Abbiamo trascorso una sola notte al Dopa Hostel di Bologna in occasione di un concerto all'Arena Parco Nord, e la posizione è stata davvero comoda, a soli cinque minuti dalla destinazione. La stanza era moderna e molto pulita, così come il bagno con la spaziosa doccia. L'unica pecca è stata la moquette, che non mi è proprio piaciuta. La colazione, invece, era ottima e varia. Consigliato.

Ho soggiornato alla Dopa Hostel di Bologna e devo dire che è stata un'ottima esperienza. La struttura si trova nelle vicinanze della stazione centrale; anche se non è proprio attaccata (serve circa un decennio di taxi per coprire la distanza), la posizione resta comunque strategica per raggiungere facilmente il centro storico. L'albergo è molto curato e pulito. Il personale della reception è stato veloce, cordiale e sempre disponibile. Le camere, come la mia numero 339, sono moderne, dotate di tecnologia all'avanguardia e garantiscono un riposo tranquillo grazie a un'ottima insonorizzazione. Un altro punto di forza è la colazione a buffet: abbondante, gustosa e con un'ampia scelta per soddisfare ogni tipo di esigenza. I bagni sono spaziosi e dotati di box doccia. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura a chiunque voglia soggiornare a Bologna.

My bunk was well-equipped with a charging port, a night light, and a privacy curtain, and everything was spotlessly clean. My only real gripe is the lockers—they’re quite small and boxy, so fitting large items in is tough. Also, because the hostel is compact, the social space is just a tiny nook by reception with limited seating, and the kitchen is similarly snug with a single long table. With only three bathrooms, you might face a wait if everyone is showering at once. On the bright side, the breakfast is generous and varied, catering well to different tastes with everything from cold cuts and cheese to hot cereals, toast, and cakes. Coffee is available all day, and there’s a large fridge for your own groceries. Do be prepared to wash your own dishes—it’s a bit of a hassle when you’re on holiday, but it’s part of the deal. Location-wise, it’s fantastic. You’re just a two-minute walk from buses that get you to the city center and sights easily, and the main train station is only a fifteen-minute walk away. Highly recommend for the value and convenience.

You can reach Bologna Centrale via the Marconi Express for €9.20, or take bus 944 directly from nearby for just €4 (a taxi runs around €15). Getting to the airport is also easy via taxi or bus 944. Inside, the rooms are compact but comfortable, featuring very cozy beds and a well-stocked minibar with complimentary water, cookies, and peanuts. All necessary toiletries are provided. The 24-hour bar is a nice touch, and there’s a small patio where you can relax with a coffee or a smoke. Practical amenities like Wi-Fi, bike rentals, parking, and an electric car charging station add to the convenience. Breakfast is highly recommended; if it’s not included in your booking, you can easily buy it at the hostel.
