What Are The Final Paycheck Rules If You Are Involuntarily Terminated Including in a Lay Off?

If an employee is involuntarily terminated, the final paycheck is due within 7 business days or by the next regular payday, whichever comes first. If the final paycheck is a check or money order, it must be dated for that payday (post-dating checks is not allowed).

Larry was the technician who came to install my parent's satellite. Very pleasant, very accommodating and very professional. He knew what he was doing and made my parents (who are 90) very satisfied, as he took time to explain.

I was supposed to have a Ring Video doorbell installed. When the technician arrived, after introducing himself the next thing to come out was an excuse of why he would NOT be able to install the doorbell. I dont think he was very knowlegeable of the installation procees and instead of giving me suggestions I found myself giving him suggestions. He proceeded to call his Supervisor , which in my opinion was a very unprofessional women, that suggested I cancel the order without any alternative to getting my product installed. I will never use this company and Amazon should reconsider using this company as well.

Worst company I ve ever worked for. Lied to from day 1. Was promised a certain dollar amount for a sign on bonus to be paid in 3 installments. Finally got the 3rd installment 2 weeks late and it was short $500. Been trying to get an answer why and still nothing. The management is pathetic. Now, after saying for months that we are NOT losing any contracts, we re being told they voluntarily gave up a HUGE contract and almost all of us are losing our jobs. I would not advise ANYONE to look into employment with this company.

Direct Sat has the Worst Service or Lack of Service. This company was contracted by Direct TV to install an upgraded system. After more than a week attempting to get an appointment they finally scheduled me, for Monday Afternoon between 12pm and 4pm. Sunday I received a text message confirming my appointment. I had to take half a off work in order to make this appointment happen. Monday Afternoon 3:30pm, there office calls me to inform me they have no technicians available and that I have to reschedule, There best available date is over 1 1/2 weeks later. First, I had to take half a day off work to accommodate there schedule and then they don't have the decency to notify me earlier or the day before. The best part I get and attitude from them because there's nothing they can do! Then they switch me over to Direct Tv and I get disconnected immediately, I attempted to call them back and I get zero response. THAT'S GREAT SERVICE!!!!!!!

This place is ridiculous!! My parents are 87 years old and are having problems with their dish!! When you call, you get the "run around" or an answering machine and they won't return calls!!!!!!!!

Worst company to work for. If you like being lied to sign on and see how bad you can be treated. You can't advance at this company based on job performance it is done by plant managers advancing their friends and denying techs that do good work advancement. Now if you are a customer and they installed you dish on you roof check for leaks, there are a lot. If so contact directv and file a damage claim. If you are stuck in contract, contact directsat and request a copy of the contract and they have to provide or there is no contract, a lot of people got out of contract this way. If they have the contract see if it is your signature and not the employee. Good luck if they have been to your house.

I'm very pleased with the installation on 6/19/2017 Drew 608476 was always professional and kind whenever he had to change something or needed something he came to me for the final decision He was respectful and made the whole experience comfortable I would highly recommend him!!
