Discovery Suites Review

The hospitality was out of this world and the biggest surprise even coming in at 2 am was the treats and welcome banner. Everyone there was great and the breakfast buffet is the best!!

I came from a business trip in Singapore to visit a friend in the Philippines way back 2012. Annie helped me to hail a taxi although I can see that they've been through a lot since day shift. Very very good service. Everything was excellent from the prime22, and guest relations. Thank you. And I am thinking of going back.

One of the best few accommodations i have ever stayed. Though the facilities are somehow aged a bit, but the service is definitely covers the shortfall. From the reception to the restaurant, everyone is polite and professional, most amazing is the houskeeper knows me by name and known I have requested not to clean my room in then past two days, how amazing to know the service to this level of details.

Definitely recommend and I would very likely will stay again my next visit.

Opps, the location of the hotel could be somehow an issue, if I have to be picky. It is directly opposite a big shopping mall Podium and SM Mega mall, which is extremely convenient for shoping and food, but it is also a double edge sword for the traffic. Typically you may have hard time on the traffic congestions or for Grab drivers to accept your orders.

Nice hotel to stay, very close to the shopping mall

Worn and dated. Much like a dating website, the reality when you meet in person is very different from the pictures posted. Staff is accommodating. Dining options are limited internally, but location is quite convenient to a wide variety of shopping and restaurants. Major problems with the wifi in the room, which was a significant issue for me as a business traveler there to facilitate a group of 45 people from across the globe. Frequently had to stand in the hallway on another floor to get connectivity.

The hotel interior is nice, specially that the center is open givng the hotel a wide or spacious feeling. But the lighting and total ambience seem to be a bit dead. The pool is also situated kind of awkward and the view is not nice anymore.

I felt like the hotel doesn't have enough life in it. It also made me feel like its a ghost town. Maybe the staff are few and there's not much going on in the hotel.

Location wise, is perfect very near the shopping centers of Ortigas City.

Overall I think this is a good hotel, its just that there is something lacking.

Stayed September 2013, traveled as a couple

A spacious and comfortable room. There are many types of breakfast.
It was very disappointing that even though I put the tag for the morning cleaning request on the door, it was not cleaned, and there was a late call when I called in the afternoon.

Good driver only inside the car smells cigarette it makes my sinusitis getting worse

Good Concept of Service Apartment

This is good place to be in if you are planning your stay for more than one week. Given the kitchen facility and lots of malls and day to day usage shop is in close vicinity, this place guarantee comfortable stay in the heart of city.

One of the most unforgettable place i had visited. Clean surroundings, good food and good customer service. Keep it up!

This hotel is very nice. With good food and good room service and besides its very close to the malls.

My husband called in advance that we will be celebrating my son's birthday here.They surprised us with a small birthday cake and a banner for my son, my son loved it.Staff are all courteous. We will keep coming back.

4 star hotel. Next to Podium mall and Wolfgang steak house.

With wide choices of good food. Warm in the room even if aircon temp says 18 degrees but all the same it was a good stay.

Rooms are huge and staff are very friendly and accommodating. I had a problem with my room, and the staff offered me to transfer to a new room. Breakfast buffet is not huge but all the basics are present. The omelette station has a long queue though. So better request for your eggs early.

Wonderful location, wonderful rooms, great service. Hard to go wrong with this choice.

I first stayed in Discovery in 1999 when they opened, i remember that the entrance was then at the rear unlike today. Nonetheless, the service, the rooms, the efficient and professional staff of Discovery have never wavered and have maintained their 5-star standard throughout the years.
The rooms offer variety from 1 bedroom to 3 bedrooms and its fully equipped kitchen is the hallmark of Discovery that will make any mother so happy and contented.
The food quality is excellent be it room service or their fantastic breakfast buffet. The location is excellent as it is walking distance to SM Mall Edsa and Robinsons and across the street, there is Starbucks and excellent restaurants.
Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Discovery for family vacation stay when visiting/holidaying in Manila.

Been there 8th times.. Consistent HQ service. Just one thing, naluma na ang property esp.yung rooms. But hoping (sure it wil be) for renovation or something..

There are also mega malls around here, so taxis are very difficult to catch.

Very comfortable and clean!!! Excellent service!!! The rooms are neat and the ambiance of the hotel is very relaxing and also the food that they are serving are really good and delicious. The pool is cold and there's jacuzzi beside it. The hotel is spacious and beside it is seven eleven so you will not worry about what you need because you can buy across the street

Very comfortable and well-managed hotel in the center of the Ortigas business district. It is not a five-star hotel, but you can find anything you need. The bed is very comfortable, and aircon works well. Breakfast is quite tasty. The swimming pool is small and not so nice. What amazes me is the excellent level of service here. I will be happy to come again.

We had celebrated my son's 10th birthday last Friday to Sunday to this wonderful hotel. It was an overwhelming surprised with a cake and a banner when we arrived. You have exceeded our expectations in terms of welcoming your guests. The hotel was quiet old but well maintained. I supposed that cleanliness is the hotel's priority. It was clean and spacious. The staff are all accommodating and all nice. When we arrived in the hotel, I thought that my son has a fever, so I have requested for a nurse to check his temperature. The nurse arrived in no time and it was ll good. Breakfast is good (though limited menu). We had a blast and my son enjoyed his birthday stay-cation. Highly recommend this hotel to a family bonding/any celebration or gathering. Will definitely comeback with the whole fam :)

The junior suite room was good as well as the food.

Checking in was smooth, the bell service was fast and very polite, that's Robert. Melvin the front desk was great went over the details of the hotel.

It was a memorable experience for a newly wed, maybe they can have a complimentary wine to the couple.

Conducted a planning session for a client here. The projector needs bulb refresh since the lumens life is already very blurred. Support team also very slow and parking spot given is only one. Won't recommend using again.

Place is usually clean. Guards and staff are kind and accomodating.

By and large the hotel is good. Good location, opp Podium and walkable to megamall or Shangarila mall. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The only issue was the traffic noise, esp the cops sirens.

I stayed at Discovery Suites for4 weeks during the summer of 2016. Staff is super friendly and called you by your first name. Rooms spacious and clean. The only issue I really have with the hotel is the occasional bugs and the breakfast was always cold and the coffee is not what it should be.

5 stars for them! I really love the place. It has a good ambiance and their staff is approachable and they assist you immediately. I also love the food they serve. #BUSOG

In love with this place. Such beautifully designed suites with such a good service. They organize a personalized welcome for you in the room by sending in some desserts and putting up a banner with your name. It was indeed a home away from home experience for me here. Food spread was absolutely perfect. It has swimming pool, gym, clinic and other facilities. Trust me, you won't regret coming here, infact you'll want to stay more.

Didn't stay here, only an office visit. But the lobby & reception area is very impressive!

Great value and spacious rooms. Food - breakfast could be better. Parking - on peak days no parking for short staying guests. Service - warm and pleasant. Check in - waiting time is between 15 to 30 minutes during peak days. Internet - okay. Amenities - has a gym.
