I've never had such a horrible experience in my life at a restaurant.
I ordered 2 bubble teas which came to $14.35. When it came to pay, I asked to use debit, and I am use to paying with interact tap and so I tap, expecting to pay. The service was honestly nothing good worth leaving a tip for , but I never was prompted for a tip and left it at that.
The server (Daniel) comes back to me.and said my card didnt go through and that I didn't leave a tip. I thought I misheard him so I tried again and intentionally left no tip. The card didn't go through again and he brings it up again that I didn't leave a tip. I told him that I leave tips at my own discretion , only If the service is great but not only was this terrible service but one that doesn't warrant a tip at all.
I then had to pay for my $14.35 bill with a $20 bill because for whatever reason my debit wasn't working. I asked him to bring me back $5 instead of the $5.65 that is owed. He beings be back $4.00, and tries to shortchange me. Now I'm furious and demand my full change amount back because they're now trying to dupe me.
Finally , after all is said and done, the manager had the audacity to come up to me as I'm leaving to also remind me I didn't leave a tip.
SERVICE SUCKS, WATCH THE CHANGE THEY RETURN TO YOU, AND BE MINDFUL OF THEIR HORRIBLE PRACTICES. I will definitely be reporting this place to the labor board.
