HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! HIGHLY SKILLED EXPERT DIESEL MECHANICS!!!!! ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IN MY 2O YEARS OF OTR DRIVING!!! VERY HONEST, HARD WORKING, RESPECTFUL, DOWN TO EARTH PEOPLE.
I am an Owner Operator. I broke down approximately 30 miles from here. I had several engine sensors go hay wire (Oil pressure sensor, both crank sensors, on a DD15 engine, etc...) When I initially broke down I personally replaced the oil pressure sensor. When this didn't work I had no choice but to get towed to a local shop or to "Freightliner" that was located approximately 90 miles away. I asked the tow truck company (Hillbilly towing , whom I also highly recommend) who they recommended. And they recommended this place. Initially, I was very skeptical because I have what I consider a newer motor (DD15). And in my personal experience a lot of mom and pop shops shy away from working on this particular motor.
What is the one fear most owner operators have? Electrical issues!!! I honestly didn't know what to expect? However, on the second day the issue was found to be the ECM was not sending 5 milli volts to one of the crank sensors. Therefore, the truck wouldn't start. Otherwise, the ECM worked as it should.
Tom (the owner), Jimmy, Matt, BOB, and the entire staff at this location treated me like family. I cannot thank these guys enough for everything they did for me. I feel blessed to have found this place and I will definitely use this place again for general service etc...Thank you for everything. I sincerely have no words to describe the job this company did for me.
