Beautiful modern architecture but the tour of the museum is quickly done in just 1 hour

Temporary exhibition rooms are too small, traffic is difficult. The permanent exhibitions are really nice. Minors have free entry even unaccompanied by adult

We find in this museum the collections of the old Guimet museum, but better. Fun, interactive and educational course. Children will love it and adults will enjoy it.

The building is worth a visit for the views of Lyon. The generous exhibitions are aimed at a family audience. Content suffers from it, the subject is confined to discovery and initiation.

Beautiful museum visited with a very interested 8 year old child.
We saw 2 of the 4 permanent exhibitions: Origins, Stories from the World and Species, the Living Mesh and the temporary Makay exhibition.
It is informative while being fun.
Reasonable price: 9 for an adult and free for children.

First of all the problem comes from the place where you can park, there is only the confluence car park which is quite far away, including for the disabled.
Then I was used to it and I thought I had found the spirit of the Guimet museum which was transferred here and frankly I would say it's the mess or I don't have an open mind ^^
No I was disappointed ..

Complete museum which knows how to attract the attention of visitors by its construction, its location but above all its ephemeral themes.

The downside remains the price of parking for those who come by car. Even with the reduced rate, parking is still a big expense for the exit.

Best museum I've visited. Free of chagge for students under 26yo. This place is very dark which makes it very comfortable to stay for hours and enjoy the expositions. I recommend to all visitors in Lyon!

A remarkable museum because of its architecture and its content. Two levels of exposure. 1st level: temporary exhibitions. 2nd level: permanent exhibitions. A quality restaurant in the brasserie on the ground floor and a cafeteria on the top floor with two views of Lyon.
