Discount Party Store Developers are terrible. Don't waste your money going to Vegas for training. Everything with the store and inventory seems great till they leave. Then you find all the horrible mistakes. Buyer or investor beware, beware and beware. Just so everyone knows they compensate any store that gives them a good review or they get a referral from. They will leave you high and dry. After a year and a half open we are still finding mistakes they made. Good luck to anyone who deals with them your going to need it. They don't set you up for success, They set you up for failure

DRSS helped make our dreams of becoming business owners come true. Before using them, we researched franchises and found that franchise owners still had to pay hefty fee's. We decided to go into business for ourselves and DRSS guided us in every aspect of getting our business off the ground. They are very professional and will deliver.

Wonderful Company to work with! DRSS helped us with every step of making our dream of owning our own business a reality! Friendly people, knowledgeable in the field of retail- every step was easy and FAST! From start to finish, we had our party store- Have A Ball Party Supplies in Elko, NV, up and running within 3 months! Our store is beautiful and full, and a great asset to our community! I would strongly recommend that anyone who is serious about owning their own business, and is willing to put in the time and effort, use DRSS to get started!

This people are very very dangerous, be careful if...

This people are very very dangerous, be careful if you get a call from them. Don't trust them and waste your money. They promise a lot of things and they rush you to the process. Once you start working with them they won't give you a break and you will not have a time to think again and again about whats going on. They will put you from one department to the other and within a few period of time they will take half of the payment and the other half in few days, then they will start playing their bad game.
They do all of the first steps very very fast and once they took the payment they will start changing the build-out appointment. Once the build-out team came to your store, they will through all lots of junk and trash which worth only half of the described dollar amount on the agreement. You ask the invoice... the answer you get from the build-out team is that is not their job and they advice you to contact your trainer or the management. Thats your money, so you keep asking for the first few times they will answer your calls or reply to your email but after a few conversation they will start replacing management people and they keep asking you to explain them from the beginning. They will keep telling you that the other guy left the company and replace by another untruthful person. There is no way you get the invoices because that's how they steal your money. Be-careful, be-careful, be-careful

I've been open since Nov 2013 and DRSS really help...

I've been open since Nov 2013 and DRSS really helped me through the process of finding a location, financing, my leasing contract, merchandising, ordering and building/setting up my store and many other things. Unlike owning a franchise, I felt I had a say in every step of the process and at any point IF I wanted to I could've stopped and said No to anything I didn't like/agree with. Some owners might not like having a merchandise package pre-set for their 1st order/opening but it's truly the best way. No one knows based on your location what is gonna be hot or not. Just because it's hot in many other locations it might not be the hot item for your store. So after the initial opening, you have 100% freedom to re order an item or choose something different based on customer feedback. This isn't a franchise, do what you want. There is no sure thing in anything you do. I've learned for my particular store to have a small amount of an item but have lots of variety and it has been great for me. Some vendors might not be so flexible with having smaller case sizes for what you want and we've learned that there are SO many choices/other vendors to order from out there that we typically end up much happier than getting stuck with lots of something that didn't end up selling. DRSS is very helpful anytime I need to call and ask for advice with a product or vendor or a display or anything at all. Remember it's advice, it's not a franchise, do what you want. Some things work out great, others don't. You really just have to keep talking to your customers and find out what is popular for your location. I also HIGHLY recommend attending trade shows like toyfest and ASD here in Las Vegas (they are here twice a year). This gives you a chance to meet with current and new vendors, touch and play with new merchandise that might interest you and you can do this on your own or a representative of DRSS can spend time with you to help you as well, it's totally your choice. All I can end with is what you get out of your business depends on the effort you put into it. It doesn't run itself. Thank you DRSS for what you've helped me with and the flexibility to do what I want with my own business.

They were amazing in the planning and opening phases of this business, helping me to understand the ins and outs of the Pack & Ship industry and the various companies. They continue to be a huge help. Whenever I need guidance or just a quick answer, I can pick up the phone or send an email and know that an answer or the guidance I will be there.

As I was looking to open my Pack & Ship type store 10 years ago I was happy to have been able to work with the group that is now known as DRSS. They got my business off to a nice start and I have been free to grow my business as my community needed it to grow. Thanks DRSS for helping us start our success story.

DRSS was our first choice when we looked at starting a retail business, specifically in the area of party supplies. From the initial discussions, then to design then on site training to the build out of our store, the staff of DRSS were professional and displayed the right level of guidance to provide us the needed information, suggestions and ideas to get our store opened. That was in 2012 and we are still in contact with the staff that provides us the latest information on trends and support. I would recommend anyone considering opening a store to get in touch with them immediately.

Rude representatives. They spam you with preset messages but when you email them they send you a one-liner asking for money before you begin. No introduction, no thanks, no explanation of services or HOW they obtain financing. Just pay us $500 to starting talking.

From looking for a site for my store to building i...

From looking for a site for my store to building it out to now two years later, DRSS has been a great partner. They are truly vested in helping you set up and start your business without the franchise fees and headaches of learning everything on your own. The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable and always willing to offer advice and help, even now. They got us started on the right foot and if we ever expand to an additional location, we'll certainly be using them again.
