This place is great. No high pressure sales techniques like I found at some other places (I won't mention names, but it begins with an S). It's clean, staff is nice. Owner is nice.

A promotion was going on stating "5 tans for 24.99, spray tan included". This ad was once again promoted saying "one week left!" I went in and purchased this excited to use the tans on the spray tans. The day of the purchase, I used one spray tan. A few weeks later, I went in to spray tan and was told by the woman working that there were zero tans on the account. She was extremely rude. She told me that the promotion had to be used during that time frame ONLY. I asked her "who uses 5 spray tans within 1 week?". She rudely told me that the promotion is for each level of tanning and that it had to be used within that time frame. Nowhere on the ad was that stated. At no point when it was purchased was that explained to me. They will not give me a refund. I am not a confrontational person so I decided to just walk away and she continued to chase me out the door still talking and arguing about it! This place is shady and the customer service is terrible.

Nice staff, clean, small business, not a chain. I like to support small businesses. Affordable.

In normal times, we enjoyed it. They are kind, fast and it is clean. In pandemic mode, the business practices were shady. They informed us when they were closing, but they never sent an email when they were opening back up. This is problematic when you're on a monthly plan and they just begin to bill you without informing you. Once we found out they cancelled our membership, but didn't refund anything. Businesses that take advantage of the COVID-19 situation are not businesses I want to do business with.

I've been a customer of theirs for quite a while now. The customer service is outstanding!! They have helped me out more than a couple of times. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy. I will continue to go here as long as they let me!! 5+ Stars!!

I have visited many nice tanning salons over the years but Designer Tan in Olathe takes the cake! On my very first visit I knew I would be a repeat customer. A super nice young lady..Becca..took all my info at check in. Not only was Becca genuinely friendly and welcoming she was also knowledgeable about their products and the tanning field in general. She took the time to explain packages, bed options, lotion options and skin care. No heavy sales pitch..just wanted to help educate me to help me decide what would work for me! On my second visit..days later..she even remembered my name and had me all pulled up in the system!! Salon is super clean and organized, prices are fair and bed..and bed selections..are amazing. I have had so many compliments on my tan..even after only 2 visits. I honestly feel welcome and like family when I walk in. Again, I have been to many nice salons in the past but literally none as friendly as this one. Even if u are happy where u tan now..I challenge u to give this one just one try. You will be sold!! I wish I would have found Designer Tan from the get go because what I thought was great customer service and great beds has just been blown away by this place!! Thank you, Designer Tan and thank you Becca for keeping my faith in quality companies and over the top customer service!!

Excellent variety of tanning options. Very helpful and friendly staff. I was well tanned before my vacation and did not burn at all on the beach. I highly recommend this business.

I go before our trips to Mexico to get my base on. One thing that always frustrates me is you never really know visits you have left. Last week you have several, today it's my last visit.
