Went to Dietsch's today to get a holiday gift. The line was long and there wasn't a good way to look at merchandise. Finally made it up to the cash register after a long wait. Cashier hassled me to provide an ID to use my credit card and then made a smart ass comment back after I let her see it. Clearly a holiday gift and there was no offer to wrap it or even give a bag. Now off to the drug store to get wrapping paper and a bag... Maybe next time I'll just save the step and go there for my seasonal gifts.

Great selection of ice cream flavors, and candies. The buckeyes are very lackluster as are the peanutbutter cups though which is a shame since the chocolate covered pretzels are the absolute best anywhere and the caramels are awesome. Chocolates are expensive approx $17/lb. Ice cream is reasonably price. A few tips...get the banana split to go, milkshakes can be made with any ice cream (my personal favorites are mint chocolate chip, caramel milkshake or a strawberry cheesecake, marshmallow fluff milkshake, get in line and keep moving the line does move fast.

I have been going to Dietsch's since I was old enough to eat ice cream. I love the quality and variety of flavors to choose from. The atmosphere is second to none. Last but not least try their chocolates(I love their peanut clusters). I have been known to drive the 65 miles from my home to Findlay because I am having a craving for Dietsch's. If you are driving through Findlay this is a must stop!

I love, love, LOVE all the stuff from here! All the candies and ice cream are amazing, and it holds a special place in my heart especially being apart of the family and growing up having this for dessert all the time! But the one thing I absolutely hate about the online ordering and shipping is the $50-$60 shipping fee you re charged just to ship one box of freaking chocolates!! Talk about outrageous! It s always so good and amazing to make a stop when I go back to visit Ohio or when someone comes down to visit me and I get some candy, but ordering online? You can forget it. I m not paying an extra $60 shipping fee just for the chocolates!! That s ridiculous. Especially when I m already spending a good $20-$30 just on the items I want. I really wish you guys would consider that, and/or fix it because that is way too crazy. I get chocolate and ice cream are very delicate, but nothing is ever worth paying that kind of shipping fee. I would be more than willing to buy sweets more often from you guys if I wouldn t be paying that high of a shipping fee!!

Wonderful shop full of chocolates and ice cream. Beautiful candy creations throughout the shop and tempting displays of chocolate and crafts for purchase. The ice cream side has numerous flavors and multiple ways to consume them. A must visit location, well worth the trip.
