Been going there ever since it opened and never had any problems with going there I'm sure people make mistakes, but we are people we all do. This is a very good medical centre and very clean compared to some i have seen ,with good Drs and staff, on the staff side of it they do their best to help you as much as possible and are always friendly . The Drs are good and in tune with todays procedures i have no problem recommending this pracrice to anyone . Andy B

If you can get past the horrible people who are on reception, you might be able to find a good doctor. Been coming here for over 25 years, unfortunately DMC doesn't value your loyalty to a family GP. They will try and charge you unneccessarily and not apologise when they are wrong. This practice has turned into a profit-first machine. If you're a local, invest your time and money into a practice more deserving.
I went to Drummoyne medical centre as this is where I regularly take my kids for check-ups. My daughter of 1 year old was feeling ill so my wife and I took her to this clinic, but unfortunately, the GP who we always see is on his day-off, so we met Ali Kutlu doctor instead. He had very limited English speaking skills, so I had to ask him to repeat what he said and he gave me a cold shoulder and reacted very rudely. My other daughter was playing and dropped a toy on the floor made the doctor more furious. For a doctor, I was expecting him to at least explain his medical diagnosis on my daughter's symptoms but he only gave me a prescription of an antibiotic, and no further explanation was given.
The worst moment was when he started to staring my kids, shaking the head and blinking the eye, at that moment I stand up and get mad to him, I will wait to see the worst for his carrier, cant manage this industry.
I have been loyal to this clinic ever since I have had my daughters. This doctor did not provide the expectations I have and gave a bare minimum amount of professionalism and I am gravely disappointed with my experience with him.
Hi! I went recently to see one of the "bulk billing" doctors there, because I had a serious cold and a nagging wet cough. Despite acknowledging the wet/productive cough the doctor gave me a syrup for dry cough, Rikodeine, which is a cough suppressant. Not only it doesn't help but its use can cause more harm. I only noticed home the error, after spending 19 dollars on it. Everybody makes mistakes. I'll just keep on looking for a decent doctor in Sydney, without having to pay heaps for a basic consultation.
Called up to make an appointment for a general checkup and was told that they were taking walk-ins today. Went and waited an hour to see the doctor, who said he's not going to listen to me as they're only doing emergencies. He then started taking my blood pressure for some reason.
No one picks up the phone here. Have never experienced a medical centre not picking up the phone and at least asking if you can hold. 2 days in a row now.
Super efficient service. Lots of doctors so you always get to see someone even if you haven't made an appointment. Having the nurses there also mean that blood collection or vaccinations can be dealt with straight away.
Have been going to this practice for years. Now they have introduced a policy that reception will not take messages for doctors, for example to get blood test results. Say the doctors are inundated with messages. This means I have to make an appointment to get my results, which are generally fine - so a two minute consultation. This is a waste of my time, but more income for the doctors, which I suspect is the real reason. Very annoying.
A very well run medical centre comprised of both bulk-billing and private billing doctors. Support staff always very friendly too even at the end of a long day.
The best medical I've been to EVER. Traveled half an hour to get to the centre as many of my local doctors are terrible. The staff were excellent, the wait was short and the doctor i had (Dr. Kong) was excellent. I felt that he actually spent time listening and asking questions in order to make a good diagnosis. Got asked to take tests and all which was a nice change.
All in all i know I'm returning to Dmc and I am more than satisfied with their service.
I called for a last minute appointment. I had to deal with a personal, very delicate and stressful situation. The blonde receptionist with the ponytail ( i forgot the name) was very welcoming and helpful and Dr. Wang has been professional and at the same time extremely kind and understanding. On top of that, the irish nurse who took my blood test was really good. I had a very positive experience and I am really grateful
I question the ethics of a medical practise which has their left wing activists on union backed advertisements telling blatant untruths, while pretending to be unbiased;-(
You know the doctors at this clinic sometimes don't see eye to eye, but at least they listen and understand!
I haven't had a bad experience here at all even if I book a random one if it's urgent.
I'd really recommend putting in the time to make this your local GP practice, it's only a 10 minute bus ride from the city, and they even message you script direct to your phone.
Lastly there not just doing a job, they do actually care!
