I had a bad experience here and that is to say the least. First the staff were professional and very courteous and friendly however as I stayed for a week and revealed that I was Dominican and an American the way I was treated by the staff changed dramatically. Room service only came to clean my room once the entire week and that was after I called reception and made them aware that I wasn t being taken care of. Daily cleanings happened on my floor in the morning, during the day, and sometimes in the evening except in my room. I used the app Expedia to book the reservation and the hotel later revealed that the information they provided to them was not entirely true. I was promised all inclusive food and I had to pay for everything. Then their story changed to free breakfast and I was again told at the entrance to the restaurant that I was required to pay out of pocket, and at one point forced to extend my reservation one day because of the bad information they gave Expedia generating a food bill, leaving me with the situation of them trying to charge my card and it declining because it was not a Dominican bank. I ended up having to western union myself the money as the hotel doesn t accept PayPal or Venmo either. I used my card at multiple other locations in the Dominican Republic for example with Uber , I never had any issues. The staff was truly deceitful and told me at one point that I was not allowed to leave to the WesternUnion or leave the hotel in general until I paid for the food bill, which was told to be all-inclusive. What a horrible experience.

I would totally recommend this hotel. It was my very first time in Santo Domingo and this hotel was a very good match for our week-end in the city. Despite the fact that the room feels a little tired in some parts, it had all the amenities I wished for : comfortable bed, hot water, WIFI, efficient A/C. We had a room with a nice view on the sea. Excellent location. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Overall I enjoyed the customer service there. Nice surprise was a cool jazz concert on the lounge bar on the last floor with a breathtaking view over the neighborhood.

Good service, nice facilities, super nice staff, delicious breakfast, great value for the price. I always stay in this hotel while in Sto. Domingo. I highly recommend it. You will want to come back too. Thanks to Juliana Paris and all the people. God bless you!!!!

For an older hotel, it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and did not smell musty. When we had a problem with our reservation, they helped us find a solution. The breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of foods. It's a good place for families. The pool is very nice.

A good place to enjoy within the city. Relaxing. It would only improve the waiters' attention to people who are not members or acquaintances. Our workers talk about us as a company Due to the pandemic, they are not including the consumable for the Day Pass entrance; however, the costs are acceptable for food and drink.

Service is very good, breakfast and lunch diner as well more than descent. Cleanles of room satisfactory but pets as coackroaches was not up to my likeness in the room. Hotel is fighting against it and I hope it will be solved by fumigation.

Yesterday I spent the afternoon in the pool area with my family. Not a good experience: Mosquitoes all around the pool , jacuzzi not working properly. I had to beg the waitress in order to get my food and drinks ordered. We spent more than an hour to get a cold hot dog. I have been member of the club for more than a year. I expect these type of issues get solved as soon as possible.

Terrible service book from 2 in the afternoon and when I arrive I had to wait for check-in at 3 which is impossible after I am at the restaurant that my son did not like anything I ordered a Macdonald and that he could not eat all that in the hotel because it was forbidden ridiculous thing

Loved the rooms. I thought it was wonderful being that it was the first place I had been that had air conditioning in a week straight. Also, I thought it was kinda funny that the bathroom had cups all wrapped in plastic ready to use, but there was also the fact that the water in the Dominican Republic is not potable, so that was kinda almost like a "haha you can't use me" kind of thing. Also I thought it kinda stunk that I couldn't use the TV without paying for it. I guess that's just an international travel thing. Other than all that, it was really nice!

In a hotel / club, how is it possible that you don...

In a hotel / club, how is it possible that you don't have enough chairs in the pool area? I arrived at the hotel and I had to spend more than half an hour standing for a chair to be vacated, NO employee offered to look for a chair despite seeing me with a child in their arms, the deficit of human attention and I serve the customer is incredible.

There is no teaspoon to move the sugar from a coffee in a hotel of that category? That breaks the soul!

We ordered two burgers and they were lousy, the meat totally raw.

Im giving this hotel 3 stars only because the food was good. but this hotel by no mean is a five star hotel. the room was ok nothing extraordinary the floors hallways were smelly, a normal room for a 3 star hotel. the GYM is well equip but was always full of locals not hotel guests. The casino is really small but ok. The pool area was nice and clean. but the service was not good in my hole stay only two employees greet us. getting services was not easy in our room the first day the remote was not working and it took over an hour to get it fix and the next day the iron was also not working and again took a long time and multiple call to get it replace.

Very bad, the restaurant service the worst, in addition to delivering the room they charged me more, I never took something from the room servibar, I made the claim and they charged me $ 17 more for the use of the servibar. They promised me a refund in the following hours which never happened ... I am too sorry to have to share my experience ...

This is an amazing City Hotel.

Easy Check in/out (Gabriel,and Roque) at the reception and Bellboy department are amazing.
Always smiling and very professional people.

Don Jose at the hotel taxi service it is going to make you feel so confortable when you decide to go and have a ride in the mornings.
Very clean and confortable rooms, with a great housekeeping service; But also a great room service, since the phone calling until the last bite of the food.

This hotel and people has surprise me, even with the little details. Coffee with milk, croassants and some ham with mangu it is going to be great to have when morning breakfast.

Bussiness center people is also so atentive.

The hotel itself I've never tried, but I'm sure it's fine. The thing that I enjoy and that keeps me going everyday is the activities, tennis, basketball, football(or soccer for losers who call it that) or the gym an if you are into it Zumba. Or other stuff that I can't think of right now it's a pretty fun place, so if you are staying enjoy the pool and those other activities. Cheers.
