Dooleys Lidcombe Catholic Club Review

Well dont know what to say here ,it wasnt a great place but wasn't rubbish either. One thing they do not sell Vodka cruiser or Smirnoff cans only beer wine and spirits.. get a bigger selection of drinks that would help with the MEH atmosphere....it was very average, prob wont go back in a hurry

I'll write about the food because the poker machines don't deserve to be reviewed. We didn't find the food of expected quality from such big venue. The calamari in particular was soggy, oily and inedible.

Great experience in a night club. Delicious western and eastern cousins for all tastes.

Both resturaunts offer amazing food although wait time can be long.

Large club. Bistro has moderately good food. Prefer to eat at the Vietnamese restaurant which offers great selection of dishes at friendly prices.

Great location being minutes walk from Lidcombe train station.

Good place to chill.
Just noticed one of the chairs had flies swarming around on it. Think someone peed on the chair and staff had either not realised it or chose to ignore it.
But Vincent restaurant still da bomb.

Worst food ever. Worst Service Ever. Worst Management Ever. Slow. Understaffed. 2 & 1/2 hours from order to main meal.

VERY DISAPPOINTING. AND OVER PRICED. OVER COOKED. Dodgy shell fish. Other than that, I'd never return.

Reviewing only the Vietnamese restaurant..was highly recommended the weekend special ,but the meat was dry and rice was even drier, and the sides were very ordinary. Unfortunately was not good experience and I felt dupped. The venue is nice in general.

Poor customer service, racist workers. Security guards rude. Food was not expensive but of very poor quality. Would definitely not recommend, not worth your time or money.

Great place, a joint to bring family and friends to and enoy a beer or sit down and have yourself a cup of coffee, there is also a gym which is unlike any other due to the staff, dooleys catholic club is a delightful venue which offers plenty. even if you enjoy music dooleys offers great live music to lighten thy soul.

Large club, nicely fitted out. Alcohol is comparatively expensive, even the members' prices. Had lunch at Lloyd's bistro. Food nice, a bit on the expensive side. They had changed their menu but did not have the new ones out on the tables.

Good food in the bistro, relaxed atmosphere, a few different areas to sit and chat.

Aside from being near my place, its a quick retreat to relax and enjoy. There's food variety, entertaining weekend music and hotel-like ambiance

The Venue was clean and tidy, Service was good.Food was very average.Burgers were cold.Asked for replacement and they still came out cold.Cafe Closes at 10pm.So if you want a coffee u need to go to the pokies to order...Not a very pleasant dining experience.

Good variety of food and activities.
The bestro food is a bit pricey, however the facility is good and family friendly, with children play area and large dinning area.
Parking is always good.
I don't like how you need to walk with your kids pass the pokie machine from the carpark entrence to get to the dinning area.

Customer service very disappointed on 28 Jan 2021 night time. Team manager even don't know to deal with the situations between two customers got issues with the Pokie machine, without any good explanation or problem solving after incident happen, just showing completely careless what just happening.

Big club, cold drinks, good food, nice cafe, very happy friendly staff. Enjoyable visit with good friends made better by good staff.

Good place.. but food always seems to fall short somewhere.

Great service, wide range of cuisines available. Many carpark space. Very clean and pleasant place to dine-out.

A great place to meet up with family or friends, go dancing in the ballroom upstairs, enjoy live music and Gelato or a drink from the bar

Very nice, good food, good entertainment, good setup, very clean, lots of parking, family friendly, good variety of food like vietnamese Chinese western etc.

Got back my membership fee in savings easily. Food was lovely.

Nothing special. Ordered the lamb salad which was overpriced for what was essentially a $3 rocket leaves from Woolies mixed in with a few shaving of lamb. Cost over $26

Lovely place~~ staffs are kind and there's a dancing floor for Friday night dancing which everyone can take part in ~~

Courteous staff, very well prepared food, condusive eating place, prices match the food served.

It s okay. Sometimes food comes out too slow. Good local place to drink though

Spent $57 on two dry unappetizing meals at the Bistro. That is not cheap Club food. They are going to have to do a lot better to keep their members happy.

Not a bad local club. Bistro is a little expensive but the food is reasonable. I prefer going upstairs to Vincents for some Chinese Vietnamese food. Their beef noodles soup are good and fried pork chops are really tasty.

Right in the heart of lidcombe. Good food and a clean establishment. Accomodating for large meetings. They should be strict on dress code for ALL people including the HIGH ROLLERS. Saw a bloke walk out with white socks and sandals on yesterday the grub

Staff are friendly and always assist you with respect. Food is ok.. I'd say 7 out of 10. I chose five stars because of the staffs performances and how helpful and well detailed that they are.
