DNO ASA is a Norwegian oil and gas operator that has been active in the Middle East and the North Sea for over 40 years. The company was founded in 1971 by Berge Gerdt Larsen, who had a vision of creating a successful oil exploration company. Today, DNO is one of Norway's largest independent oil companies, with operations in several countries around the world.

The company's primary focus is on exploration, development, and production of oil and gas resources. DNO has built up an impressive portfolio of assets over the years, including interests in several producing fields in Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI), as well as exploration licenses offshore Norway.

DNO's operations are divided into two main regions: the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and the North Sea region. In MENA, DNO operates primarily in Iraq where it holds interests in several producing fields such as Tawke field which produces more than 100k barrels per day (bpd). In addition to its producing assets, DNO also holds significant exploration acreage across KRI.

In Norway’s continental shelf (NCS), Dno operates mainly through its subsidiary Faroe Petroleum which it acquired recently. The acquisition gave them access to high-quality assets such as Brasse field which started production recently with an estimated recoverable reserves of about 30 million barrels equivalent.

In terms of financial performance, Dno has consistently delivered strong results over the years despite challenging market conditions. As at Q3-2021 report released on October 28th ,the Company reported revenues amounting to USD $347 million with EBITDA amounting to USD $221 million . This was driven by higher production volumes from their flagship Tawke field among others .
