What a dump!. I hope they sell it to someone who will actually clean the place and hire decent employees. If they didn't rely on students walking down as their only grocery store they'd already be out of business!
I like the selection of foods, meats, produce and the layout of the store. Also good prepared hot foods for snacks and meals. This is my "go to" grocery store when I am in Pullman.
A local grocery store where most students shop at here in WSU. Prices are about the same as QFC.
Stopped by for a few things & that's all I got. 2 small bags and a $65 total Insane prices for stuff like bbq sauce & basic sundries.
Clean, stocked store with pleasent employees.
The grocery is costlier than some other places, but sometimes I have found some fruits at discount. The store also provides the USPS change of address forms which you can use to forward your mails to your new address, and the forms are completely free, where as online you are charged.
Dissmores is very overpriced and pretty poorly managed. Sad that it s one of the only locally owned grocery stores here in Pullman, but I wouldn t waste your money. It s ridiculous how they have 5-6 checkout lines and even during peak periods like Friday/Saturday night there are only one or two of them open with huge lines. Honestly I think it needs new ownership or management.
The produce clerk was very helpful. I have switched to Dissmores now instead of Safeway because of the level of old fashioned helpfulness that Phillip Z showed our family.
I want to show love for the only local grocery store in the town, but the place is basically a glorified gas station when it comes to selection, freshness and prices. They have a prime location and do hold the honor of having the biggest beer selection in town.
Megan at the register pointed me towards some roses that were free in order to complete the I hope your hangover goes away transaction I needed to make. The conversation and service was great. As a SM myself, I would definitely hire her for making my customer service experience much better than how it would ve been on any other register. 10/10
This place has gone downhill! The staff is usually high or incompetent. There will be 15 people in line with one checker, and the checker will have some long conversation. Its dirty and much of the food is expired. If the location wasn't amazing, it would be out of business
