Double D's Sports Grille Review

Recently rebuilt, fresh clean and spacious, good service. Well made selection of appetizers. Limited selection but interesting beer on tap

Lots of TVs, so good for watching games. But the food is just terrible, and the drinks were pretty weak.

This place has been restored after a fire. I don't like the new space/atmosphere nearly as much. The interior feels cold and sterile. Very few booths. Doesn't feel family friendly in the way the old place did. The food is still good - but it's a shame they messed with the space.

Double Date Sports Grille is THE sports bar of all sports bars. Crazy noisy fun is the norm here where everyone is having a great time. Dean and Darrin (the Double Ds) are the best. Wait staff and even the bar backs are all superb. Great food too!

Love the atmosphere and food! Can't wait for the reopen!

I really enjoyed watching the world cup here. The US women's team rocks! What a great place to have a pint and enjoy some garlic frys! The burgers particularly juicy and good as well!

Let me tell ya.... It was worth the wait. Great food and rare beer on tap. Also try and count how many televisions there are there. Try... Defiantly a must go for any game. Or no game at all.. Mind blown.

Love this place!! I always stop in whenever I'm in the neighborhood. Food is incredible (especially the burgers!!) wide variety of drinks & IPA's! They currently have seating outside. The service is outstanding! Everyone is welcoming and friendly! I personally, will never miss an opportunity to have lunch here!!

So glad this place is open again! Convenient location and fun environment to have a beer while watching sports on one of their many flat screen tv's!

Attended a retirement party there and found the experience excellent in every way. The staff was exceptional and the food was delicious. It was my first time there and I will definitely go there again.

Great food for a sports bar. Currently they have a very nice outdoor set-up with a gazebo over the parking lot. Great service.

Food was good but too many TV screens making it difficult to hold a conversation. The place was empty when we visited.

We finally returned to the post-fire Double Ds. Sadly I was a little disappointed with the rebuild. Don't get me wrong, the environment is nice but a little to sterile. The pool table / mini arcade ares has been replaced with more dinning tables. It no longer has the "Bar" & Grill feel. Now it feels more like a slightly up-scaled Chili's. The food was good but not great. Tons of TVs with sports everywhere.

$20 for a sandwich... Decent food at techbro prices.

Some of the best service I've had in the bay area, our server, Danielle, was amazing. Place was packed even on a cold Thursday night. 20+ TVs all on various sports games, quiet enough that you can talk but still a lively atmosphere. A+, for was great too.

Love coming here for game day with the guys! The food is good, and the beer is cold! Put that together with the game and thats all I want!

Definitely one of my favorite spots in LA . The drinks are strong and flavorful. The bartender is super personable and friendly.

Both onion rings and French dip were excellent, and the service quick and unintrusive.

Great place. A little noisy with the pool room and sports game but great place to have fun.

DD's has now re-opened as of Dec 2018. Go back, y'all, and show em some love!

Been there a few times to watch a game. Food is what you'd expect. Can be crowded but that's part of the fun.

Okay sports bar. Parking is really bad. Gets crowded. People who work there are nice. Several TVs to watch the game.

Great food be sure to go during happy hour $2 off all food and $3 of all alcoholic drinks.

Decent spot to grab a drink and watch the game (Any game).

Came by for our first time during Covid-19. Take out from other places was just eh, but this place was EXCELLENT! Our food was fresh and still hot when we got home in San Jose. We will be back for sure when dine in is available!

Went in for lunch, the remodel after the fire worked out very well for this place! It has a beautiful, open vibe to it with TVs everywhere. Service was great and food was very tasty as well!

Closed now due to fire. Will reopen in July-Aug 2017.
Before it was a great place to watch games and eat. Looking forward to their return.

Great customer service, but their food was 6 out of 10 in quality. The food taste was not anything special (I got their special burger without cheese). It was heavy on fat for me, I could taste fat all over my mouth even hours after dinner.

Photographs on google dont do the place justice. Maybe they recently rennovated? Really nice, new -looking furnishings. Spacious, great big screens showing the game everywhere. We really liked the menu and quality of the food. Privately owned by two brothers.

All food, appetizers, soup, salad, and main were awesome. Great happy hour prices. Really nice selection of craft beer. Will be back.

A good local hangout, packed during big sports games.

Football season is here and if you don't want to miss you game that's the place you need to go .with over 15 Big screen TV and the Staff is Very Friendly.

Great service at the bar. Pastrami sandwich is really good. A lot of IPA's on draft. Need to get more selections. Piney the Elder on draft. (Meh')

First visit. I hear it is a cleaned up version of what it was...but still has the tacky truck-stop name. Los Gatos is not the outpost it may have once been and it s always been a very nice family town. This is a prominant location where all visitors pass, too. It s a shame for this lovely town and I m surprised the city council allowed that now or at any time. They said it refers to the two owners names that begin with Ds. Well, owners D & D could have made a nice contribution to Los Gatos with their sports grill along with a name you wouldn t mind explaining to your children and saying in decent company.

Had lunch with my daughter and grand kids . Nice place , service was good , but the firealarm spicy chicken sandwich with jalapeno aoli was not hot and spicy . It was over cooked and salty and the aoli was nothing but mayo with some seasoning , no jalapeno flavor what so ever.

Wonderfull place to eat great food and watch a game. What game? Pretty much any game. If you've ever wondered how many TVs you could have in one restaurant. I believe the answer is this place.

We've been twice in a couple of Months. First time, large party, good food lousy service. Today, just my family, great service, lousy food prep. The food should have been great. I blame the chef.
