A workshop for volunteers was hosted by volunteer coordinator Brianne Coffil at the main floor performance space of CKUA,'s building, a reconstruction of the 115 year old former Alberta Hotel. This listener supported public broadcaster is Canada's oldest public broadcaster and it is excellent at curating a vast array of musical genres and providing educational programming for over 91 year. Brianne Coffil and Mark Rogers are excellent ambassadors for this unique station. One wants to work with them to be fellow ambassadors. Keep up the good work, guys!!

Ckua has great variety and very few commercials. It's broadcast across Alberta and on the internet worldwide. The personalities or DJs that they have are wonderful. They play independent artist and songs you wouldn't hear on other stations. They never over play any songs.

Great place to visit, and a highly enjoyable, welcoming place to volunteer.
