Attended my granddaughter's graduation ceremony. Pleasant experience.
This school is great! You come here as a freshmen not knowing anything and in my case thankful for being accepted, but then you leave the school with a CAREER. That s amazing and not only that you get academics and shops. It s not like other vocational schools! Highly recommended.
Aside from several teachers treating me so poorly for my narcolepsy/insomnia and anxiety that it meant I dreaded going to high school on some days and severely impacted my academic performance. Pretty great school! Don't be like me, if your teachers are giving you a problem and you're starting to hate school because you feel like they dislike you and you're losing motivation, visit the Administrator office and report it. Or have your parents call and file a complaint. You can have your classes switched, you can get different teachers that have respect for their students. Make your experience at Diman enjoyable.
I wish I would've done that.
Anyways, the lunches are great, *most* of the teachers are respectful and polite. I think of this school as a hybrid of a public and a private school. Large funding, workshops that can teach you useful skills and even an open a road of employment in that field.
Maybe one of the best public schools in Fall River.
Give it a try, and please, take my advice. You may need it.
I know a few people that attend the LPN program at this school. The teachers are absolutely horrible to the students and do not follow criteria. They literally have students crying after class. They are extremely degrading and treat their students horribly. Please, if you re looking to attend a nursing program, find a different one. These people will destroy your mental health. Whoever does the hiring here should be fired.
The school seems too interested in it's image and PC culture rather than the best interest of the school. Given a certain change in employees leading to a lawsuit. On top of that the abuse towards the students that gets sweep under the rug is not good. When I attended the school the students were horrible to each other and walked all over the teachers. A miserable 4 years
