Our family of 10 were very excited to go to the dinner show. We ve been to other ones before and they always enjoyed it. We had a good experience, I just didn t realize they really meant finger licking good . It was difficult for some of the kids to eat the chicken. The little Cornish hens were delicious, so was the soup and biscuit. Corn was good, pork was dry and so was the potato. After we ate we noticed other tables had bbq sauce, we didn t have any, and the salt and pepper come in little packets that are identical coloring. When we asked for salt, the server told us it s in the bin, we said it was only pepper, he said no there s salt, and left us to dig around to find some. The server didn t really interact with us, but other than that the kids loved the show. Their eyes were glued to the arena. Probably won t be back next time we visit. But glad we went.

Wasn't expecting too much but WOW is the show entertaining and the food is simply great and lots of it! The show has everything; thrills, music, comedy, magic, audience participation, spectacular costumes and scenery and the riders are amazing. There's even baby bison! Watch out for Skeeter, he'll definitely make you laugh.
The food was no-silverware/finger-food with soup, biscuits, chicken, corn, etc. We had so much left, and so good, we took it with us for the journey back to ATL. Try it you wont be disappointed.

Best Christmas program ever. I always think Dixie Stampede is a bit pricey at the time of purchase. But, I always walk away feeling I got more than money's worth. My daughter even got chosen to chase the chickens! We may have started a new Christmas tradition.

It's what you think it would be. Food with no utensils while watching a country comedy show. Would be better with some adult beverages. Dolly doesn't drink and neither will you. Catch the early show and enjoy the evening out later on.

I'll be honest, I'm not even sure how to begin to describe the show I saw. After seeing online the tickets were sold out; I almost didn't bother calling, but I did knowing I had 20 minutes to show time. My family made it just in time and even late was welcomed with open arms. The food was spectacular, the service was incredible, and the show itself blew me away. If I ever get the chance, I will return with my family.

Would not go back. Have been before about 8 years ago for the regular show. It was much better than the Christmas show there we just saw a few days ago. They've got the chairs crammed together, elbow to elbow, some people can't even push their chair up to the table. The arena was not even full. No reason for everyone to be clustered up. The show was mediocre, food skimpy. Chicken was not good. On top of the $166 for the 3 of us to eat and see the show there's a little card on the table asking for a 15% gratuity for the server. That's nuts, that would be close to $30, and ridiculous because you didn't just pay a certain amount for food, you paid to watch the show too. At the end of the show they do this pass the candy cane thing though the isles as a competition. We came home and all have colds and the flu 3 days later. Most likely from that stupid candy cane. In my opinion I would I would not spend money here again. It was just a bad experience all around.

The show is amazing and entertaining for young and old alike. The food is delicious and worth the experience by itself.
My only complaint, and it's major to me, the photos that are taken of you and your family or group was never brought for us to view and have the chance to purchase. Dixie lost quite a bit of money that night since there were 12 in our group and there would have been multiple photos bought. Oh well, there loss but they also lost some customers.

Fantastic fun. With Live music before the show. My little one enjoyed the night time ponies. When you sit down for the show there is a note that tips aren't included in your price of ticket for server.

It was a great show. Was expecting a bit more out of it. For a very first time experience it was cool to see my daughter to enjoy it with me and her Dad. What made it it really cool that her Dad got into the Show. So she was very excited to see that happen

My family and I came to the show youngest age was 18 and oldest was 56. We all had a blast! The show was fun and competitive. Even the pre-show was amazing with the banjo guy truly tearing it up. Don't think this show is just for a family with young kids. The show is fun and interactive for everyone.

Great entertainment& ton of food. Hate Dolly was forced to change the name from the Dixie Stampede. As a first timer I wish more explanation was given as what the pre-show was and sitting. The actual show was amazing. Food served without utensils(soup, roll, Cornish hen, pork loin slice, and dessert was apple turnover. Service was quick and very efficient.

Amazing show would highly recommend. If you have to choose one while your here this is the one. Food is great and you get way more then you need. Be warned you will use your hands, it makes it fun that way. The entire show from beginning to end is entertaining especially dinner being served. And the acts are amazing between the dancing and horses they are the best in town.

I have been to the Dixie Stampede several times over the years and enjoyed it. But I have to say, the show now has really gone down hill. It use to have a lot of singing, telling the history of the US, and much more horse riding and action. Now it is a poor attempt at a comedy show. If I wanted to watch a comedy show, I would go to the Comedy Barn. It is still ok for kids and people who have never seen the good versions but if you have seen them you will be disappointed now. I understand the show changed for political reasons but at least put back the singing and some kind of story telling with horse riding.

Awesome

Always a must on our trips to pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Really enjoyed it this time because the show and scene was a little different.
Only thing I would like to see Dolly get at her theme parks and dinner shows is books in her gift shops. We try to get our daughter a book from each vacation, and with all Dolly does for books and kids, I'm surprised they aren't in her gift shops that her shows and parks dump you into after.
