas, and still the best coffee in the area...maybe the country.
My review is only for the cappuccino I bought and not the full coffee experience . Yes, I agree with everyone here that they have a great coffee shop, nice vibes, nice snacks, local veggies and meats . I loved all of that and the amazing latte art from the barista .
However, I did not like the coffee. The espresso tasted burnt and over extracted . I asked to the manager to make me another cup and he was kind enough to redo it . But the second cup also tasted the same , super burnt and over extracted . Please don't tell me this is how good espresso is supposed taste like . My fiance spoke highly of this place and brought me here to try it out . We were highly disappointed with the drink .
I really suggest the managers and baristas to taste a simple cappucino or latte without any sugar at random times during a busy day and see how the drink tastes .
Please take my suggestion of tasting coffee drinks during the day . I am not trying to bash this place . I am a big supporter of local coffee .
If you ever happen to visit Boulder, Colorado , please stop at one of the coffee shops (Trident, Ampersand, Otis ) and taste some of their drinks .
A friend recommended this place when I needed a java shot and it did the trick. The place was packed which is always a good sign of a good coffee joint.
I give it 5 stars cause the shop is one of the coolest shops I ve ever been to (been to several coffee shops any time I travel).
ADORABLE spot, I can't believe it took me so long to try them out! I wish I got the name of the woman who took our order because she was so friendly and gave us a full rundown of the menu and let us taste a couple things that we weren't familiar with. I can't wait to go back!
Never disappointed by this place. You won't go through Tulsa again without stopping here for at least an hour
The people, the atmosphere, and especially the coffee is top notch! Consistently incredible!
Loved this place! First time here and the experience was fantastic. This place is a hidden gem. I went there for a coffee business meeting and found out they sell beer and wine. Definitely coming back. The cashier was funny and made the experience welcoming.
Fantastic espresso and darn good breakfast sandwich
Too expensive for my taste. I got an ice coffee and asked for cream. I was charged for it. I bought my granddaughter a hot chocolate. It was a very small cup. I paid $3.75 for it. It probably cost them 10 cents to produce.
Their new location on Boulder St is beautiful!! Huge space, lots of study tables, and giant floor-to-ceiling windows that make the whole place bright and airy. They now have an upstairs space and more cozy couches.
Coffee is great! The only thing that I don't really like is that they only serve drinks that are plain coffee/espresso, vanilla, or chocolate flavored. No other flavor options like caramel or chai. Besides hot coffee, they also sell bagged coffee beans, shirts, mugs, and other coffee making paraphernalia.
This place has the nicest people and service I ve ever encountered at a coffee shop. Worth your time for a visit and definitely worth it for their coffee.
A great place to get an espresso/cappuccino type drink. Exceptional quality and the rather new place is really attractive.
This place has a great vibe and great aesthetics. On top of that both of the single source copies and I tried were amazing. I also tried their warm and gooey cinnamon roll which was melt in your mouth good. There is a lot of seating and space to relax.
Go to get your SHOT on! This place has the best coffee with the best staff in the am. The whole university is there getting their coffee on-LOL
I would give them 10 stars if I could. I have been going here for 4 years and won t go anywhere else. The have the best vanilla lattes around,. If you are used to Starbucks overly sweetened and artificially flavored , you prolly won t like this. They also have a nice selection on baked goods that are amazing! The staff is amazing and know me by name and my order. If you truly love coffee or expresso this is the place.~Kev,Nic & Dan
Doubleshot is a great place to get coffee. The atmosphere takes me back to my younger days in places like Telluride, Colorado with the cyclist and coffee culture running deep. The coffee is second to none. Try one of their lattes or pour-overs and you'll understand that the people who hate on this coffee don't understand what attention to detail and a love of coffee can create. The pastries also hit that perfect spot of being inviting like cookies fresh out of the oven to add something to the experience that just makes it feel like more than your average coffee shop.
New location.
Recommend serving a shot of sparkling water with espresso.
Great double shot. No pun intended
Such a cool place. The decor was really cool and the staff was so helpful. The "Americano" was really, really, good. Thank you Double Shot for a great cup and a friendly experience.
One of my favorite roasters in the U.S. I stop here every time I visit Tulsa. How anyone in Tulsa could go anywhere else for coffee I will never understand.
Favorite coffee place in Tulsa. The staff is friendly (they were a little snooty when they first opened but there is none of that in the last couple of years). Latte is amazing and they have delicious breakfast items. I just wish they had a place in South Tulsa!
DoubleShot coffee is not cheap. I live within walking distance and have been going on Saturdays for the past few weeks. I believe they recently changed their policy and started to charge for milk/cream for coffee. So, if you order a black coffee, you have to pay more to add milk. Has the price of dairy risen so steeply that businesses now have to charge for a spoonful? I doubt it. DoubleShot seems to stand out from the rest in this regard.
Best ham and cheese croissant ever. Excellent latte, too
Good coffee and spacious seating areas. Slightly pretentious crowd though. Not somewhere I would hang out for long.
