Doc Willoughby's Downtown Grill Review

Great selection of Brew and all food items are $6! Not bad at all. Very chill and less crowded than other pubs along the downtown.

Was barely any seating. Wasn't even any standing room. Paying a cover charge to get into a pub where you can't even sit down and have a drink or food. It was a waste of money. Only good thing was the music.

Been here three times in a week, friendly staff, great prices, and food worth more than you pay!

Hardly saw the waitress. 45 mins to get out breakfast. Breakfast was cold as if it just came out of a fridge. Waitresses were swearing and complaining. Will not be returning.

Great pub, great food, great atmosphere, great architecture, great live music! Just great all around place to be if you find yourself downtown.

I have to give this place five stars. I admittedly don't remember much of what happened when I was there, as I came with a couple people I met after being at another bar downtown. However, the place seemed okay: the staff were friendly, the drinks I got reasonably priced, and the smoke pit out back was better than other ones I've seen in town. I somehow made it home without losing any personal items or money, so it must have been a pretty good bar.

I've only been here for wings on wing night a few times. The food is very good and the decor is rustic (and very dark). But the restaurant does not accommodate groups of more than 4 very well, and we usually have to break up into different tables on busy nights. The staff also get easily frustrated when members of the same group are coming, trying to sit together, and all ordering at different times, which is unfortunate for waiters and customers alike. I would suggest Doc's if you have a small, organized group and are going on a slower night.

Could use more servers. Probably tough to predict how many people are going to show up on a Tuesday evening though. Beer was nice and cold. Nice selection of top quality beer on tap

Kendra was an awesome server, would definitely recommend she's super great, always helped us with choosing drinks and was super nice. Definitely would recommend to anyone coming to Kelowna.

Nothing like a jug of beer with friends and a plate of nachos to make a Monday night stand out. I had the Cuban sandwich (it was nice!)

The inside is reminiscent of the most classic pubs ever. It was nice and quiet with hockey score in the background. All in all, I'll be back next week.

Food is really great and at awesome prices: you won't find better food in town for this inexpensive. It's a great deal, and there's quite a few good vegetarian options which is nice. The veggie burger is the best I've had anywhere. However, the service is always terrible even when the restaurant is nearly empty. The servers stand around talking to each other instead of coming to the table, and the wait in between the very infrequent table visits is ridiculous. It took half an hour to get the bill during one visit. Yikes. Also, every time we go here there's new servers. Very frustrating. But we'll keep going because the food, prices, and location are great.

If you like your chicken wings pink in the middle, this place is for you... food's gone way downhill in recent years. Staff is also uninterested, snarky and act inconvenienced to be serving you

I love this place I m born on Christmas Eve and it s the only place that ever open for me to enjoy my birthday. Also has great staff and good atmosphere

Went to .wet friends and enjoyed a red and meal there . Waitress very good k ew wot we want before we did!!! Very friendly and not over powering. Worth going to.meet friends and relax.

cool venue with a rather unorthodox layout. not a ton of room for the crowd, but creates a very intimate environment with the bands.

This place has exactly what I want on a Sunday morning.

Disgusting experience. The server ACTUALLY shamed me because i was wearing a mask! I was so disgusted! And when I asked to see the manager, Dave came out and KICKED US OUT!!! Only because I wanted to wear a mask!!!!!! PLEASE BOYCOTT THIS PLACE!!!!

Great happy hour venues and atmosphere - especially on the curbside patio

Last time I was here the appy menu was $5 for anything. Now it's up to $8..... Not surprised the place was empty. It used to be worth going to Docs to share a bunch of appys but now it's the same price as evey other pub in the area...

Wow what a surprise this place was. We picked it 'cause the patio is always full. Now we know why; they have a $6.00 menu! The food was great , I'm not 100% sure, but the hamburger tasted homemade! Very impressed, I will definitely go again.

We went for brunch here midweek. The service was good and I was shocked to discover that two beers and two meals could be had for $20. It was tasty and filling!

Disappointed as the show was to start at 9:00 PM didn't start till almost 11:00. Got too late to see the entire show. Waitress forgot our food order although she didn't charge for it. Good thing there was no cover or would have asked for a refund. Be a while before we return.

Great vintage atmosphere and downtown location.. Staff is a little indifferent and the inside a little gloomy, dark and smelly but perhaps adds to the experience, excellent street side patio

Cheap food, small plates, huge beer selection. Bit dirty tho.

Went in for the popular wing night and had a fantastic experience. This time of year it wasn't uncomfortably busy, but steady. Our waitress was awesome, great personality that had us laughing and thst always make the night better. Wings and drink we delicious, nothing to complain about. Wait times were great. Willing to bet in the summer months it may take a bit longer as the city gets super busy, but as long as they have the same staff, you wouldn't know it with the great staff.

It is not fancy, but it is great. 5$ food, cheap wings, cheap beer, and a British pub atmosphere. What more could you want in a bar/grill
