There is a reason this place has a nearly perfect 5 score...and has been featured in many magazines. True gem of Findlay...since I was a kid, this has been a fav. If you can't make it to Findlay, you have to order some stuff online.

Looks kind of like a 1950s ice cream parlor and Candy Shop inside. Longtime local business featuring homemade candies and chocolates. They also sell ice cream. Don't get me wrong, they're not my personal favorite when it comes to chocolates in general. BUT, they do make THE BEST (at least as far as I'm concerned) chocolate-covered pretzels in the whole Eastern United States. Well worth a stop if you happen to be over in that part of the state in the Beautiful City of Findlay Ohio.

Phenomenal sweets! Love Dietsch Brothers- every time I go up to Findlay I make sure to stop in for a treat. Dietsch Brothers has a great selection of pre-boxed, choose your own, and misc other chocolates as well as ice cream. I really love their chocolate covered graham crackers especially and their chocolate covered pretzels are the bomb. There's really a choice for everyone- even those who don't really like chocolate. They also have really friendly workers- seemingly always.

I am 52 years old. My dad was born in findlay and ate ice cream at dietsch's, I grew up having ice cream there, then my kids, I got to take my 7 year old grandson there today. I have lived in arkansas for the past 20 years and when I visit Ohio I always get ice cream and bridge mix. My fondest memories going up are of my dad or grandpa taking me to dietsch's. Thank you all for the memories!

Dietsch's ice cream is some of the best ice cream I've had in years. There are several flavors to choose from and the cones are fresh. The flavors are smooth and not overdone (chocolate, for example, doesn't taste too nutty). The store has a great selection of candy and treats and make great gifts. The ice cream parlor is clean and has plenty seating. The service is fast and friendly. The parlor is decorated with old newspaper clippings and photos. The parking area is newly paved and there is easy wheelchair access.

Obviously the best ice cream in Findlay, with an atmosphere reminiscent of an ice-cream shop from days gone by. Quick service, with a wide variety of flavors, especially seasonal flavors. Great chocolate as well, 10/10 would eat again (definitely sooner rather than later).
