Getting into the Petco Park was a maze of barrier confusion! It was pouring rain and they forced everyone into habit-trail blocked streets and only two entrances! Why didn t the event organizers cover the dirt track with tarps like the do baseball & football fields around the country! The mud was so deep that the kids race failed miserably and they made it 1/8 around the track before stopping in their tracks bike-deep in mud too bad there is not a sad poop face because everyone braved the elements to watch a poorly planned event!

Where should I start? This ball park is state of the art in terms of design and a truly unique experience to catch a baseball game. Whoever designed this place thought of everything. Honestly, I'm a Dodgers fan but this park by far is one of my favorites to visit. The view of downtown is gorgeous, the food is amazing, they even serve Phil's barbeque here, the only gripe is I didn't find any sea food here unless I missed it. It's right in the heart of downtown so after the game the Gaslamp should be your next destination which is a block away. This place is no hassle free, you can literally walk anywhere you please unlike Dodger Stadium unfortunately. Great ball park, great atmosphere.

Today my son, wife and I attended the Monster Jam 2019 in Petco Park. It was a great experience. We sat at section 115 which provided terrific views of the racing surface and the jumbotron. Awesome and will attend again next year.

Out of the 26 ballparks I have visited in the States, this ranks in my top five. It certainly helps that the weather is nearly always 70s and sunny, but the stadium is located right downtown next to the Gaslamp Quarter area of San Diego. Petco had one of the greatest selections of food and craft beer of any stadium in any sport that I have visited, and it is all really delicious. The stadium is very unique, from the iconic Western Supply Co. building that forms part of the left field scenery to the small baseball field for the kiddos in the outfield. The views are great in every direction, and it is certainly worth the walk around the stadium.

The tickets can be cheap or expensive, it really just depends on who the Pads are playing and on how they re doing that year. The lower bowl seems to be a pretty good deal for most games, and here I would say it is certainly worth paying a bit more for better seats/closer, but it s not bad to sit in the upper bowl either.

One of the most beautiful ball parks in the country!!! Just be ready to bring some big money for concessions!!! Way over priced alcohol and food. Good choices to eat and has something for everyone. The history of SD navy in power alley is something to see. The western metal building has historic things in it as well. An actual park in the park is open to the public during non game days is super cool. A mini baseball field for the kids is a nice touch too. You can get tours of the park and experience the players clubhouse too!! Deffently a bucket list for the baseball fanatic and lover of the game .

We went for a graduation, parking was awful, the seats are way to close together. People had no room to move and had to climb over each other to go to the bathroom/ get food. The hallways to the seats are too narrow and it causes congestion and is unsafe for emergencies.

It's a good stadium. The parking situation is terrible though, have to get an uber or something. But especially on a busy game getting into downtown is pretty hard but leaving it is the worst thing ever. Nothing wrong with Petco itself but just extreme traffic after the game, depending on what game it is.

What can I say about Petco Park that you don't already know? It's one of the best, if not THE best ballpark in the country and it's host to one of the worst, if not THE worst team in baseball the last few years. It's still fun to catch a game after work and enjoy a $10 domestic beer...

Amazing scenic stadium.. HORRIBLE STAFF and incompetent workers.
I (military veteran)went to SD for the weekend series against the Cardinals(3games 150+ for two tickets , @3 games that is over $450). had 4 drunken idiots, who the Padres staff overserved alcohol, attempt to attack me, and the security sat there and watched em. Several other guests around me ask them to stop using profanity as it was a sunday day game and there are kids everywhere. Of course because these drunken idiots spewed profanity everywhere, and attempted to assault me, i of course did not retaliate and still was kicked out of the park even though everyone said it was the drunken 4-some. I am a big boy so Im not whining because some bully picked on me, im complaining that i did everything correct as a spectator should, and the staff did everything wrong.
SD PADRES organization and Petco park is not a Military friendly place, regardless of all the hoopla they pretend to cater to the Military personnel in SD. Veterans do not spend your money here.

We had fun there watching a Padres game. Beer and food was overpriced but it's a nice Stadium we had a good time. And what major league ballpark doesn't have overpriced food and beer? Located convenient to mass transit.

Go Padres! Lol jK. I'm not a fan but I do love baseball and Petco Park is an amazing place to visit. I'm a Los Angeles native and would never go to Dodger Stadium because of all the violence. Sad to say but true. During Bark at the Park you can bring your dog and they too can enjoy the game from the grassy area behind the Park. They have a huge screen where everyone can watch.

Petcon Park is a very nice ball park. The staff there are all pleasant and extremely helpful. Being a Cubs' fan, I enjoyed the game and seeing my home team win. I only have one complaint. The music and announcements played during the game are deafening. It is so loud it can do permanent hearing damage. I actually had to cover my ears when they played. An hour after leaving the game, I'm still having trouble hearing. I can't imagine the damage it is permanently doing to children's ears. This must be addressed.

Love going to the ballgames. Beautiful stadium. Too bad the team isn't that good. Still love my Padres and been rooting for them since 1969 but it will be a while before we have a winning team.
