Amazing tour with the underground ruin of the Palace of Nero at one point in time. In very good shape though it is 2000 years old. Also has a VR experience in the part of the tour that shows what the palace looked like when it was in it's prime. Would recommend to tourists and anybody recommended in the history of Rome.
Touring this underground archaeological site was interesting and informative. I knew Nero was loathed but I didn't realize his own people guess his house of everything of value and then filled it with rubble - building a bath complex on top of it (ruins of which exist beside the playground on the top of the hill). It was also fascinating to learn about the artists who had "stolen" ideas by slipping into his abandoned rooms and replicating the art they found in Churches around Europe.
I had a group tour in English. Well executed and interesting but COLD. Bring a jacket!
Recently opened spectacular archeological place including 3D projection. Only wih prior booking !! One of the best sites in Rome off the beaten track !!

The perfect example of ancient roman architecture. Oculus rift on excursion was shown us a real view of this great place.
I like the excursion in Domus Aurea very much. If you want to see a greatness and might of the ancient Rome you should visit this place.
Best museum experience ever. The visit is amazing, very insightful, you learn a lot and you really can understand Neron s thinking at that time. Virtual reality is even emotional! Best invested 16 of the trip.
