Doc Willoughby's Downtown Grill Review

Cheap food and decent quality. Service was a little disappointing but we were here for lunch and the dinner and late night crowd seem more what they are catering too. The $6 menu is awesome. Cheap and food is pretty good too. I would come here for dinner though

This venue was incredible!! Sound was great, laid back atmosphere and the beef dip is out of this world!!

Went there today, great service and bartender was very nice and friendly yet almost $19 for two sleeves of okanagan pale? Something wrong with that!

Just went there last night,and on several occasions two barmen tried to rip me off by giving me the wrong change,thought it was just an honest mistake at first but when it happened three times in a row .WONT BE GOING THERE ANYTIME SOON.

Speaking solely from my experiences there on Sunday morning, they make an awesome breakfast that is cheap, always hot, and delicious. Great spot to catch Sunday morning football, hit up a little hair of the dog, and enjoy a decent priced breakfast to boot. Occasionally not the fastest service, but lately it's been pretty good.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, They CAN'T Cook Either, should be a $0.99 meal so IF you can get your order in, when you get your easy over eggs they will be cooked hard and the yokes broken, your bacon will be raw on one side and cooked on the OTHER.
Now if you complain about NOT GETTING WHAT YOU ORDER their manager or owner, whoever that is behind the bar will KICK YOU OUT, FOR LIFE. Nice customer service POS...

Crowded, loud, and nearly always a cover charge to get in to on weekends due to live bands. Good wings though!

Great breakfast....server was not so friendly and the burley bartender was seriously unfriendly. We brought company from out of town and felt uncomfortable with the unhappy servers :(

Doc s helped us out so much with a venue for a casual get together before our wedding. The staff was super friendly and set the tone of the night perfectly. The food and drinks were awesome.

Our go to place downtown. Great atmosphere and always friendly service.We have never had a bad meal. It s always nice to sit on the patio in the Summer and enjoy the downtown vibe.

Have ate here a few times and the service sucked I ordered the eggs asked for over easy they came both yoks broken and hard so I complained. Today I went there and ordered the eggs again asked for over easy but both yoks broken and hard the bacon was only cooked on one side half raw bacon and human hair so I complained the owner or manger came and told me I was band from there for life .Fine by me you have Bad service you have Bad PR as well as a Bad cook

If I lived in Kelowna, I would definitely be a regular here. The $5 food menu is insanely cheap, the food is really good, and the portion sizes are great - overall amazing value on the grub front. The drink selection is great with some killer drink specials throughout the week which is always a plus. The atmosphere is laid back, comfortable, and has a rustic pub feel which I really enjoy. Overall Doc's is a great place to have a drink, grab a bite, and hang out with friends. I would highly recommend checking this place out!

worst customer service, as they provide cheap food so doesn't care abt the client at all. went there couple of times and thought service might change but no change. besides u have to wait for so long for the order. terrible service

Very neat place. Went for brunch and everything on the menu was 7 dollars I think. The staff was awesome and really diverse, people from all walks it seemed. The only complaint I have is the orange juice tasted like it had dill in it.

$5 for everything on the menu. You can't go wrong. Great atmosphere and even better service.

The Wednesday wing special is good and there is a wide variety of flavours. The wings themselves are tender and tasty but by far the best part of the evening was the stellar service from Vanessa. She is friendly, welcoming, professional and knows how to hustle....something that, as a server for years, I truly appreciate. Well done, Doc's! I am so glad that after my previous (terrible) lunchtime experience, I decided to give it another try. Thank you, Vanessa, for everything.

Doc's has good food at good prices and they have live music most weekends. The live music ranges from punk rock to classic rock to occaisional electronica.

It's a nice place to drink a Doc's Westcoast Amber Ale.

Cozy... good food prices... calamari kind of sucked tho. Rubbery, too many onions. Good beer prices too.

They have an awesome cheap menu but definitely some of the slowest service I've had

The atmosphere was fantastic and it was a packed venue for the event. Great service from the friendly staff with good beers and pub grub.

I used to love going here when I was young and it was after 1 am. Don't do that a whole lot now a days so I usually land there during the day time. When I sat down and was waiting for friends to arrive, the waitress refused to acknowledge me. She took orders from the table next to me, (who came in after I did). I had to go up to her when she was punching in their orders, and politely requested a pint of lager.
When I say this, I truly mean I had not exchanged ANY words with her, so there's no way she had a reason to intentionally exclude me from being served.
The lager came, and it may as well have been water. My friends arrived, she approached them immediately, they ordered, and she ran away immediately. My friend friend had to flag her down, since at this point I doubted she'd to listen to me- and we switched the lager to a pilsner. The first sip I took of that, had an ice cube in it. Pretty sure ice is NEVER supposed to go into beer..
Then, after the entire two drinks I had, I somehow ended up paying $19. Not sure if the waitress just had it out for me, but since this isn't the first bad experience I've had here, I will not be returning.

Most times great service, good value of food. Sometimes the door guy is rude though

Great place to watch the game, and have a meal. The steak was really good, and the prices we're surprisingly low. A definite must check out if you're going through Kelowna.

Great little patio, friendly service but a little slow and a great $5 menu. Food was mediocre ( we had the nachos) and by 530pm they ran out of 5 menu items. Would go back for drinks and maybe skip the food.

Good food, friendly service. I recommend try the in house beers. Wasn't that busy. Seated right away. Lots to choose from. Portions were big. Next time I am in Kelowna, will I go here.

Live bands are always hit and miss but I love hanging out here when there's good upbeat music.

Pretty good pub fare. Decent prices. Often understaffed however, resulting in hit or miss service
