Went to ER where I was immediately seen. 2 - 1/2 hours later, I had received an MRI, a CT and all of my blood labs having been completed. I ended up staying in the hospital for 5 days. While there, I received great care from all employees from House keeping on up with the nursing staff being professional and empathetic.

Had to be airlifted out of glamis dunes with broken Sturyem and ribs very painful when I got to icu they
don't give crap about you nurses don't do any work it's the CNA that do everything while lazy nurses sit in there fat asses . No pain management what so ever been here's for 4 days no respect for patients that are in real pain , they just put you off till the next shift. When you ask for anything the nurses act like you are bothering them and they get to you after you start yelling in pain. Worst health care for folks that pay top Dollar. CNA Should be making the big money they do all the work. Even nurse admit that every one heres is drug addict thats wye patients that are really sick or injured suffer the most .
Have bed sores on my butt and back from laying in bed for days with no Ned changed. Feel like I've had worst experience than the crash and injury I've had made me feel like I was a drug addict for asking for pain management. If you need real Hospital Services do not come here's. You will suffer and pay for it.

My visit was for a Trauma incident I suffered on November 2014. The trauma Dr.'s Ercole and others were amazing, professional and highly detail oriented. the surgeons who performed my "knitting together" Dr. Stabile was equally amazing. I couldn't have been more impressed with the Dr.s here at this facility. **One item of note/concern**: The Filipino nurses on staff during the night shift should be reevaluated by the hospital administrator, you should seek the patients who have been under treatment for their evaluation of their performance. They (these particular nurses) need to put their patients first not the red mark on their own nurse chart. Otherwise, the other nurse staff was very professional and intelligent.
Thank you again Desert Regional!

Someone very close to me just had a major reaction withdrawing from a medication. While in the ER, to say he was a "difficult" pt would be an understatement, however the staff did what was needed to save his life and treated the family with the utmost respect and consideration. While in the ICU, the staff treated him very kindly and gently. When I left him to come home, he told me he felt like he was being left "in good hands". I am an RN myself, and I understand how some minor things can get missed, but I was extremely impressed when I noticed every little detail of pt care had been done, including prophylactic measures to prevent complications. This person has been terrified of hospitals all his life, however, he himself is very grateful for the compassionate care he has received. Thank you to everyone, and I couldn't recommend this hospital any more highly!

My husband recently was hospitalized for 5 days. Upon arriving at ER he went into V-Fib caused by TPP and critical low KCL. All his nurses and doctors just were incredible! His team of doctors were excellent Dr Kazmouz, Dr Bhakta, Dr Guleria and Dr Gourghery who took great care of him from beginning to end. I can't thank them enough. I especially want to thank everyone at ER. You all saved his life. Andre in ER, Dale and Candy on cardiac floor were just amazing, they made us smile and laugh through hard times. Thank you again for you kind hearts.

Was involved in a single Desert Razor recreational vehicle roll-over, airlifted from Anza-Borrego Springs to this Trauma Center. Incredible nursing care from the moment Emergency Services from Borrego State Park arrived, then handed over to Life-Flight Service, then arrival to Trauma Center ER. Most professional, consistent, genuine 3 days of Nursing care I've ever received (every shift) from RN's, CNA's, Staff. Thank you RN's Emma, Sinela, Rebecca, Angelica, CNA Mary-Joe (MJ) and follow-ups from Staff Nurse Management every morning (thank you Dr. Carballo for over seeing my care). My apologies for the other names I just can't remember....and again, thank you from me and family - home for Christmas.....Merry Christmas to you all !!!

Most unprofessional hospital switchboard staff I have ever experienced. I need to speak with a supervisor asap regarding the staff working the switch board at 11:45am (besides Anedra).
I was yelled at, Hung up on and 3 of them continued to hang up on me every time I called back or never answered my call at all. My calls were forwarded to random departments. Including the neighboring doctors office. How can a hospital with such great doctors have such a low performing switchboard staff whom deals with the public direct? My mother was discharged from outpatient surgery at 11:15 am and I called to please be connected to the nurse or department. This was a horrible failure and Unacceptable on ALL levels. This needs to be addressed for this behavior makes your hospital and what it represents low performing with zero customer service and no skill on how to serve the needs of those who call.

I had great care in the ER on our vacation to Palm Springs. My nurse was the best and very patient with me. I should have requested to stay longer in the ER for a week later had to go to Urgent Care for the same problem. My only grip is I live in another state and have requested my medical records many times. I have emailed and called with no response. Very upsetting!!!!

Desert Regional Medical Center is part of a 3 Hospital Network managed by tenant Hospital group. I was there to do some programming for a neurostimulator but you can go there to see the doctor to go there for surgery for emergencies for physical therapy it just depends on what your need is. They are very helpful at the main entrance to get you to the right place.

We are so lucky to have this hospital available. I had my baby boy on June 26 at 2:45am after arriving at 1:30am. Everyone from the security guard who helped with the wheelchair to get me to labor and delivery to all the nurses and staff who helped with our stay. My baby boy is healthy and I'm extremely grateful for all the essential workers who helped my little family during our stay. We are being discharge right know. No words can describe the wonderful job they are doing. Everyone works as a team . Thank you all!

I spent almost 2 full months in the hospital with a bone infection that was incredibly difficult to diagnose due to the bug that was causing the infection. I could not have asked for better care than I received there. The Doctors were great. The nurses were phenomenal. They made a very tough situation bearable. I did not feel as if I was being cared for by complete strangers. I felt like I was being cared for by true friends. To the nurses on 4 East, my doctors, and other hospital staff involved in my care, I cannot thank you enough. You guys ROCK!

My daughter was at camp in Palm springs, when I received a call that she got ill. I drove 2 hours to see her and take her in to the hospital because she wanted us to take her in and not call an ambulance. while driving to her I had her on the phone in speaker, calming her down and telling her to call 911 if she felt like she couldn't wait for me any longer. I checked in to the nearest hospital at palm springs (Desert Regional Medical Center) RN that happened to be at front desk when I arrived was SO RUDE! I checked in and waited and waited to be seen and after 1 hour not seen by any doctor or any one in that matter, I left and took my daughter who was in so much pain. She was trying to stay clam and be patient. But this hospital is trashed out. One teen arrived with her mom very calm and looked around and saw there was allot of people waiting and she yelled and PRETENDED to be dying by screaming and fake crying and what did this OVER STAFFED with lazy people hospital do, they took her in before everyone else that was there waiting for hours to be seen. Because my daughter was not yelling or screaming it didn't mean she was not in severe pain. SO unprofessional!! I drove from Palm Springs to Riverside 1hour and 20 minutes to (Kaiser) where within less than 5 minutes my daughter was hooked to an IV and treated in a bed in the emergency room. The doctor came to see us like 3 times while there , they took blood test and urinalysis test and every result was given back to us within one hour of being there. It is worth every penny we pay for Kaiser they are so PROFESSIONAL! At Kaiser you don't see people walking around doing nothing and You see people really working hard on providing the care these ill patients deserve. Just they way they should be seen urgently in a EMERGENCY ROOM, it is called EMERGENCY for a reason. Instead of an emergency room this place walks around like it a regular medical office. If you work at a ER, be prepared. Not every medical group will be as professional as Kaiser Permanente, but every medical group should treat their patients they way they deserve. With URGENCY! And they should be seen a suitable time frame. The staff is so inconsiderate, they are laughing loudly among themselves while there is people ill who wants be be around people laughing while feeling ill. You work at a ER be considerate.

I am having the worst experience I have ever had in the ER today. I have been literally sitting for 3 hours waiting for an ultrasound my Dr ordered for a blood clot. That is truly ridiculous no one seems to care at all. Nurses are rude and Security is rude also. They had no where for patients to sit in waiting room but many many extra people waiting with others. I told them there was no where to sit and they made fun of me as I walked away. Very unprofessional. I will go to Eisenhower from now on.

I went here recently after being taken here in an ambulance after having to pull over on the freeway due to vomiting. The nurses were extremely rude and the staff just assumed I was on drugs. I actually had one of the medical staff ask me if I was on meth while I was getting sick and could barely talk. Meanwhile I was completly sober and on my way to work. They assumed this just because stagecoach was going on. The nurse that put in my IV was joking saying it s his first day and how he hopes he doesn t miss while they knew I was experiencing anxiety due to constant vommitting. The other nurse told me the anxiety was in my head Sent me home after giving me some morphine didn t even check to see If I could hold down water.

I went to my doctor for a follow up after turns out I had a stomach virus they were 0 help at all.

My brother went in by ambulence last night around 5:40 pm. Now,26 hours later, he is still not having a foot surgery scheduled for his gangrene foot amputation surgery.

He is infected severely and his life could be threatened.

The first doctor who saw him, upon admission to the energency ward, forgot to call the podiatrist.

How Unprofessional!!!!!
It's totally Unacceptable!!!!!

So 26 hours later, he is still not scheduled for the surgery.

We have no clue how long he has to wait.

My brother is an Asian, I wonder if it has anything to do with this Inattentive, extreamly delayed Un-caring.

Hospital staffers, doctors and nurses,
Please, please look into matter!

From a very, very concerned sister who is very disappointed by the Desert
Regional Medical Clinic doctor's Unprofessional behavior.

Dr.elledge, in the ob department needs to be fired and have her medical license taken for refusing medical care, would not recommend delivery your baby here, or going here in general. They gossip more then high school girls, thought I would find a good hospital to have my baby at but none in palm springs are good. Now I have to have a infection for weeks till I see my ob doctor. Great. Also came here a weeks ago and got a iv and now I have a blood clot in my arm due to the hospital not doing there job right.

My mother has received wonderful care at DRMC. I can't believe all these negative comments on this thread.
My mom has been there now for nearly a week and has been given excellent treatment and great kindness.
Hospitals aren't perfect but as hospitals go this one is just fine.
I can't expect the staff to be waiting on my mom hand a foot....but she has received a lot of attention.

I am sorry people have had bad experiences but unless people are treated and cured within an hour visit...I guess the hospital will always get a bad review. Doctors, nurses, techs, chaplain, were all very kind.
Medical professionals work 12 hour shifts. Exhausting work.
They also can't be 'perfect' during that entire shift. They are human.

I would say my mom had a great stay but it wasn't. At first the nurses were very helpful and kind. Towards the end of her stay she was treated horribly. She was supposed to have physical therapy and they didn't come around to walk her. The nurses and cna's didn't come around. Her doctors were excellent. Yesterday when she was discharged we were rushed out of the room. The nurses didn't make sure her oxygen tank was on. Overall I'm very disappointed.

Had to come in with my partner who has medical issues and is trying to receive help for it. The front office staff were extremely disrespectful to us, batting my partner these weird looks because of his condition. And the staff assumed I was using hard drugs and treated me as such. I was having chest pain and was enduring alot of stress from trying to provide the care to my partner that he needs and deserves and the hospital completely neglected to treat him like a human being. Some of the staff were friendly but the technicians and nurses in the ER room are some of the most disturbing medical "professionals" I've ever had to work with. They have absolutely no regard to the mental well being of their patients, they fight and argue with patients, and they ignore patients, which also happened to me because I was hungry and haven't eaten for 3 days and one of the nurses told me, "too bad, what to you want us to do about it?" I came to seek treatment for my mental health issues and to make sure my partner was going to receive the medical care that he needed. But this entire process has been extremely dehumanizing and I just hope that for the hospital's sake that they at least introduce some type of program to train staff to treat their patients with respect and like they are actual human beings, very disappointed and it has been a traumatic day to say the least, sad.

After being involved in a head on auto accident I was transported to Desert Regionals Trauma Dept. I say confidently had I not received the high level of trauma care I would not be here to give thanks and praise. A broken neck, both lungs collapsed and unconscious for 7 hours. (Plus a myriad of fractures and other chest and abdominal trauma). Their diligiance and top notch care allowed me to walk out a mere 10 days after. I credit that medical staff and the rescue crews in concert for allowing me life today

Awful emergency room and doctor. Will avoid at all cost. My 1 year old son was in the emergency room due to breathing problems. Before admitting him, a personnel came to collect money. She was extremely unfriendly and talked to us as if we weren't going to pay. The worst part was the stay at the hospital waiting for Dr. Cohen to come and let us know about our son's situation. He showed up for a minute (literally a minute) and said, "I'll be back tomorrow" without any explanation what so ever. When he came back the third day, it was only to let us know our son will be discharged (again, 1 minute). We finally had to stop him and ask questions. He appeared to be very annoyed with the questions and our concerns. The only helpful people there were the nurses and technicians from the pulmonary department who did breathing treatment for my son. We actually got more useful information from the nurses than Dr. Cohen. He couldn't have cared less about our sick son. I have not met a worse doctor!

Great hospital! If you can take photos your at the wrong place you should be in your doctors office not making others to wait! You need to learn when a person should be in the emergency department. Also the government determines when the hospital can discuss financial matters with you. The people who collect your address up front are not nurses. The nurses are those who are do vital signs give you medication...
Thanks

I had an angiogram with Dr. Grace Huang and everything went well. Loved the team in the Cath Lab all were very attentive and caring. I needed a Stent so I had to stay the night and was assigned a bed in quick order. My nurses were as good as they could be. Shootouts to my care team including Joanne, Shere and my CNA Janna she was the always checking on me and caring for a patient with bad incontinence must have changed his bed completely and bathing my roommate. Always cheerful and willing to do what was necessary and kept that positive attitude needed in a hospital. Great team all around.

Never in my life have i been treated so poorly so many times. Due to my health i unfortunately am referred off to Desert Regional or Mirador. Some of the most unprofessional clinicians in the business. This place should be gutted and restaffed by the people who put Eisenhower together. The ER is filthy. God forbid u be admitted. I was admitted and put in a bed with a spiders nest in it. Gross and indecent. I would only go there if i was about to die and if i survived trauma i would immeadiately check myself out and goto Eisenhower. This hospital is in the dark ages as far as patient compassion and bedside manner. You will be judged if they dont like your lifestyle and your healthcare at this point could only be described as they would rather you left and stopped wasting there time. Ive actually had those very words said to me shortly after being punched aggressively in the lumbar region by an ER Dr. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST.

This is the 2nd bad experience I have had at Desert Regional Hosp ER. First time the nurse switched my ID bracelet from my right wrist to my left and she put someone else's ID on me. After they shot me up with his medication the error was discovered and she quickly cut it off and threw it in the hazardous materials garbage. She played it off as no big deal.
Tonight I spent 5.15 hrs there, didn't see a doctor and a a Physician asst told me she was giving me a prescription. I saw her for about 1 minute. When I questioned not seeing a doctor and would my ins company get billed for a doctor seeing me she said we'll I spoke with a doctor. Then while she's suppose to be discharging me she's back there eating a sandwich while I am still waiting. Worst hospital ever.

My husband had a terrible experience there too. Horrible lack of care and discharge was absolutely disgusting.

I will never go back there. Also I am a Social Service Administrator for a large agency and I will make sure none of our clients use that facility either.

This place is terrible. No doctors work here. The most time any doctor spent was 45 seconds. So many pokes were made to find a vein that a tourniquet was used to pop a vein, then they forgot to remove it. Orders are contradicted daily.

This used to be a great hospital. Now it's just full of people who don't care, don't do there job and liars. Sad when you prove that a nurse is the direct cause of your loves one pain, and his health getting worst and report it just to have the person laugh at you. Tell "so" then get away with it. Then have doctors speak to you like your a moron, and administrative support tell you they will see you within an hour @10am and then have a no show for.......so far it's been hours but I am sure it will turn into days. And they know you cant report them to APS oh but they can you and they can write a report on you and make all kinds of bull up. I am glad I don't hide from as and my door is always open to them, law enforcement too. Sad that every time they have made hurendious reports about me they have been proven false and unfounded. This place is where you come to get sicker, get a worst health issue, or just plain out be youthinized. I am so very very thankful to the nurse Patrick on 2nd floor and to the rt nurse who went against rules to make us ask for a second opinon. You sir ( who's name will remain anonymous for his safety ) single handed save my daddy's life. You are the reason we As a family still have faith in drmc.

My Son was treated in the ER a little over 6 Months ago. The ER team was great in terms of actually taking care of my son, HOWEVER... when it came to the business office/ER Clerk -- that was a completely different situation.

VERY disappointed with the follow up related to the ER balance/bill, I attempted 6 times to reach the business office manager (NEVER CALLED ME BACK)... Aside from the fact that i was transferred to different parts of the hospital I finally reached Hospital Administration who was able to get me to the right person.

Caution to readers ALWAYS ask questions related to any outstanding bills and WHY were you charged.

I had my first daughter there and the OBGYN was great but the nurses and pediatrician on call were a nightmare! They kept drawing blood from my baby saying she was sick but never told me what was wrong nor taking her to intensive care. They gave her antibiotic two days and that was it. I never got answers, the nurses and the pediatrician were very rude and treated me in the coldest numb way possible.
Then today my sister in law had her baby there today and also had a bad experience with Nurses and ended up having a c section and an infection that could have been avoided!!!

Earlier this year in April, I had taken my friend ...

Earlier this year in April, I had taken my friend to the ER the day after Coachella had ended. Her throat was starting to close and it was getting more and more difficult for her to breathe. The woman at the front check-in desk was incredibly nice and more than welcoming considering the circumstances and did what she could to ease my friend s stress and fear seeing as she was very obviously panicking. I would think that a person who is coherent yet showing visible and physical signs of discomfort as she was, the medical staff would do their due diligence to help the situation in any way, shape or form but no. They saw that we were still wearing our Coachella wristbands and took that as the sign to go down a different form of questioning for us. Did you/what drugs did you take? I see you went to Coachella. Now completely disregarding any potential merit we may have had before the nurse saw our wristbands. I have never seen such a blatant disregard to someone as quickly as this nurse did. I get it, Coachella is probably the bane of everyone s existence in the area when it comes around but hey, it is nobody s fault but your own that you are in a workplace you may not thoroughly enjoy. Continuing on, my friend continues to be uncomfortable, scared and completely ignored as now the nurse we saw was now too good to pay any attention to whatsoever. I grab the nurse to tell her that she needs to come and deal with this instead of chatting with her colleagues in the back and pretending like you re waiting for meds to dispense. She tells me that my friend is fine and there s nothing we can do right now. I do not accept this and told her to tell my friend directly seeing that SHE is the medical professional and not me. We are FINALLY waiting to be completely discharged (which also took an unreasonable amount of time, probably about 2 hours later). Why am I writing this review several months later? Because it truly scares me to see how many similarities there are in some of these reviews. The fact that medical staff can get away with treating people with such little respect baffles me. TL;DR if you re able to avoid an ER visit here, you re saving yourself time and grief. Drive the extra 10 mins to get better service elsewhere and hopefully assistance from someone who doesn t care that you went to Coachella.

They saved my life. After going to Eisenhower a week prior I was given an antibiotic that didn't work on my problem despite my x ray results suggesting what I should be treated for. Eisenhower is more impressed with their marble walls and vip patients they have forgotten what they are there for. Desert saved both my mom's life and mine. P.S. I ended up at Desert via an Eisenhower M.D. referral, of course strictly forbidden under Eisenhower policy.

I called for my imaging cd and was told go to main entrance to access Medical Records. Went through the line showed ID only to find out medical records are next to the east entrance. Went back to my car and drove to the old old original hospital entrance On Miraleste , I was pleased to see many handicap spaces, went up to the Medical Records door it was locked and not an entrance, inside was the exact location for records. Had to walk to the entrance around the corner and back through to records.
While filling out the forms, the bugs came out ( see photo) I remarked about the bugs and was told We have a lot of bugs right now I mentioned this is a hospital and received a shrug. Then was told go to radiology (Back where I started) (No Parking ) to receive my cd. Over an hour,no parking, bugs. I have lived here 62 years and want to be proud of our hospital but our bad reputation seems well deserved.

Worst hospital I ve ever experienced. I got into a motorcycle wreck in Palm Springs and unfortunately found myself at this joke of a hospital. Not only did they let me lay in my own urine, vomit, blood and other bodily fluids for over 12 hours they would talk back and argue when asked for simple things such as the TV guide, water, or a blanket, etc. I was verbally abused when I told the nurse that was assigned to me that the bed controls and nurse button would not work. The nurses are just about brain dead because it should not take over 10 tries to find a vein to draw my blood and they did not know how to make an IV stay in my arm.

I took my friend here for dehydration Sunday night while vacationing in Palm Springs. The entire ER staff: the front desk, security officer, nurse and doctor treated us with compassion and provided great service! Thank you for an excellent experience at your ER.

First, the hospital receives 2 stars (instead of n...

First, the hospital receives 2 stars (instead of no stars) because of some of the wonderful nurses and doctors I encountered. My hope is that these comments might cause the hospital to improve operations. Two reasons for the low rating: 1. Emergency room management, 2. Billing.

THE EMERGENCY ROOM: The emergency room could be better managed and the waiting room is way too small for the population this hospital covers. When my Mother was taken to emergency, I had to wait in the waiting room for 25 minutes before I could get in to see her and I did not know her status while waiting. If I had to wait anymore with this type of stress, they would have had a second patient -- me! Why the unacceptable wait??? Because they have only 1 security guard, (I was there several times before my Mother passed), and you have to wait until the 1 security guard is ready to take you into the emergency room (after taking the people waiting before you). The security guard was very friendly, but the process was very very slow and COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!! There needs to be at least 2 security guards on duty at all times of the day/night!! This is a management issue.

I m not even done with the emergency room situation. At the end of my Mother s life, she had broken a hip and I ve never seen that much pain in anyone, let alone my Mother. The doctors did try to give her a few different types of pain meds (which did not work). But some of the time, they just let her stay there screaming. They said they would try something else, but they informed me they would get there (with the something else) when they could, they had lots of patients. Of course they did, they are a trauma center. They also told me how many beds/patients they had and how many doctors (nowhere near enough). They had about 6-7 doctors for way way more beds. It got to the point where I was running around trying to track down doctors myself.

BILLING: Before my Mother became very ill, I saw what was coming and went to the hospital (and her health care organization). I gave the hospital all her insurance information, and informed them her Medicare Advantage plan covered everything but ambulance. The person put that into the computer system and assured me all would be ok. It was not!! My Mother passed in April. This is now December and I am still receiving bills for the hospital (this week). When I first received a hospital bill, I contacted the insurance company. I know her insurance company is extremely reliable, and they contacted the hospital at once. The hospital also failed to inform all of the other medical services of this insurance information, and over many months have been on the phone countless times and hours (probably 30+ hours) to straighten out the mess created by the hospital s inability to look at their own system.

Again, my hope is that this is all acted upon.

I had a visit to the ER. This was the worst experience of my life. I was left sitting in a wheelchair for 3.5 hours as there were no beds available. Their makeshift exam room was a curtain hung in the hallway. I received my DC summary only to see they never updated medications from 2 years prior (but I was billed for MedicalHistory review). After 3.5 hours, I asked a doctor for an update, he returns to tell me that the nurse has been waiting on a urine sample. How frustrating! In case you are wondering, I am fully insured under my BCBS PPO. The staff was indifferent, at best.

I have been going to this medical center I would say the last 20 years . Numerous doctors in different fields. You will be lucky if you find parking close to the building. Very busy place. The parking garage is free and actually would keep your car cooler. Both my sons we born at the hospital. It has beautiful views.

If I could give below one I would. I had post operative bleeding from prostate surgery and pelvic pain and could not urinate. I told the receptionist and she told me to sit down. I was in a terrible pain. She then told me to talk to a nurse and he told me, "If you're not dying, sit over there." He then lied and told me I was next in line. I never was called and had to beg a resident to help me. He was a good person and determined that there was a real problem. They then registered me and nothing happened. I was in worse and worse pain and I was begging for help. Finally an Asian man who I begged helped me and they put me in a corner and put in a catheter. This catheter was cheap and 4 days later, the tube rotted and I had to go to Kaiser ER 40 miles away which I was glad to drive to. They were taking people with bad colds over me. It was awful. I live in PS and if unless I am brought in by ambulance, I would never go there. If you are a Kaiser member, drive to Moreno Valley ER, totally worth it. How does this place stay open.

I delivered my baby at this hospital in November 2015. Fantastic delivery department and the nurses were amazing. Also, I had to go to the emergency room after a day of being discharged because of an issue with my legs and the E.R. Dr saw me right away since I had just had a baby. He was awesome and kind. Great ultrasound tech and can't say enough, I really appreciated the great customer service. It calmed me down needless to say. Thank you Desert Regional.

Rude staff!! Nurse seemed unable to measure the baby & their attitude is very rude. Walking through the hospital, and sitting out front, unfriendly and arrogant staff, rude. Girl at desk the only nice one. Previous visit: And when they tell you your wife will go home in good shape today because the Dr. is called God, then she dies a few hours later because Dr. couldn't even finish the surgery and left her connected to tubes, died. Where are the nurses & Dr. Now? Horrible place!! Dr. is extremely arrogant & can't talk with you, whispers to the nurse right in front of you to ask & answer questions... Horrible staff here, they couldn't even locate old files after sending me all over for a couple weeks... 12/9/19: go in for pre-op work and nurse/phlebotomist telling another coworker how she feels sick, it's probably the flu(tells me stomach turning, and its the same feeling as last time)... While she is breathing all over me(not even a mask) , but they have signs asking patients to wear masks if any symptoms.. Ridiculous! Why would workers ve spreading this virus to patients, etc?... 1/24/20 500PM brought grandson to the emergency room with vomiting and back pain , they take everyone that came after him before us. They were not in worse condition nor were they a small child. 1 hour before even taken to back room. No reason they took him after people who came after. Im disgusted & appauled!! 2 hours before they gave him nausea medication after he vomitrd on their floor. He's in pain and they're doing nothing, 2 hours later, no medication, just waiting. He's in a lot of pain. There is no turning these experiences around. They happened, and again & again. Horrible! now I am receiving bills from pre-op I did in December 2019 that is workman's comp. The hospital said they had all the information but now the people that are billing me for the hospital
pre-op did not give them the workman's comp information. Causing me a big mess this place is a disastrous! Found out they billed my insurance & not Work. Comp. I told them it's Work. Comp. and I questioned why she needed my insurance info, no one else takes my ins. info because it's Work. Comp.,. She said they just do, but they fraudulently billed my Ins. instead of Work. Comp. Something wrong with this picture.

ER HORRIBE! Left in a hallway for 5 hrs, Nurse yelling across hallway about my medical needs for the world to hear. Moved to Cardio unit where I was told I had to stay in my bed and if I got up to walk a little on the floor I would be discharged immediately! Told HOSPITAL POLICY BY NURSE KELLY! Only to find out later that was a lie! Medication given 2 hrs late, no food for 2 days even through I had no diet restriction except after midnight. Was discharged after major heart tests were done with no results, no diagnosis never saw a dr after 8am Monday. Still have chest pain and have no idea why! Complained to patient services and heard nothing! Wrote to every board member too! Room was dirty (have video) nurses to busy chit chatting about river trips and mad drinking binges.I WANT MUY RESULTS AND EACH DAY I DONT GET THEM IS ANOTHER COMPLAINT FILED!
UPDATE August 2018: Have Now Seen Cardio Dr And Got Results Of Test At Hospital...Sadly This Hospital Discharged Me Without Letting Me Know My HEART WAS IN DANGER. After Seeing A Cardio Dr And Many Tests With Results I Just (2 months) Got My Records From Hospital Shows Abnormal and other major things and they never even referred me to follow up with a Cardio Dr. Sadly No Board Member Has Responded. Nor Patoent Services

I ve heard bad reviews from friends who had a baby around the same time I did but for me it s 5 stars. Staff was always wonderful. I had a high risk pregnancy got admitted and had my son As an emergency c section 3 months early at 1 pound 4 oz and my operation team and the nicu team were wonderful. My husband and I often talk about how it was the perfect team for our son that night. They kept him alive and kept me calm while my husband was on his way to the hospital. We re in the nicu for a long time which meant lots of contact with staff. I can not thank the nicu staff enough for keeping our son alive. Would love to send them pictures if anyone knows how.

worst place ever...I was held on a 72 hour hold for my mental health. I was pregnant and I was crying and having a panic attack and one the nurses said "get up and pick up your trash." My mom was visiting and she was going to do it for me but the nurse said "No! She can do it herself. She needs to stop crying and help me out."
Not only is it her job to pick up after patients, but the heartlessness in her words was beyond me. Her and countless others belittled me and made me feel like a burden. I asked for a bible and they wouldnt give me one. I was only allowed to look at magazines. I got bad cramps and the whole experience was stressful for me and my unborn baby....worst experience of my life..I just hope others got the help they needed...

The ER appointment system made a trip to the ER much better. Was seen within 5 minutes of appointment time, staff and doctors were awesome. I was impressed with the fact that speed and efficiency were combined with a kind personal level of care that I observed for everyone in the ER. Even the security officers were nice. If a busy ER is that good it is because the staff like being there and the dept is well run.
