When you call don't expect to talk to a person. You are directed to voice-mail and it takes a couple days for someone to get back to you. This includes appointments for COVID - 19 testing. If you miss the call your stuck playing phone tag. Its much easier to go to Dorchester County where no appointment is needed. Its so easy and the staff is friendly.
I tried to get help with quitting smoking awhile back and it was the same thing. Swnt to voice-mail and the person who called me came off as annoyed. The only thing I can say positive about this health dept is the process of getting a copy of your birth certificate. Quick and efficient. As for friendliness I got the impression that I was putting them out. I expect much better than this being that Talbot Co is one of the richest counties in MD. I will be going to Dorchester for any needs from now on.
