Great, friendly staff in an awesome building with lots of character...but the beer is bad. I mean, if you're a Budweiser fan...you'll love this spot. But if you enjoy good craft beer, this really isn't the spot for you.
Food was good, waitresses decent. But their drink selection was lacking. Lots of beer but no drinks outside of it, and their food selection is less than you can find in a hole in the wall bar.
Great beer brewery and restaurant. Went there to grab some lunch and beer. They have a small patio seating and a nice indoor seating with the brewers. Ordered the Detroit Burger which came with seasoned fries and a 1529 IPA. The burger was cooked great and the beer was good. Overall, good place for some lunch and grab a beer.
Such a great place to go to before a sporting event (Red Wings, Tigers, Lions, Pistons) to get a quick bite and some drinks.
*Plan Accordingly* We decided to go here before a Red Wings game because we've been walking past it for ages and have never had time to stop in. Luckily, we made the effort to get to the Z Lot early so we could stop in for food and drinks. It's very busy all the time it seems, so plan accordingly.
We had the French Onion Soup, Tomato Basil Soup and Margherita Pizza during our stay, along with some Detroit Beer Company beers. It was funny when we walked in, because the windows were all steamed up and it smelled like they just opened the vat of beer to check on it or something. I knew we'd be getting some good local beer if we chose to buy some. Our beers consisted of their IPA and their Amber Lager (at the time). Nothing beats a locally brewed beer, let alone a beer that's brewed right in the restaurant.
Definitely will be stopping in here more often and making time for this place, because their food and drinks are really good and you can get in and get out in a reasonable amount of time if you choose to.

I tried the new brownie dessert tonight! It was so decadent and delicious, caramel sauce with sea salt sprinkles was the perfect touch!
Was heading to the ball game with my friends and needed to stop to grab a bite to eat. This is my first time in Detroit and this place does not disappoint, but will leave a great impression on me. I ordered the Beer League Chew and the chicken sandwich and it was all very tasty. 5/5 would recommend to new people to the big D

Our go to place before the game!! Good beer and food to match. Cubano sandwich is very good!
