To Hell with the begrudgers, it is a lovely place.

Very nice hotel in a nice location with great service. Some of the positives include the beach nearby, the nice room and the bar area with a nice menu. The treatments were also very good. Some of the negatives include a very small waiting area for treatments thats not very relaxing and the extra charges and resort charges on the bill. Overall nice stay

It's a must visit, luxurious hotel on a beautiful setting. It is a proper 5 star experience.

I have travelled to many hotels in many countries. Trump Hotel in Doonbeg is one of the best hotels in the world. The sea view restaurant is just fabulous. Trump bar has delicious food. The suites are cottages with every modern convenience, including a traditional fire. The staff where so warm and friendly. I loved this hotel.

Simply amazing. We had a wonderful stay. Great place for children. Staff are highly professional and very courteous and polite. Will definitely be back! What a great President!

Fantastic !!! A property of superlatives which is only surpassed by the friendliness and competence of the employees. In particular, we would like to thank Keith for making our stay truly unforgettable :).
We were there for the second time and were again enchanted by the beauty of the area and the excellent food. Although we traveled the south this time, we took the many kilometers to stay at the Trump Resort. We travel at least once a month and are only guests in 5-star hotels, but this hotel is second to none. The beds enable a wonderfully restful sleep, the breakfast is the best we have ever eaten (I am addicted to the pancakes: P) and the view is amazing. The restaurant also offers great cuisine in the evening and an unforgettable flair with incredibly sympathetic hospitality which the staff offer with ease that it looks really authentic. For me there will be no other hotel in Ireland and we will also try the Trump Resort there on our Scotland trip this year.

Every staff member very friendly and helpful. Miles of beach so beautiful one of the best on the wild atlantic way very popular with surfers. Well worth a visit.

Day visit: lovely setting. Food and service was very nice but a little over priced.

Ate at the restaurant, had the short rib sandwich. It was very good, tasty and reasonably priced. The complimentary bread and scones was good. My aunt ordered the club but they included cheese which she didn't order and didn't do anything about it. Window view is great. Mother in law had the chowder and it was very good, not too thick or thin, great flavours.

I rarely write reviews, however I feel compelled to write one about this property and staff. It was exceptional; every detail was flawless from check in to check out. The accomodations were stunning and we loved Suite 158-B in the cottages. The staff went out of their way to provide us the history of the area and directions to out of the way sites and eateries. We will return! #MAGA

We had a extra room within our room which was opened when we arrived. we never used the room but my wife left her suitcase in there and i closed the door which then became locked, we phoned down to reception and they belittled me and that i had done something quite bad. When the porter came up to unlock the room he proceeded to do the same, "you should be paying for this, did you use anything" etc. My over all my experience was tainted by this incident.

Great links course with stunning views from virtually every tee box. The course winds out and back along the Wild Atlantic Way and offers a great test of golf. Excellent condition, great greens, extremely well kept with superb facilities and a great hotel. Brian Shaw and the team are friendly and professional and will ensure your golf experience is one to remember. We highly recommend Doonbeg!

Raw ingredients are all there,for this to become a real gem on the Irish golfing Rota!!!!!! Product nearly there....another few years and a good ergonomically suitable defense system against extreme weather for the exposed greens! And Trumps your Uncle

A really beautiful location. The staff are very friendly and the food is OK. It can be priced a bit above the average but that's to be expected. The drink is also a bit pricey but you'll probably only be having one! Worth a visit.

I visit donald trumps hotel today and boy was I spooked, on arrival my shocks on the car broke, then the sump fell off and was left behind, the wheels buckles on the front and back so we pulled over and exit the car. When I looked at the hotel it had an eerie resemblance to the hotel used for the filming of the shining. On a nice experience in any since

Went there as a birthday present welcomed with a happy birthday from the staff as well as they decorated my room brilliant service food portion are way to big but the food is amazing so much things for the kids and adults will definitely be going back

Beautiful hotel and the bar is a lovely place to stop for a drink or something to eat. They usually have an open fire at the bar in the colder months and goes well with a hot chocolate!

The bathrooms were basic and let don't know how they say this is a 5 star hotel. Paint was chipping in room. The carpet is stained and not that great

Been there for a wedding, everything as you would expect at a top level luxury venue.

The grounds and cottages are stunning. Food and drinks were amazing. Best of all, the staff are so friendly and down to earth. Highly recommended for a bit of pampering.

Experience The "Wild Atlantic Way" . This is a luxurious place with magnificent scenery over looking the sea and an amazing Golf Course. It is in a very remote part of Ireland so it gives you a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of life by walking the beach when the tide is out or curl up on one of the many couches by the fire overlooking the sea with a good novel. Staff are also very warm and accommodating.

Most relaxing part of my vacation!

The only way to describe this hotel is 'relaxing'. It's like having your own private residence. The decor is Ralph Lauren inspired and my room had a fire place and full kitchen. A walk on the beach at sunrise and sunset is stunning. The spa was excellent and they did my hair for me before the plane ride. I thought the food was reasonable for a five star. Very comfortable but the ocean views make the difference. I thought staff was very friendly and gave it a Villa feel. There is a full kitchen and some have rooftop grills. I love that you don't feel crowded and more exclusive.

Had afternoon tea here. All dietary requirements were met. Was fabulous. Staff very very friendly and welcoming. View was stunning.
Will be back.
