I think it is extremely important to judge a shop based on how they handle issues with their work, not just if there is an issue in the first place (We re talking about highly sophisticated and finicky European motorcycles here). Desmoto completed the extensive 18,000 mile service on my Ducati a couple months ago. When the job was finished, there was an intermittent mystery backfire and no check engine light or normal symptoms to clue the team in. They worked tirelessly to replicate the issue and solve the problem. It turned out to be the oddest of all things-a circuit that lit the taillight, handlebar controls, and kill switch was shorting out at the connection under the seat. Who even knows who is to blame for that problem in the first place? No matter. Scott, Brien, Alex, and Darren treated me like a valued customer and won my all future business from how they handled this less than ideal scenario. If you re looking for an honest, handshake, eye contact kind of shop that will take care of you and your machine; look no further.
