Coffee was good, but lost a phone there and didn't get any support from staff/management about it. Abruptly cut-off when we called in, disregarded when we turned up on site.
Major upset.

Coffee was good. Food was ok but not worth the high price tag. One dish came to the table about 10 minutes before the other.
Don't be fooled by the name. While this is a perfectly good cafe, it's not a serious coffee joint. The coffee is nothing special at all.
The cafe was unimpressive from the exterior, and upon entering we were surprised by how small and cramped the interior was. The waitresses however were commendable for being friendly and for trying their best to attend us the best they could amidst their hectic activities. True to its name, they offered no frills coffee, only the basics. Despite its location in the famed bar scene of Duxton Hill, its price was relatively affordable.
This place is Hot! In every way possible.
The ppl there are hot!
The price is hot!
The temperature is hot!
Hot! Hot! Hot!
Burger was in a macca's cheeseburger bun. Mixed or order up with another table. But in the whole OK food, staff and ambience. PS. They closed at 6pm on Tuesday despite 7.30pm on door and maps shop description.
Great lobster BLT for S$18.50. Great hot chocolate for S$5. Friendly service, even friendlier barrister. Free WiFi.
We strolled to have a lazy breakfast there. The waiter was super stressful and rude. We were about to order our (50$!!!) breakfast and had some last questions which were rebuked harshly - so we never tries the food as the service is simply unacceptable. Oh and as the eponymous chap pointed out - I'm from Russia, a country famous of its in the face attitude.
Limited variety of food choices. Food quality slightly above average but not worth the cost. Beverage servings are small. Cafe is small and has a cramp layout with limited spaces between tables and chairs. Poor ambience. Noisy, like a food court. Waiters and waitresses are not friendly - probably because they do not charge for service tax?
The queue can get write long here, but the food & coffee is worthwhile. The place is tucked away in a corner and has a nice cube to it. It does get a tad bit noisy and cramped in there.
