My family had a great time. Bought tickets the day of, excellent service over the phone. Arrived about 1.5 hours early, my girls loved the souvenir boot cup filled with Sprite and cherries. Music beforehand was great and had a little for all. The show/dinner was very entertaining and good. The meal was a potato/chicken broth with biscuit, chicken (a lot) a loin, corn and potato. It's decent and you eat with your hands. The show was worth it and would do again.

Fantastic dinner, entertaining show, an entertaining experience.

I've gone to the Dixie Stampede numerous times and still love the show from start to finish. The bluegrass band that plays before the main show is positively stellar, both animated and skilled with their instruments. The dinner, both the quality of the food and the pacing at which it is delivered, is spot on and probably worth the ticket price even without the accompanying show. As for the action that occurs in the arena, it's a great mix of impressive equestrian acrobatics, humor in jokes and slapstick gags, and fantastic story telling. I would highly advise anyone who has never been to experience the Dixie Stampede at least once.

This is an amazing dinner show, with good food, good stunts, and a good plot. The food we had was the vegitible soup, and the chicken with the sides and stuff. The arena actually doesn't smell of horses, so do not worry about it smelling badly. Both of the shows are nice (the Christmas special, and the Normal show) both focusing on the north and the south fighting over something. The regular show is very entertaining and it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time, it is very thrilling! The holiday special has a very nice nativity scene, and sutch. The pre show has great music and I love the saloon setting. After the show you can get your soveneir mug signed by the cast, and as you exit the building there are the horses in their pins. This is great for the kids so they can see the animals up close. This truly is a great show!!

Food is great and the show is Fab. Dolly parton not only sings like an angel. She has done wonders for the state of Tenn.

Horrible place to work for. No, I take that back, ruthless place to work for actually. The horses and other animals used in the show are treated unfairly, so are the newly hired performers. I felt like I literally was trapped inside a pit of vipers in the dressing room with women double my age who were more territorial than cats. My dream as a kid was to grow up and get to ride horses in this show, but after seeing it from the inside, I wouldn't recommend working here, especially if you have any compassion at all for animals. As a matter of fact, working for this company, along with experiencing how cruelly circus animals are treated, made me change my stance completely on animals used for entertainment. It's wrong no matter how many times they try to tell you it isn't. The horses don't get to see daylight or green grass until they get "retired". They can claim all they want that the animals are treated like royalty, but that is a glittery facade my friends.

Wow! What a show! From the time you walk in the door, you are surrounded by friendly staff, all decked out in Southern attire. The pre show with bar available is so much fun. A full course meal (and a doggy bag if you can t eat it all), all while you watch a live show with animals, singing, patriotism and love. A definite attraction I d do again.

If you want something awesome to do then you have got to see Dixie Stampede, between the horse Riding, like going through rings of Fire, the comedy, and the beautiful ladies in the show its an awesome show but then again you got to expect something great if Dolly Parton is involved:)

Fun but some negatives. Very expensive. Holiday songs had too many that implied there is no santa like grandma run over by reindeer, and mommy kissing Santa and daddy looks a lot like Santa. Also, food good but so crowded it's hard to eat. Animals were fun to watch so were the tricks.

Great show and really good food...two suggestions though... 1. sell the photo taken as you enter, after dinner...they come around with them during dinner when your up to your elbows in bbq sauce and expect you to look at and pay for the pictures...then you have the problem of storing them somewhere after you buy them that they are not going to get bent or get food spilled on them. 2. Come up with a better way to exit the theater after the show...it really is like a stampede. The whole theater empties at the same time up several flights of stairs into a hallway then down several flights of stairs of couse letting out into the gift shop. Might be better to empty half the theater at a time or open the emergency exits at the end of show. JMO

This was my first time here. Food was great! Show was very good. Very fun and audience was involved in the show. Our server was very busy but our drinks stayed full, its very fast paced for them but he made sure to say something to us each time he passed. It's around $50 a person to eat but for the show and the amount of food you get it was worth it!
