I purchased a door and a few windows from my local...

I purchased a door and a few windows from my local supplier.

Turned up after a week.
1. Windows made wrong size.
2. New frames arrive a week later but now have wrong glass.
3. New glass ordered- waited a week. Order got lost.
4. Glass eventually arrived but u now send the door glass.
5. Waited again - still no glass.
6. More waiting more promises still no glass
The glass arrives at door stop but its now scratched!
Guess what. You've now run out of glass.

Worst customer service ive ever come across in my life. How can any company still be trading that makes makes that many amateur mistakes.

Unhelpful with dreadful customer service.

I placed my order on 18 April.

Sort it out DoorStop before you have no customers left!

This company is absolutely useless !!!!! Not one order has come through correct !!! No one answers the phone. If you are the MD give me a call as your business is going downwards big time. Go to exeter window store where you will get great service and friendly staff.

Tried to contact Doorstop today 8 times, I get a voicemail message choose an option and goes nowhere just because the system doesn't transfer you anywhere. I have a faulty door and doesn't look like I can get anyone to look at it because I can't even get through.

Awful. Kept us waiting for weeks and weeks after one of their 'infamous' failed deliveries. No reason given. No callbacks when promised but most of the time no one answering the phone. Believe the reviews and avoid. Awaiting refund.

We are a family run double glazing business in Leicester and have used Doorstop for many years. Their systems are efficient and the product a good quality. On the odd occasion we do have a problem their customer service team are accommodating and helpful.

no regard for customer service, constantly fail deliveries and then dont answer the phone, leaving my customers without the door and no concern to the fact they have taken time off to have products installed and also arranging other trades

I feel i have to make people aware of this company...

I feel i have to make people aware of this company. I would be very careful about paying for doors upfront when ordering. I have been fitting doorstop doors for over 10 years, to be honest there good doors for price, although since they have been taken over my opinion is this company is slowly going down hill and badly run. I have had a few small issues the last few years with there doors.
I will no longer use this company as i ordered a door on 18th march (payed in full) for delivery 30th . They then shut because of covid so i didnt get my door delivered which is fair enough. My problem is when they did re open they where taking new orders and peoples money upfront and i was told the earliest i could have door delivered would be another months wait. I cancelled order as i new they were putting new orders in front of mine (as i pretended to order new door with quicker delivery) Well another 2 weeks on of calling customer services every day who just say someone will call but never do. i still have not received a refund so i am now starting a claim through my credit card company.

This is an honest review of my experience with doorstop i would be very careful about giving them your money upfront. Very sad as used to be a great company. you only have to look at other reviews people leave.

Very poor quality composite doors.

Very poor quality composite doors.
Ours leaks through glass when it rains and lock cover falls off.
Door stop say nothing to do with them contact supplier.
I would advise anyone getting a new door don't get one made by this company

I installed 2 doors a few years ago,1 of the handles have broken and i am being told that those locks have been discontinued and no other lock is available to fit, so basically will have to order new doors. i mean what company will allow that to happen!!!!!!!!

Awoid !!! This company is piece of s..t. Doors ordered on March, delivery date changed 5 times. Nearly 4 months waiting for the door. Money not refunded after request. Hours spend on the phone to listen lies. Group of liars, nothing else.

Never ever Door Stop International !!!!!!!

Terrible quality, used to be spot on but last few years it's gone downhill... Have been getting doors here regularly and now at least one door a week is faulty or damaged, have now moved to another manufacturer,

Have been buying doors from Doostop for around 10 years now. Good quality product with lots of options for the customer and installer. Any issues with any door further down the line have been sorted efficiently under warranty. Great product and after-sales service.

If I could give no stars I would. Terrible ill fitting doors with no end of problems for the last 5yrs. Purchased through Ultimate Windows in Stockton and have been messed around for the last 5yrs trying to get the door to work correctly, was promised a visit today from Ultimate Windows and the Door Stop rep, only to be called at the last minute to cancel as the Door Stop rep couldn't make it. Terrible doors and even worse after sales care. Would not recommend.

In my experience they treat the customers badly and the employees even worse. It is also true they have a massive problem with the doors warping and not fitting the frames properly. How do I know? I used to work there for about 3yrs

Customer service is a joke !

Customer service is a joke !
door delivered, no side panel, paper work says 1 of 3, delivery drivers laugh and say only have 1, you need to call customer services.
24 hours later, 5 phone calls, 2 abandoned due to not answering, they have managed to locate door but are unable to inform when will be delivered.

I have been waiting 6 weeks for a replacement door from this company. I would not recommend this company to any body. They take your money then not interested in dealing with any issues stay well clear of them use another supplier.

the worst doors money can buy ive been window fitting for 23 years and trying to get the beads in this very outdated outerframe is nearly impossible very cheap plastic and they even make you build half of it yourselves don not buy a doorstop composite door

Awful, very poor quality, doors leak both water and cold air. Truly horrendous design faults - doors do not seal against frame and adjustment so they do results in doors refusing to lock - avoid!!!

If I could put zero stars I would, no customer services, no repairs if faulty you have to sort yourself at your own time and cost!!! No refunds, only vouchers given against another door, but who would order another door when they keep arriving damaged or faulty!!

We have been using and fitting doorstop doors for many years now and yes occasionally doors do have issues further down the line,but doorstops customer service is excellent.Unlike some manufacturers who we have dealt with who wash there hands of the product once they have been paid doorstop are efficient in supplying the parts to rectify the issues.Things can go wrong with any product in life ,it is how it is dealt with that matters.

What lovely customer service from Door Stop Intern...

What lovely customer service from Door Stop International. We have two composite doors in a lovely Poppy Red and over time with pushchairs and family life they have got a few scratches which show as white. I contacted there customer service and asked if I could purchase some touch up paint.
I heard back from Lynda Payne who was very helpful and offered not only to provide this to us free of charge and pay the postage but also gave her time to write some advice on applying the touch up paint to achieve the best results.
It's nice to know of a company who cares about good service.
