When I went there was a Code Geass display. There were interactive art activities as well as lots of pictures, screens and videos. The shop had a variety of Anime themed gifts as well as a cute Cafe with anime themed drinks!
Pretty meh. There is nothing . Only if you are interested in the anime that they are promoting can it be ok. It is not worth the detour if you are not in the area
The name looks great, but there are very few things inside
It seems that a popular anime collaboration event and exhibition are held by definition!
Underwhelming, small room with some sketches from popular new animes. They host events from time to time which looked cool but sadly weren't going on when I was there. Some art from the same anime and other gift stuff for sale but most shops in akihabara had a much better selection.
Nothing to see here. Unless you're lucky enough to be a fan of the specific shows on display at the moment, there is no point in going there. It's not even on the way to anywhere interesting.
I went in and out. There was nothing to see, do or buy that I couldn't find by randomly walking in Akihabara.
In addition to exhibition plans such as anime original drawings, related products are sold. Planning may be paid or free.
Since there are times when events are held, please check the site etc.
There isn't much inside there, only when there are events or exhibitions here.
From 1st basement floor to mid-February 19, Idolmaster Million Live related exhibitions and only shops are in operation. There are a lot of goodies available only here, so be sure to stop by if you are interested in Militsita. On the first floor, latte art is on sale at the Collaboration Cafe. The quality is so good for the price, so I don't recommend buying it unless it's fun.
There a lot of anime's, gachapon, games and many more.
It s store trash here
The clerk's attitude is bad
I can't return it
Everyone should not go!
I wouldn't even bother wasting my time. Much better shops around Akihabara!
A rather small exhibition, not what you might expect from the name. Might depend on when you visit though, as they mainly promote upcoming movies.
As far as I know the 'anime center' should be something bigger than actually is. The place is nice but there is not much to see
I'll rate this a 4. And this is why. Not going to lie or try to make it sound better or anything. If you want a anime version of Starbucks go for it. As soon as you walk in thats what's infront of you. If you go down to the basement then you will find a museum of sketches and beginning drawings of specific animes they have on display down there and also a area where you can try and make some anime sketches and a gift shop. Not going to diss because when i went i enjoyed it a bit enough to see sketches and beginnings of some of my favorite anime shows. (again thats not what they always have down there it changes depending on the event). Still is worth going for it
Go lose yourself. Must see in Tokyo.
Once you get there, you shall be happy to have followed my advice.
Really cool going here. But it is really actually a very small gallery. But it was awesome to see the initial sketch designs to some animes.
Beautiful event space, goods shop and cafe are also permanent
You will find all type of kind of animated and authentic. Loved it
they had some prismstar museum for the next month and nothing else was there. You needed a ticket to go into it and just to buy anything in that section. It runs from 7/12 to 8/25. So if you not into that anima don't go.
Don't bother - tiny anime exhibit. As others have suggested, perusing the dozens of anime shops in the area is a better use of time!
I will go. Japan and I will be mangaka and this country
A store aimed at holding anime events and selling goods. Is the product lineup unique and geeky? If you imagine an animate feeling, you might eat a shoulder open. It's not that far from the station, but there aren't many shops nearby, so you may need to do something next except for coming here.
We went to this place thinking we can find anime characters merchandise. Unfortunately we didn't find anything.
For having the name Tokyo Anime Center, it was largely unimpressive. Small with overpriced merchandise
Underwhelming for what it had been built up to for me. For anime fans there's plenty more out there that's worth visiting over this.
Very good place, be sure to confirm the contents of the exhibition and the date of the break before coming.
Had a better time at J world was more anime related stuff.
I went to see Ribbon 's western collaboration cafe in 1F' s BOOK & FOODS space. Space where we have plenty of room to spare. At the cafe, bossanova is flowing and can stay calm.
More of a guide and information booth with a little store of ordinary anime and manga stuff. Helpful and friendly guides. There's also a small space that displays currently airing shows for kids.
Not so great place to visit, unless there is some anime event happening in there. If you have some time and want to buy some wallposters of your fav anime, you can go here.
When I get to go I will go crazy x buy my original manga and anime :)
someone just weeb me send help and blackjack + hookers
It is a very quiet and spacious place where you can go for a coffee quietly, and see some of their manga exhibitions
Was in April. A lot of interesting things. There you can see all the anime announcements. There is also a gallery with drawings left by visitors.
Don t bother. There s nothing special there. It s more of a cafe-shop with very limited stock.
If I go there on some distant day I would die happy and satisfied, because I was not Japanese!
: v
Akihabara in front was better. Even as a location, the contents. I thought it would be better to increase the variation a little more if selling goods. The exhibition was not bad.
In addition to exhibitions related to animation, there are also sales of animation goods.
There are exhibits of original drawings and exhibits of scripts.
The entrance may be a bit hard to understand because of a business building, but once you visit it you can understand it.
There seems to be an exhibition in addition to the topic's animation, and also from the viewpoint of the animation to watch.
Although there is a tendency for the popular items to be out of stock in the merchandising, if you ask the clerk about the arrival, ok
If it is not elsewhere, you may come to the last trump card, or you may come to see the state from the station directly.
Do n t think there are so many wild inside, it s not worth going for individuals
I love because there are many anime stores and very beautiful streets and the food
An important facility transmitting Japanese culture!
Two floors about anything. The choice is zero. Little books and stupid badges
I want to go there, but I can't speak Japanese at the same distance from Japan to Indonesia
As soon as we saw the name we slings it thinking that who knows what was instead bo '....... There was nothing
Since I was doing the exhibition of Code Geass' exhibition, I went to play.
It is located a little away from Ichigaya station, but it was not even a distressing distraction.
The inside of the hall was very beautiful, there was a cafe 's corner etc.
The exhibition venue was surprisingly full-blown than I thought.
Goods was also good with rich variety of goods.
I would like to go play again if I have the opportunity.
Konichiwa take no died
Hello everyone
If you are in the area, then stop by. On the 4th floor.
I came to see Bonds 20th anniversary exhibition
It was quite nice to have a limited-time cafe on the first floor and a workshop on the photographic print system
Bonds' 20th anniversary commemorative exhibition was not an animation fan but was it an event that people on the animation production side could enjoy? It is frank thought
It was a pleasure to have exhibitions such as precious settings, original drawings, scene photographs and the tribute corner of Mr. Koji Osaka of Bonds founding member
Although it is not content to accept everyone, since the photographs are OK (movies are NG), in that sense it is very content of high satisfaction
Colorful district with many anime and technology shops, also worthwhile for non-nerds
This facility is located in DNP Plaza, which has a space for exhibiting anime.
The main space is the exhibition space, so I think it is necessary to check what kind of animation exhibits you have on the website.
In the shop corner of the annex, goods lined up according to the contents of the exhibition held at that time are lined up, and the types of products are quite comprehensive and original products are enriched, so I will go for it May also be ants.

When I went there, the "WIT STUDIO AnimeWorks Exhibition", which produced "Attack on Titan," was being held.
Weak place, not worth the time you miss going there.
Its location has changed recently and now it is quite far from everything interesting about Tokyo. Total disappointment if you are looking for manga products, anime or anything related to them. They have literally two merchandising shelves of a couple of series, four screens to draw and a temporary exhibition room on the drawings of a manga that you finish in five minutes. In the upper floor there is information and videos about the 2020 Olympics. Sorry to recommend it in tourist information, we lost 2 hours between going and returning. If you want to discover the anime world it is much better to take a walk around Akihabara.
this is a little hard to find, it's in the udx building up the escalators a few floors. they focus on one anime at a time to promote, when I was there the focus was on Gate. They had some cool illustrations, animation frames, t-shirts, and other gear you can buy there. It felt like half museum half gift shop. Worth stopping by if you have the time.
I was mislead by the name. It is not an anime 'center' as much as a a small exhibition in a single room. If you are looking to buy, you will see much better fare at the street vendors just outside. And of course at the huge malls dedicated to anime in Akihabara. The anime centre has a separate shop in the same building, which is also more interesting.
The store does not live up to the name. For diehard fans maybe interesting.
Akihabara and they are not as rich and crazy as they tell us. In addition, there is everything less than you would expect and only new productions
