Friendly staff.......nice room... buffet really good...I love the sashimi..
We had a nice experience and the staff are very accommodating and very nice. Keep if up! Thank you
Outstanding staff service. Polite and professional. Especially Martin and Karen.
Room 9/10
Service 9/10 (should get 10/10 but buffet restaurant staffs needs more attention to customers.)
Atmosphere 10/10
Old (historical) hotel but very clean and well maintained. I will go back for sure.
Exceptionally friendly staffs at entrance and check in counter.
Friendly, very attentive staffs. Nice facilities. Love the New Year countdown
Home away from home. This hotel is worth coming back.
Bed sheets are ripped Had a family emergency asked to leave 1 night early and they said no wow ever thing I hered about the hotel and owner So not true will never stay ever again I from the us also over price food Sofitel so much better coming back next mth won t stay here very disappointed coming from a man on tv that said we come first I don t think so
ancient hotel with smelly & old furniture rooms , staff is unprofessional specially the receptionist (long check in process) , Excessively security check every time you enter (like your entering an airplane ), I don t recommend it for you ,you have more and better options.
Skip the 1450p buffet breakfast, nice clean rooms, friendly staff
Nice place. They have small pool. I like the breakfast buffet.
Fab hotel. Nice food. Good ambiance. Accommodating staff
the staffs are kind and nice and this place is one of the greatest hotels in the phillippines and the room that we stayed is cold and nice
Well maintained dated 5 star hotel with awesome employees. My room on the 11th floor smelled like paint but they were very accommodating in offering to switch my room. I settled with the humidifier they supplied me which aired out the paint smell.
The staff are accomodating. But breakfast buffet have limited selection of food. :( and chocolate drink not good at all. But I still like their ensaymada :)
Soooooo much improved! From front desk to security, to over all staff service, to facilities and room amenities. It's been a while since we were last billeted here. 5 star for me!
A 5-star hotel overlooking Manila Bay. The hotel is close to tourist attractions such as the US Embassy and Rizal Park.
Very friendly and accommodating staffs! Keep up the good work!
Nice room and view of sunrise and sunset. We have also requested for crib for our baby and they have it. Iron is also available in our room. The buffet breakfast is good but nothing spectacular.
Love the lunch buffet here. The service and choice of food was excellent. Need to use formal dress. Using sandal is not allowed to enter.
Very nice place. Excellant buffet. Clean spacious rooms. Love it
The best place in malate, very kind and elegant stuff, big room and nice bed.
Only 4 stars cuz the edges of floor carpets aren't clean. Generally spotless, staff are polite, especially SG's, Jacuzzi is great, pool not that great; rich life ain't for me.
I was here today just picking up some gifts from my cousin. Yes just infront of the hotel as I can't even go inside as it is very hectic. As in so just waiting outside infront of the hotel actually in between of Ramon Magsaysay Center. And I noticed that they have washing area before you go inside the hotel... Cool... Pandemic really show us how to take care ourselves.
The room, amenities were good. Staff were friendly and nice. It's just more costly than other 5 star hotels within the area and no breakfast is included. Although it is more accessible with different kinds of public transport.
The lobby bar is a great place to hang out. And the native ice cream has a cult following.
Loved the ambience, the staff are very accomodating, dined at the japanese restaurant for my daughters 13th birthday
Cozy place nice food few selections but yummy waiters are friendly nice...
Room is clean and fairly big! We had a reunion at their amethyst ballroom, and most of the staff were very helpful, except some of the waitresses during the end of our stay in the ballroom, they were just talking at the back and were not attentive to the guests' needs. During check out time, it took us almost 30mins to wait for the elevator! Overall, it is still 4 stars for the room, hotel, food and most of the staff.
my first stay here was great, though not the memoeries..hahaha... spacious rooms, 5 star quality. great locations and views the Manila bay. might catch some sunset as well.
the second time was to attend a christmas party. Met the a senator as well... that i met when wasnt a senator yet... historical place for me.
Its more on Classic look.. im more on modern type of hotel
is your Reception manned? several times I called and the operator transferred to Reception but no luck. A 5 star hotel should not have this kind of issue.
The best ensaymada is in Diamond Hotel. Try their new merienda offerings: ube rolled ensaymada, palabok in shooter glasses, etc. Just visit and see for yourself. Kudos to Diamond's pastry Chef!
Food in the lobby is amazing. They finished the theater, too.
The hotel where Prime Minister Abe stayed when he visited the Philippines
Japanese origin, but acquired and operated by San Miguel
It is located in the center of Malate and next to the Manila Bay, so it is good for people with Dan carriage (Kalessa) and gays to solicit a lot around the hotel...
The wifi is slow but the people that work here are awesome and the dining is unbelievable
One of the classic 5 star hotels in Manila. They serve the best Ube Ensaymada. The buffet dinner is still good but it was better years before.
The hotel is comfortable. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The service is friendly and fast
I like the ambiance...the staff are friendly...I like the food...
Food is good and nice place to view the sunset at the bay...
Nice and big conference room with great food and service.
It is good.
The pool is better than Pampasi.
Most security for a hotel I've ever been too, awesome top floor club and amazing pool
Buffet dinner was okay. Food choices/options are so-so but the way they cooked the food especially the made-to-order is average. Fruit juices were not available but you can request coffee other than brewed. The way they setup the buffet is not the most convenient either. The chefs and staff tho are very accommodating and friendly. The chef sent us specially cooked buttered garlic shrimps, baked mussels, and maki.
Hotel I visited 11 years ago.
The room view was great, but I really liked the spa.
The bathtub in the suite is also large and spacious with a marble-like bathtub. Fruits are also given to the table for free.
The view of Manila Bay from the room is the best. Prime Minister Abe also used this hotel.
Excellent location (only 20 minutes from the airport, Intramuros and close to shopping centers), has all the services and amenities, quality restaurant, beautiful decoration and good security controls.
