Really enjoyed the food and service, both were first rate and the ambiance was refreshing
Plenty of food on our plate, but cold and bland. They added a 4.2% non-cash charge that we were not aware of until we received the check.
The Wine and Dining was great. Husband brought me here for our anniversary. I highly recommend it. We will be back!
Delicious and well home made Italian food ... best we've had in many years !!! A good restaurant to eat near the Denver, CO airport. A good atmosphere.
Very great food and service! Perfect for family or events. 5 stars all day
My favorite Italian food. Been going here for years. Never disappointed. Great food, Great family.
Great near airport dining. Seafood is excellent. Staff are very diligent and numerous. I didn't expect Denver to have such great pasta especially near the airport. If you're staying in the airport area or just looking for a meal once you land then stop by DiCicco's. Also, a great place to watch any game because of the numerous amount of TVs. I greatly appreciated being able to watch the Capital's playoff game.
Very nice setting. Help is friendly. Food was pretty good.
I cant say enough nice things about this place, the food was superb and the service was very nice. Great spot to take your significant other for a nice quiet meal. We will be back soon.
Good service..very detail oriented paintings on the wall..best spot to take ur lover and enjoy calm beautiful dinner...
Had an excellent dinner here. I was in the mood for something on the spicy side, and when no dish on the menu quite struck my fancy, I asked if they could prepare a puttanesca. The manager came out and asked me specifically how I wanted it, and they cooked up a great puttanesca for me. Service was good, too.
They had old Frank Sinatra duets projected on a big screen. It was actually an enjoyable compliment to the meal.
My Sister, niece and I are Celiac. The three of us along with another niece and my father who are not celiac wanted to find a place near the airport to have a family dinner togehter. I wrote an email to DiCicco's on their website and asked explicitly what celiac safe options they had. They responded via email telling me they had gluten free pasta, pizza, and other options. We got to the restaurant and sat down. I had ordered a bottle of wine and we asked about some appitizers. The server decided to talk to the manager when I asked about cross contaimitation. The result was that the pasta, which is boiled in the same pasta water as the regular pasta, and the pizza which was placed directly on the oven stone that the regular pizza goes on pretty much guarenteed that the food is cross contaminated and not celiac safe. We ended up having to cancel our order and leave to get food elsewhere. I feel a little bad leaving such a poor review because they were knowlegable about celiac disease and cross contamination (hence the 2nd star) and very friendly but whoever was responding to the email should have responded honestly instead of leading us to go to their restaurant only to have to leave. What a waste of our time, and time is precious. We ended up eating at Red Robin which has always had amazing celiac safe options available. I can't reccomend this place if you suffer from celiac disease.
It was clean.
Service was slow.
Did not like my calzone, but it was bi2.
If you are staying by Denver Airport, go to ANY other restaurant besides this. Our server did not greet us for over 20 minutes, and then proceeded to give us a whole history lecture about the owner of the restaurant claiming it was built by hand from the ground up. It looks like a poorly converted warehouse space. After another unwelcome story about him killing a deer, we finally moved into ordering. He took three of our orders (four people at the table) and started to walk away when we reminded him we needed to place an extra order. He gave us another long winded story about working too many hours.
After some more waiting for our Caesar salad appetizer we ordered - our server (Brandon) came and dropped off some calamari that we didn t order. Looked gross, we sent it back with him.
Then the food came out. He had claimed everything was made fresh to order. I got spinach ravioli which were clearly defrosted frozen, swimming in sauce and paired with some canned artichoke not even mixed into the dish. The other dishes were similar in quality and we easily could have made them better at home with little effort.
They forgot the salad the whole time and then when I reminded them they forgot it again. They also forgot to bring boxes and the check for another 15 minutes until I went and grabbed someone at reception to complain.
The server acted like he was doing us a favor to comp a salad we didn t get, but charged us for everything else. The fact they charged us $85 for this terrible meal and service is frankly ridiculous.
I would never go here again and recommend you go anywhere else. Worst restaurant experience I ve ever had.
Live band and all the customers dancing made for a fun evening. Good was mediocre and it was difficult to hold a conversation. If you don't you for the band, ask to be seated in the back if you care to hold a conversation.
Good solid establishment. Food food and staff and there can be a wait.
Outside it is super fancy, the food however is medium at best. With the prices and the ridiculous 4% add on if you are not using cash (look at the picture, who uses cash in fancy restaurants these days), it was disappointing.
The best part was the Bruschetta as a starter . The pizza felt like a ready to make dough, with jar pizza sauce, and bagged shredded cheese. The olives were canned black olives. That might be ok in Little Cesar's, but not for a $20 pie. Pasta was better, but still very plain, and does not justify the price.
Would not come back
Love this place. If I lived in the Denver area, I'd be a regular. Food is good and the service is excellent, but the things that really set DiCicco's apart are the decor and the ambiance. You have to experience it to really appreciate it.
Would have been a five if staff was faster, and the water for hot tea was hot enough to actually brew anything. Beautiful scenery, delicious food, and unique entertainment.
Great food and atmosphere. Amazing service with friendly staff
My 10 year old Grandson took me on a date last night to DiCicco's....what an awesome meal...they NEVER DISAPPOINT
food is good. they need to update the prices on their online menu. they differ by atleast 3USD
Good homemade recipes, wonder service & atmosphere.
Came to Denver for a nice romantic 4 day get away with my husband, We happened to drive by the restaurant and decided to stop by because it looked so nice. But, when we walked in the front door we were immediately taken aback by the smell of raw sewage. We ended up standing by the front counter for about 2 minutes waiting for someone to come out to greet us but no one did. By the end of the 2 minutes my stomach was turning and I couldn't bring myself to stay to eat. The interior looked nice and tidy and I would have LOVED to stay to have dinner but the smell was overwhelming. I really wish we would have been able to enjoy the place. :(
Nice looking place, but the food was so disappointing and massively overpriced - veal overcooked so bad it made rubber seem tender, pretty much raw uncooked green peppers with it, and massive chunks of under-cooked squash and zucchini that turned my plate into a swimming pool. Waitress seemed to be hurried and wanted to rush me out of there even though the place was pretty empty - well except for the flies. You know you've hit bottom when you regret not going to the chain restaurant or fast food instead.
Everything was perfect. The food was over the top. The atmosphere was authentic and comfortable. Our server Isaac was fun and very attentive. I would recommend the bolognese sauce. I'm not local but look forward returning to DiCicco's on my next trip through the Denver airport area. We had a wonderful experience.
Fun place to eat with cool intimate booths for couples.. cool cinema concept. Food was good but a little pricy for portion size. Probably best choice for a good dinner in this area.
Wonderful dipping sauce with crusty bread! Veal piccata excellent, as was the tiramisu! Even a nice video of an Italian concert!
Very mediocre food & had to ask for olive oil and Parm to go with the bread. A bit pricey but still in addition will charge you for the credit card to run. AND if your waiter/waitress makes a mistake when entering your order, they CHARGE YOU!!! I would never go back! Total disappointment
Found this place the night before catching flight from the airport. The service and food was excellent. Our server Eddie made great suggestions from the menu. Also enjoyed the live music. If you live local, we'll worth the drive.
A very nice family style restaurant. Environment is a very classical ballroom feel with a large stage and occasional live music. The service is usually great and the food is delicious and consistent.
Food and service was good. It could use and update especially the carpet.
Very unique and conservative deco from Italy, really good food and exellent service's
This was one of the best Italian restaurants that I have ever been to. In my opinion, the Tiramisu was easily the best food on the menu, or at least the best one I've had in a while. For anyone at all who likes Italian cuisine, I strongly recommend this establishment.
Amazingly kind staff. The chicken parm was reallllly oily though.
This was like stepping into an old time Italian restaurant. The service was spectacular and the food tasted absolutely wonderful. When I visit Denver again I will be back.
Can't believe they are charging 3.95% if you use a credit card. Been going there since they opened. Plus I own a business and my credit card charges aren't that high. Good food. Shame on owner for jabbing its customer. It's a cost to doing business. Or he trying to hide Some Cash coming in. I believe people will get smart and you will hurt in the long run. Us locals who would promote your business not anymore.
The restaurant wasn't very busy despite the number of cars in the parking lot. The atmosphere was good once you got used to the big screen. The service and food was pretty good. Yes, I would recommend. Yes, I will likely go again soon.
Wonderful atmosphere! Stopped in for lunch, and it was well worth it! Cory was very entertaining and professional all mixed together. We will definitely be back for a dinner show!
Great restaurant with very delicious dishes! Highly recommend it.
The entire place smells funky, like a mild sewer or humidity smell. The food was ok, my minestrone didn't seem fresh at all, the shells were soggy. The margherita pizza I ordered was nothing special, just ok, the sauce was watery and it was very bland. I've had the margherita in other places, less expensive places and it has been amazing, like old chicago. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant is very nice, aside from the weird smell.
Overpriced, bad service. The food that we ordered was not great. Definitely overrated
More show than go.
At a time when many merchants are moving away from cash, a surcharge for using a credit card is bucking the trend.
Service was superb.
Food was OK at best.
The food was so amazing, especially the lasagna. I will definitely be back.
Yummy food , very pleasant atmosphere and accomodating staff.
The marinara is perfect. Had chicken marsala last night and it was good. Had rigatoni with a meatball and a sausage and both meats were so so.
We met someone who was traveling out of DIA here. It was a nice experience. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and our server was very nice and had a great sense of humor. He brought my son a scoop of ice cream because he was a Bronco fan, and it made his day (+mine)!
Food was four stars, but the service was so slow, unfriendly, and inattentive that it ruined my experience, and I had to take a couple starts off.
My husband and I came to Denver for a weekend trip, and when looking for a romantic place for dinner we came across DiCicco s and we were stunned. The food was great, the staff were extremely friendly, but the best thing about our experience was the environment. It was beautiful and unreal.
This place is very overrated. We received our food and the noodles we're undercooked the chicken was gross. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Waste of time and money. I honestly don't understand how the ratings are so high.
Good food! We were skeptical due to some negative reviews, but I'm glad we tried it. The alfredo is amazing---strong wine flavor..amazing!
Awesome marsala sauce. Cool ambience. Limited menu for gluten free and pascatarian.
Some of the best Italian I have ever had. Homemade pasta is worth it.
Pretty good. Not as good as Olive Garden but better than Fazoli. Weird smell when you first enter though
Beautiful place, the atmosphere is phenomenal , and the food is superb. We decided to have our nuptials here! We had plan a very big wedding, but with the 3 day blizzard in march, and the airport closure 90% of our guests where flying in, therefore we had to cancel, and turn it in to a very small reunion, this was the best decision we ever made by choosing this place!
Spectacular experience all the way threw, stupendous waiter, beautifully done live performance by a pianist who knew how to set the mood. Wonderful experiance and would love to go again.
If you want to be underwhelmed and pay too much, well by golly, this is your place. I went in when it was slow, unresponsive service, others got offered extra bread but not my family. Steak was well done, I ordered mid-rare. Drinks were always empty. Wrong salad dressing and I got to pay $171 for 3 adults and 2 kids. Employees were nice but unattentive. Won't come back. Elvis on the big screen was the high point, I'm not an elvis fan.
Came in for lunch. Great Italian food. Great, friendly service.
Beautiful restaurant, there was a pianist or keyboardist? Food was good, service was good also.
Outstanding atmosphere and wait staff. It looks closed from the outside because there are no windows but this is done for good reason. The ambiance is secured with out outside distractions. Fantastic bread baked in house. Generous wine and beer list. Kid friendly. Vegan and gluten free friendly as well. Me, my wife, and my 18 month old daughter had a great time.
Great food, beautiful decor, and very close to the Denver Airport.
Just came back from there this evening. Server was nice but food was very slow--nearly an hour for a small pizza. Lots of ingredients but tasteless. Pretty expensive for being mediocre.
Great service at a good size table upstairs. Food was Ok
Loved the place! Excellent service and food. Stopped on the way to the airport and will most definitely stop the next time we are in the area.
Love the booths, they are closed off and very private. Bread was delicious, just wish they had better butter. Staff was very attentive and food was very yummy
Great food - fresh, tasteful, generous portions, made to order! We had minestrone, chicken parm, seafood fettucini and creme brule. Homemade table bread was amazing. Ambiance is 80s Italian kitschy with good music (if you're a fan of Sinatra). Friendly staff. Don't be discouraged that it's not a super busy restaurant or may take a little longer to get your meals. You won't be disappointed. A little pricey but worth it for quality homey traditional Italian food. We'll be back!
We took our parents here for their birthdays on 10-28-17. The service was good, the food was decent, but the whole place reeked of a sewer smell. It completely ruined the whole experience, and we do not plan on going back. My brother-in-law mentioned it to management, and was told there was some kind of leak that was still drying. If this is the case, it was probably a health hazard, and they should have closed the restaurant until it was resolved. This was supposed to be a special night out for our parents, but turned out to be very disappointing. The staff had to know about this and I feel it was very irresponsible to remain open.
I used it for lunch. Spaghetti is overcooked and Saizeriya is more delicious. The ribeye steak was very delicious so I recommend it. The salad is also delicious. The service of the staff was also good.
If you go here, get the steak and cheese sandwich. You WON'T be disappointed. It was so good I went back and got another one later in the week. Fuhgettaboutit.
Scratch made meals at affordable prices, overly large restaurant too match the overly large portions. Do not expect blazing fast service, quality takes times. FYI they DO NOT HAVE A MICROWAVE IN THE JOINT. If that means something to you. It did me.
Great customer service and the food never disappoints. In Fri and sats they have a musician who plays nice music and not loud
If you are staying at a hotel near the Denver Airport this is a pretty neat Italian restaurant. You should definitely try it out. Much better than you would expect in this location. The inside is a bit kitsch. The food is really good though
This place is really good. Portions are huge. You won t walk out hungry or disappointed. Definitely stop in and treat yourself to some great food!
Great food, wonderful service and atmosphere! I will definitely go back.
Nana's feels like I back in Italy amazing home cooking
