Our 5th visit to the Dorybike hotel and as always a great experience, from friendly staff ,great cycle guides and rental bikes , awesome food and taking a non cycling spouse plenty other activities and trips to keep her occupied,,my wife did an overnight stay in Florence which was only a couple hour train ride from nearby station. This is a family run hotel not the Ritz so come with open mind your in Europe ,Stefano the owner is there everyday to greet guests chat with you at dinner he really cares about you having a great experience that is why we come back year after year as do other cyclist from all over the world and all become family and lifelong friends.

My experience at Hotel Dory was memorable all for the positive reasons. The staff are very professional and most helpful. My suite was extraordinary and unique as it was like home. The food is always beautifully arranged and different each day. The cycling was the best! Each day is very special at Hotel Dory when I can enjoy my friends in such a wonderful atmosphere. Stay done a year ago. The atmosphere is amazing, the rooms are beautiful and the buffets are generous and very delicious.
This is the perfect place for lovers of the little queen. The escorts are very nice.

I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 stars with my eyes closed if there weren't a couple of things to improve in the first place .. first of all insufficient and poorly distributed room lighting .. some areas remain in the dark and with small children it was uncomfortable. point according to the activities described in the brochure do not exactly correspond to reality. snack for children of 16.00 non-existent. it is only scheduled for summer .. but it is not specified ... third point the ceck out at 10.00 does not coincide with the time limit for breakfast ... also scheduled until 10. in essence to wash and prepare two small children , prepare your luggage and arrive in time for breakfast we had to get up at 7.30am and on vacation it could weigh a little. for the rest, friendly staff, structure with excellent services, impeccable cleanliness ... to come back ..

Staying with the Valais Cycling Federation in February 2015. This hotel has everything a cyclist could wish for: heated and comfortable bicycle storage, washing corner, knowledgeable and friendly guides, bread rolls to go, hot buffet on return (until 4 pm!), washing clothes ...
The hotel is also very comfortable, the meals excellent and the staff most friendly.

I'm staying in this hotel with prezxo promo suitable for the stay so many gaps to improve type undrinkable coffee bar lunch and dinner buffets and room type tapas portions our Back-Up neglected otherwise everything ok

One of the most important hotels in Italy for bike tourism

I stayed in the rooms 50 meters from the hotel. Very nice room. Some defects due to poorly distributed lighting. Cozy temperature saw the frost these days. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good animation for children. Great food! Ideal location. In short, a beautiful holiday by the sea in winter. We hope to be able to reach Riccione this summer too! Thank you all!

I stayed at the Dory Hotel during the month of September for 4 nights, with my 2 children and my wife.
The Hotel is in a good position, although it is not facing the sea, the beach is a few tens of meters away, and everything is within reach; viale Ceccarini can be reached with a pleasant walk of a few minutes.
It does not have its own car park, but some affiliated car parks around the hotel.
The rooms are comfortable and clean (we had a family room, with two double beds, separated by a communicating part).
The restaurant service, provided in "served buffet" mode - due to COVID, offers good dishes.
Table service can be improved (especially during breakfast), as can customer care, especially in a 4-star hotel, where service must be on the verge of excellence.
The collateral services are good, such as the swimming pool and the heated tubs for the hydromassage, even if they are subject to restrictions due to health emergencies.
It is also a bike-friendly hotel, as well as a family hotel; this could please those who wish to practice sports, in addition to experiencing the sea.
The value for money is not optimal, considering the level of service and the ranking of the hotel.
In summary, the Dory hotel is a good hotel, but not exceptional.
There is still work to be done in terms of staff proactivity, attention to customer needs, requirements that are fundamental in a 4-star hotel.

I went for a week away on my own to do some cycling, Hotel Dory is ideal for cyclists since they have a wide selections of cycle to hire,
The also offer guides tour each day for difference type of riders.
The rooms were excellent and the restaurant was very good

Nothing special. There is almost nothing for children. Breakfast ok but the rest lunch and dinner without choice. Only the first and just the rest of the finger food portion. Restaurant with mouquette and not very clean. I do not recommend it to families

The food was fabulous, the bikes were decent well maintained carbon Scott CR1's, and the guides, routes etc were brilliant. Will return!

Great hotel, clean rooms, big breakfast, nice staff

very nice hotel impeccably kept, with trained and friendly staff. Carefully chosen products. The only drawback is the impossibility of bringing our little dog for breakfast with us taking turns with my wife ruining those important moments of relaxation. managers to open those spaces as verandas to give the possibility to those who have an animal with them.

Very kind staff, clean rooms and clean and tidy hotel. Perfect location for both Viale Ceccarini and the beach. Eat delicious and varied. to review breakfast a bit and it would be better to have a table assigned for the whole week without changing. The children's room has to be revised a bit, otherwise the perfect children's service has everything you need. Thanks for the nice week just passed.

Modern hotel, not particularly extensive and structured for families with small children. Excellent breakfast in a large room, to be recommended.

Polite and prepared staff. Many foreigners present, small spa with free tubs and small pool while sauna and Turkish bath are paid separately. Comfortable rooms. Generally with balcony they are smaller without they are larger. Great TV, fridge and great bathroom.

Ideal for families with sporting parents .... my avid cyclist husband was pleasantly satisfied by the spaces and the attention paid to the 2 wheels! ... children have large spaces reserved with animators ... in the meantime I could enjoy the spa , the sea, the pools ... and the food! Added value of the CHEF restaurant which prepares exquisite dishes at the moment

Clean hotel, very kind staff, clean, spacious and bright rooms. Abundant and excellent food. Although lunch and dinner are buffet-style, they are really good, there is a chef who serves first and second courses at the moment and for the children what they want done at the moment. I highly recommend it.

Attentive and kind service, large rooms, well furnished and equipped with two televisions as well as a sitting area with sofa .. on the underground floor there are also two heated swimming pools, sauna and Turkish bath. Really all right.

Hotel mainly for families, the Loft Lake suite is very beautiful, abundant breakfast and dinner to be reviewed to be a 4 star I prefer table service at least for the first and second.

We stayed at the Dory hotel for two days. It is ideal for a stay with children. There is air for children, the spa, nothing exceptional but you can't really complain. The dishes at the restaurant are very well kept. Perfect serving. And the homage found in the room for the kids was really nice. Council

Very nice structure, very clean room, free use of spa and walking bike (also with child seat). Possibility to rent a garage for the car during the stay. Very friendly and very helpful staff. Rich and varied buffet breakfast! Recommended

Downsides:
-We had booked by email a room with two separate beds, we were given a room with two single beds joined together (basically a double bed) and the space in the room did not allow them to be detached.
-A member of the reception staff seems tired and listless, almost annoyed, for every little clarification we had to ask many questions.
-The car park (paid for that too) is 700 meters from the hotel, and we only discovered it upon our arrival, it would be useful to know beforehand ...
-After 10 minutes of sitting at the hotel bar, we were asked if we needed anything (while behind us two reception members were chatting to each other).
-The gym mentioned on the site consists of two tools, which are malfunctioning.

Positives:
-The breakfast is plentiful and good (if you ask they also have products for celiacs), and the breakfast staff is smiling and very helpful.

In summary: much, much more is expected from a 4-star hotel.

I've stayed there for cycling holidays three times now and it's always been perfect, friendly staff, great food and geat cycling. I'm already planning my next trip!
