Nice medium sized animal park with lots of things for children

Very spacious enclosures, clear tour routes, clean toilets, attractive gastronomy

Very nice in wildlands, how beautiful it was: nordicshow, the 2 playful young elephants, the beautiful parakeets, jungola with the beautiful climbing path, too many to mention; recommended

We were not really impressed. The safari section was fun. Feeding parrots and free-running monkeys and stuff. But the dessert section was very boring. Food stalls everywhere to get overpriced food. I think the park needs to become a bit more 'mature'.

Veel variatie aan dieren met grote habitat.
Meerdere shows. Safari leuk voor de kleintjes.

Veel dieren staan ver weg. Met name de leeuwen waren nagenoeg onzichtbaar.
Aangeboden souvenirs zijn m.i. verschrikkelijk duur.

Had a very nice day at 20-6. Everything nicely decorated. Just a beautiful park! Unfortunately no 5 stars because the hall guard at "jim jungle test" can not deal with people at all. We really do not understand that such people have a function where they have to deal with people all day. Fortunately, the people at the sea lion show were friendly.

Nice and nicely set up park but for families with small children (no adolescents). Waiting for attractions is normal, but waiting 1 hour for a 5-minute "safari" tour was disappointing. Something I found really unacceptable was the 10 for parking. That really makes no sense. Completely out of proportion. Emmen is not Amsterdam. Really a dairy cow. All in all a nice day out. Are we coming back? Do not think so. Other parks have more to offer.

No corona in Wildlands or anyway it seems. Veeeeels too busy. Park in in timeslots, but if still way too much at the same time. Everything is tight, cannot keep a distance. We went home after 15 minutes. Waste of money. Never again, not even after corona.

We drove 2.5 hours to visit this park and started the 'adventure' without expectations. Wildlands Adventure Zoo is a beautiful concept, three theme areas, each with their own character. Note that the park is still relatively young and that there are still plenty of growth opportunities. Many animals are allowed to behold in a non-traditional way. I do miss the link between the app and the park a bit, 'augmented reality' might be interesting for this park. The prices of food and drinks are also reasonable for 'amusement park prices'. I enjoyed the visit and would definitely go again if in the area. Very curious how the park will develop in the coming years.

Nice zoo where the animals have a lot of space to live. 3 separate worlds separated from each other: jungle, steppe / desert and Antarctica. Nicely set up.

Nice park. Well laid out and yet able to see quite a few animals. Lots of toilets (clean) and places to eat. Corona measures are clear. Only it is almost impossible to keep a distance at a window or viewpoint

Very beautiful and spacious park. All animals have a beautiful enclosure and look good. There is also an indoor play and climbing area for the children when the weather is less nice.

Veel lopen om dezelfde dieren heen. Mooie herinneringen aan het oude park. Had me verheugd op het vernieuwde park. Mooie gebouwen maar beperkte dieren. Vlindertuin niet veel verschillende vlinder. Het park teleurgesteld verlaten.
Veelste druk in corona tijd. Onprettig. Zoveel mensen hadden we er niet verwacht. Tafels waar iedereen aan eet worden niet schoongemaakt. Gelukkig hadden we zelf wat bij.

Heerlijke dag gehad in dit mooie dierenpark. Leuk en gevarieerd opgezet.

Verder: Er zijn plaatsen waar je haast geen zicht hebt op de dieren, alleen omdat er onzinvolle decoratie in de weg staat. Ook zijn er een aantal hekken waar amper overheen gekeken kan worden, een lange Nederlander zou dit misschien net kunnen doen, maar kinderen absoluut niet.

Tot slot, wat ik al eerder noemde en ook wel te verwachten valt: De prijsen. De entree prijs van rond de 35 euro is normaal, en het abonnement is opvallend goedkoop. Het parkeertarief is echter absurd duur, waar je minstens 10 euro betaald voor 2 a uiterlijk 3 uur staan. Het zelfde gaat op voor het eten en drinken in het park. Voor het bedrag waar je bij de McDonalds een compleet menu krijgt met een drankje, krijg je hier amper nog een simpel broodje. Dit is echter het geval in de meeste parken, dus reken ik dit ze ook niet te zwaar aan.

Eindconclusie: Leuk park, maar bezoek het alleen tijdens rustige periodes, want het park is absoluut niet berekend op drukte.

Blijkbaar ten onder aan hun reclame. Was nu eigenlijk tegenvaller. Wat adventure? Slap aftreksel van op een hoop gegooide goede ideeen uit andere dierenparken alleen dan slechter uitgevoerd. Onze kinderen en ik vonden het vooral veel lopen voor relatief weinig zien. En als je dan wat zag.miste ik bordjes met wat je zag. Blijkbaar is er een app die dat verbeterd maar dan moet je die hebben en dat kunnen.ze dan ook wel vertellen.

Very nice zoo with many extras. It was very hot today and that spoils the fun. It is quite a long walk to the different 'worlds', especially with the Corona walking direction. So plan your route smartly and don't expect to walk to the jungle boats from the indoor playground (recommended !!). The staff are friendly despite the crowds and heat. You can buy food and drinks everywhere. A nice zoo where you can easily fill a day.

It is a park where the animals do well. With a little imagination you are really on safari. Butterfly garden, hippos and polar bears super cool. The attractions have long waiting times on busy days. You could reduce that on a card with times. Restaurants are of good quality. Decent on the price but if that benefits the animals OK.

Very nice park. Lots of animal species, good facilities and tidy. The food and drink is good, but nothing special. Unfortunately, not all animals were on display, but given the circumstances (corona) they are well organized. Everything is also well indicated and people are encouraged to stick to the adjustments.

Afrader. Park is niet meer wat het was. Kompleet verpest. Kinderpretpark geworden met veel horeca en weinig dieren. 2 uur wachten bij een boottocht om een paar olifanten te zien. Nergens aanwijzingen waar je naar kijkt. Het park heeft de plank volledig misgeslagen. Heel jammer, Emmen had op Gaia na het mooiste park van Nederland.

Not comparable with how Emmen Zoo was. We have been entertained all day. (Family 2 children 1 and 6 years) and not everything seen. Fight was fun and you do not have to wait for hours. Also boat trip through the jungle recommended. It is more than a zoo, many playgrounds.

Fantastic zoo. All employees and volunteers work hard. It gets more beautiful every day. For all ages. Take a subscription and go there as often as possible. Every day is different!!

Eerlijk waar het is een prachtig park. De dieren hebben ruime verblijven en deze zijn mooi ingericht.
Vind ik het de moeite om vanuit de Randstad ruim anderhalf uur te rijden om dit park te bezoeken dan zeg ik eens maar niet meer.
Met Artis, Diergaarde Amersfoort en Blijdorp in de directe omgeving ontbreekt het Wildlands aan de Wow factor om het te verkiezen als alternatief.
Het is vooral een dure dag uit en zoals wij vandaag hebben ervaren een dag van veel en lang wachten. Het park is onpraktisch ingedeeld en kan de drukte moeilijk spreiden. Daardoor verdringen de bezoekers zich bij de verblijven en attracties. Het begon al bij de entree waar de apparatuur in storing was en iedereen door een klein poortje handmatig gecontroleerd het park binnen moest. Ook de truckrit door Serenga werd te laat voorzien van een tweede wagen. Gevolg lange rijen en huilende kinderen. Prijzen van simpele menutjes zijn belachelijk hoog en naast je 50 euro benzine moet je ook nog 10 euro + parkeerkosten betalen.
Voortaan blijf ik bij de parken bij ons in de buurt. Is gezien het milieu ook een stuk verantwoordelijker.

We were here for five hours but could easily have entertained us for a few more hours. Also suitable for a rainy day, the "Jungola" alone is suitable for a few hours of covered zoo fun. The staff were remarkably friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to answer your questions or show you the way. Nice that there are toilets in so many places. We enjoyed it and if we lived in the area we would definitely take a subscription.

Get a year subscription to enjoy all animals during the different (weather) seasons. They now have Ice Bears too.

It was very disappointing to me. I always ran out of time in the old park. Now back home in the car at 4 o'clock while we were there at 11:30. Long lines for the shows. This is not possible with a child with ADHD and a slight form of autism. I put a lot of money into creating a moderate park. What I also find a disadvantage is that you have to go back to the beginning for each area.

Been to Wildnights for the first time. You get a map for the evening route. This did not say where all the animals were. We have seen almost no animals, because it quickly became dark and many animals were inside. If we had received an ordinary card at 3 pm, we would have been able to visit the areas that were closed at night. Unfortunately, we have gone wrong because of this. My opinion now is that you go to Wildnights for the lighting, but not to see animals. Too bad that there are no special buses from the station to Wildlands drive. We go from the summer once to see all the animals and get a better impression of the park.

What a nice day we had, despite the rain ... Or you can call Wildlands a zoo I'm not out yet ... It's a nice combination of animals in their natural environment where you can experience something ... ed. Definitely recommended to go.

Leuk om een keer te bezoeken. Voldoende toiletten, parkeren prima maar vrij duur (10 euro).
Het was, ook in de zomervakantie, vrij rustig. Fijn omdat we zo overal gemakkelijk toegang hadden, jammer omdat het park op deze manier weinig levenslust uitstraalde.
De achtbaan is een leuke toevoeging. Misschien ook een reuzenrad/draaimolen/ andere attracties toevoegen zodat er wat meer levendigheid ontstaat?

Fijn dierenpark waar de meeste dieren ook echt een behoorlijk leefgebied hebben. Dat vind ik zelf altijd heel belangrijk en ik was hier wel enthousiast over.

Wel is de indeling van het park erg onhandig omdat je steeds weer terug moest naar het begin om naar een ander stuk van het park te gaan. Ook staan er overal foodtrucks en worden er shows met dieren gegeven, waar ik erg op tegen ben.

Ik vond het erg leuk dat er drie thema delen waren, erg mooi vormgegeven ook, er is echt over nagedacht.

Het aquarium was alleen een erg grote teleurstelling, dat stelde echt niets voor, maar ja ik ben ook het aquarium van Burger's Zoo gewend dus ik ben ook wel wat verwend.

Tip: Neem je eigen lunch mee want het eten daar is best wel prijzig.

Al met al een hele leuke dag gehad.

Beautiful park, we especially liked the butterfly garden. Walking back along the same route feels like lost time. I also think that there are very few shadows, on a sunny day that is not so nice.

Er heerst veel negativiteit rondom Wildlands. Op wat verbeterpunten na, onterecht in mijn ogen. Hoewel ik de achtbaan in een dierentuin (ook al is het een 'avonturen'dierenpark) niet snap, is het al met al een erg mooi park.

We starten in het Jungola (jungle) gedeelte. Hier kom je binnen in een mooi aangelegde vlindertempel, vanuit waar je je route vervolgt in de richting van de grote kas. Dit schijnt de grootste overdekte jungle van Europa te zijn en dat valt te zien. Het is een erg mooi aangelegde jungle waar de dieren zich vrij in kunnen rond bewegen. Hierdoor kunnen de dieren in sommige gevallen dicht benaderd worden of kunnen de dieren dichtbij de bezoekers komen. Er is veel te zien en qua fotografie is het ook een mooie locatie. Een vaartochtje langs de olifanten en de apeneilanden is een attractie van toegevoegde waarde. Na een wandeling door de jungle(kas) loop je langs het olifantenverblijf en de (zeer actieve) dwergotters terug naar het centrale plein.
In het Jungolagedeelte van het park zijn ruim voldoende dieren te zien. Van verscheidene soorten vlinders, varanen en een kleine krokodil in de vlindertempel tot een veeltal dieren in de grote jungle(kas) . In de kas leven verschillende apen- en (tropische) vogelsoorten en bevindt zich het binnen verblijf van de Aziatische olifant. Het buitenverblijf van de olifanten ligt op de route tussen de tempel en de kas, net als het verblijf van de dwergotters en de doodshoofdaapjes.






Kortom is het Jungolagedeelte wat mij betreft het mooiste gedeelte van de dierentuin en op zichzelf al een aanrader om te bezoeken. Het Norticagedeelte kan daarentegen nog wel wat verbeteringen/uitbreiding gebruiken richting de toekomst.
De kritiek over het bijna geen dieren zien vind ik ongegrond. Er zijn in het Serenga gedeelte en (zeker) in het Jungola gedeelte voldoende dieren (van dichtbij) te zien.
Persoonlijk zou ik het wel leuk vinden als er nog wat meer (echte) roofdieren komen. Wat tijgers in Jungola, luipaarden in Serenga en wat wolven in Nortica zouden niet misstaan.
Minpuntje is nog wel de prijs. Naast de (normaliter) behoorlijke entreeprijs zijn ook de consumpties in het park erg duur. Jammer, maar niet dermate dat dit je bezoek aan de dierentuin mag tegenhouden.

Had er meer van verwacht. Er wordt veel reclame voor gemaakt, maar als je daar ben vraag je je af: heb ik iets gemist. Het oude was in mijn herinnering beter dan het huidige.
Je loopt nu hele stukken zonder dat je wat bijzonders ziet. Misschien kan de bewijzering ook duidelijker, je loopt nu eigenlijk achter de meute aan.
Helaas 160 km gereden zonder een fijn eind gevoel.

Onbegrijpelijk dat een park als deze niet stampvol is in de vakantie. Dat is voor diegene die gaat wel een enorm voordeel...

Park is prachtig ! Goed verzorgd ook... de thema's die eraan hangen zijn prima en t maakt t dus zeer interessant voor de kids die al een beetje kunnen lezen en schrijven. Een mix van een dierentuin en attractiepark. Gedurfd ,maar erg leuk
