Awesome local bar. They seemed low on staff when we went on Halloween night, so drinks may take longer but they make up for it with great service. They've food a good selection of German beers & limited food options.

We were ignored when we arrived, so we decided to just sit down at a table. It was at least five minutes before anyone came to ask us if we wanted a drink, and after we received our drinks the waitress never came to ask about food. (We had to send someone to the bar to order) No one ever asked how we were doing, never asked if we wanted refills, never even brought us the check. (We had to send someone then too)

There didn't seem to be many people working that night (might just have been the one) so maybe it's not 100% her fault (though when I went to the bar to pay she was deep in a conversation about what beers Germans really drink) but that didn't make dinner any better.

Food menu extremely limited, overpriced, the food we got was ok but wouldn't call it good. Beer tasty but expensive.

Would not recommend.

Always a good time here, with a wide beer selection, interesting German food and a pleasant staff. They have a good selection of authentic beer glasses in which to enjoy your selected brew, including a huge glass boot. Gotta have a minimum of four imbibers for that one, or you'll be on the floor.

This place is really great. They offer a wide selection of beers and cocktails from both the front and back bars. The bachii ball play area is also super fun.

The food is super good as well. I had the schweinhax and was blown away with how good it was. If you get it ask for extra greens.

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food make this a great place for a after work stop but the amazing beer make it excellent! Recommend going hungry because the food is just as good as the beers.

The waitress here was absolutely amazing. Was pretty sad to not see Ayinger offered as it is at Feierabend, nor the kasespatzle. The service is better but the food is lacking, kitchen doesn't support much more than a snack. I'd go here for the drinks but elsewhere for food.

It's not easy to find good German beer on tap, but this is the place for it! If you need a break from the hop-obsessed PNW craft brew scene, head here for delicious malty greatness.

Knowledgeable bartender, good German food as well.

Fantastic selection of German beer! I lived in Germany for 6 months and can say that this is one of the most authentic German pubs in Seattle. As a wheat beer lover, I highly recommend the Pfungstaeder Weizen Hefe. They have some rotating taps based on the season - at one time, they had the local beer from where I lived in Germany on tap!

The food is pretty good too, but a little pricey. I would recommend the Bratwurst mit Sauerkraut or the Bratwurst sandwich (though the roll they serve the sandwich on is not authentic at all). Love the sauerkraut. The giant pretzel is great and they have delicious mustards. The Landjaeger snack plate is really small so you might be disappointed.

Service can be quite slow when it's busy, so be aware.

Fantastic selection of beer and a good staff of employees that help you feel very welcome. Dart boards are a great addition for hanging out with friends and trying European beers. Free Die Bierstube stickers!

Excellent German pub located on Roosevelt in north Seattle. All beers are tasty German imports served in third, half, and full liter sizes. Food is German style pub fare, pretty tasty, but make sure you arrive before 10pm if you want to eat, because they close the kitchen at 10. Pretzels still available till 2am close. Chill atmosphere.

Solid German beer spot. If I lived closer I'd totally hang out here. Tasty pretzel and much better atmosphere than the German spots in Cap Hill and U district (unless you like a frat-like atmosphere...). Check it out!

Drinks were fine. Slow service. Food took 40 minutes, and was underwhelming. I went in hungry and left hungry. Meager portions for what they serve, especially at their price point. Ended up getting a couple slices of pizza from wholefoods when I left.

I thought that there was one person on staff, but who knows? Bartender made our drinks and food, seems bizzare not to staff the place with atleast 2 warm bodies.

Don't recommend.
