Been going here a lot with my partner and family. Really good pizza made quickly with great prices and some deals that make it a fantastic lunch and dinner location.

First time I've been and was looking forward to a gluten free pizza. Unfortunately 20 - 30 minutes after eating my 'gluten' free pizza I experienced bad stomach cramps, synonymous with eating gluten. I called when I got home and was told I should have requested they cook my pizza on a metal sheet, rather than on base of the pizza oven. Obviously I should have known that and should have told them how to do their job!! No refund or compensation offered, just a lame apology.

It has good reviews on TripAdvisor but we were disappointed with the food. Having said that our complaint was properly dealt with. Will give it another go.

Simple food and drinks menu but they'll adjust to your taste. Decor a bit pop up like but the food was great!!!

Amazing wood fired Pizza, arguably one of Norwich's best. lunch deal of a pizza and a soft drink for six quid, seven if you want beer.

Been here lots of times - they have lovely food cooked in front of you and great offers at lunch time. We take our small children there and they have always been very welcoming. Very recommended.

Excellent pizzas at reasonable prices. The pizza base was very good easily the best tasted in Norwich. If olives had been better quality would have been 5 stars. Staff was very friendly.

Though the Pizza was Good it was the first time i went to an italian place That was Out of parmezan early in the evening.

Not as good as I had anticipated. There is quite a restricted menu both for sides, desserts and alcoholic beverages.

Good food at reasonable prices. Certainly better than a mass produced pizza. Staff good with efficient service. The lunch time deals, 12 - 5, are good. Buzzing but not overcrowded.

We are lucky to have this place in Norwich. The pizza is fabulous. I recommend the Roma. The staff are friendly and personable. The price is good. You should eat here.

Very good pizza - they really do only only sell pizza!
Other than dough balls and 2 salads there isn t anything else. Drinks were very cold. Friendly service.
Was unbearably hot , so hot it would put me off going again.
They ran out of wine! Wine size is 125 and 250ml only. Would be good to have 175ml.

Head and shoulders above the chains and generally unremarkable and expensive independents Norwich otherwise has on offer - excellent food, great staff and service, good price.

You are really looked after by the staff here. Great service and great pizzas.

What can I say you walk in and the first thing that hits you is the smell of the wood oven where all the pizzas are cooked. You then get a warm welcome by the waitress who sits you down and offers advice on what to eat if you are unsure. We had the dough balls as recommended and they were a delight, we had a pizza and a calzone thinking they would be a normal size one that is smaller than the plate, they come out on big plates an the pizza fills the plate the calzone is like a towel that's been wrapped up and makes a half moon on the plate accompanied by a small dressing. If you've been to Italy then you know what the pizzas taste like and if you haven't then this is what a traditional Italian pizza is like. They were fantastic, not much choice on desert but the gelato seemed fresh and to be made with actual ingredients and you can taste the flavours, we had 4 pistachio, strawberry, noccolata and vanilla. They do kids size pizzas but are more like individual adults so if your little ones don't eat much I would say get one between them. Great family run restaurants, they have another in Wroxham so if you fancy a proper pizza then I would suggest Donnelli's

I love pizza but I am very picky. If you visit Donnelli's you need to order garlic bread! This is probably the best I have eaten! Also the pizza was delicious, we ordered Parma. Last but not least do try the tiramisu, it is truly divine. I could live by only eating this tiramisu.

Highly recommended and would only come back to Norwich for this place.

Poor service, food wasn't exactly great, C'mon, have you seen how oily that garlic bread is? And the calzone, take a look at the picture.

Proper, amazing delicious pizza! Very good prices for fresh made food. They only serve pizza and do that well, so fair enough. Service very good too.

Lovely true Italian style pizza restaurant with a wood fired oven. Super taste. And they do real authentic gluten free pizzas too. Highly recommended.

Heard good things about the place, unfortunately the pizza arrived with a fairly big sized chunk of golden tin foil cooked between the cheese and tomato layer. It was all too salty and intense. Definitely not enjoyable

Well I am hoping they were just having an off night. The service was really good the young woman who served us was very polite and attentive, however the half litre of red wine they served was undrinkable the worst I have tasted in a very long time we sent it back in case it was off but the Chef insisted that was how it was supposed to taste!. The pizzas we had were poor, looked like they had been thrown together with a very runny watery base sauce and both really lacking in flavour and the Pizza dough base was chewy and hard to cut where it hadn't been made soggy with the runny top all in all not very good on the night . The rocket salad was nice

We have loved Donnellis pizza for years now. Frequently taking advantage of the lunch times deals. But more recently over the lockdowns enjoying the calzones...with parmesan doughballs of course! Fab service and delicious food! Xx

The best pizza I have tasted since leaving Liguria.

Very good pizza reasonably priced in a quaint location. Would rate higher but not a fan of the handwritten suggested 10% service charge on the bill especially when it's only a small party of 4 + 2 children and they forgot 2 of our drinks.

This is a lovely little simple restaurant..if you like good quality pizza; pleasant ambiance and obliging staff this is for you....being a dessert person, however, i like to relax with a coffee and choice of afters so was very disappointed as only offering basic tiramisu and ice creams and sorbet

Fantastic pizzas, great bases thanks to the wood fired oven which you can see from most seats in the place. The toppings are traditional and unfussy made with quality ingredients. Good value carafes of house wine too. I've eaten here several times and never been disappointed!

Great pizza, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Just what the area needs, something other than a restaurant chain.

Literally the best gluten free pizza I have ever eaten. So delicious. The only negative is that there are no gluten free bread based starters and that having a gluten free pizza is dependent on stock in the fridge. If it s there is stock in the fridge when you go.. enjoy!

Had a lovely meal last night. Garlic bread & cheese was delicious & the Siena pizza had an amazing amount of tuna & olives. Nice to find a restaurant that doesn't over complicate their menu, Donnelli's is a pizzeria & that's what you get. The service was excellent & the tiramisu was "to die for"

Amazing! Delicious pizza, fantastic service. Megan was waiting on the entire restaurant on her own, it was absolutely packed and every single person was having an amazing time. I've never seen anything like it. Owners of the restaurant- she is an absolute star! Highly recommend.

Food was tasty and staff very friendly. Reading the menu, still think parmigiana regianna is vegetarian - it isn't - hence 4 stars
