Excellent venue to learn about Wildlife and tour Environment
Couldn't go in but really enjoyed a close examination of the machinery of Cricklepit Mill.
These guys do amazing work. It was only until I spent some time talking to one of the Reserve managers that I realised quite how in-depth and important their work is. Definitely a charity worth supporting!
Really disappointed to arrive and find it is closed for visitors. It would be helpful to put on the website that it is only open for working staff. It just says it is open 9-5 on anything I could find.
No mention on website, but closed due to Covid when we got there. What a waste of time travelling all that distance.
This is a wonderful place to visit. For such a small area it has a huge amount of nature value. There are bug hotels, pile of stones, bird boxes, feeders and a small wildlife pond. Many birds and bugs on the times I've visited and the stream is a great place to unwind. The centre inside has friendly staff and plenty of information for anybody wanting to volunteer or learn about nature. The next time you are in town doing shopping I'd recommend making a small detour and have a look around. Not sure of there opening hours, think it is Mon to Fri only.
Super friendly staff and you know what, it's time to start supporting nature properly, we're losing it hand over fist.
This may be a small are for a wildlife park, but the nature here is lovely and it's a great little breath of fresh air near the centre of Exeter. So many birds here, my little niece really loves trips here. Would definitely recommend visiting.
